  1. If I have to explain what's out of character when Cena makes nicey nice with a guy who openly disrespected him and beat him sensless for several minutes after attacking several non-combatants, then I have a feeling I'm never going to get my point across.
  2. Yes but most beatdowns don't involve him being spat in the face and stretchered out, after numerous innocent bystanders were pummelled for no reason. I think unprovoked attacks on non-wrestlers might spark the indignant rage within him.
  3. Yes because it's absolutely impossible that Cena would have an out of character desire to work a match with somebody he clearly respects or anything.
  4. Right, because you know John Cena so very well. Seriously, if that's a worked response to the angle then it's the absolute WUSSIEST response he could've given. It makes him sound like somebody who's afraid he's gonna get his head kicked in again, not the tough faux Marine who keeps fighting no matter what the odds. No, if Cena were 'working' his comments he'd be showing anger due to the attack and possibly not being able to get his revenge.
  5. Really? Because he sure wasn't telling everybody how much he respected Randy Orton when they were feuding together. When he gets pounded by a heel he always challenges them to a match of some kind. He doesn't politely explain what respect he has for the guy who tried to lay him out.
  6. The twitter that makes no sense according to the storyline they had running prior to Danielson's firing confirms it's a work? No I really don't think so. If it were a work, Cena wouldn't really be treating the man who spat in his face and kicked his head in with respect now would he? No he'd be demanding Danielson's return so that he could get revenge for what Danielson did to him. Besides, if Randy Orton can get away with wellness violations and trashing a hotel room, Cena can easily get away with disagreeing with a single firing.
  7. Doesn't really mean anything, as they're only required to announce firings related to wellness issues.
  8. No it's not, because he was told by his employer to do that violent thing on TV. Thus it's his employer's fault for telling him to do it.
  9. Because they actually fired him? As in: in kayfabe he's not part of the company so the announcement of his release couldn't possibly be kayfabe?
  10. Sadly I'm not sure the winds of change thing is enough to confirm this as a work, though it does provide a few grains of hope. However as it's something Wade Barrett said, WWE probably thinks they can pull it off with so long as he's there.
  11. Sadly I can belive that WWE would be that stupid, even though I really don't want it to be true. Anyway only certain people can get away with large numbers of rule violations, even if it wasn't a rule when management told you to do it , and as much as I wish it was otherwise Bryan Danielson is not on that list. If I'm mistaken I'll happily jump for joy and admit I was wrong, but canning Danielson seems frighteningly within the realm of possibility.
  12. Adding Kaval to the angle would normally be very cool, but if it happens as a result of Danielson being fired then my interest has already been killed dead and nothing will be able to rekindle it.
  13. I agree with you guys, if they legit fired Danielson I've lost all interest in this angle and WWE programming once again. Danielson was going to be the guy who had to carry the wrestling end of this angle after all being easily the most talented of the season 1 NXT guys. Without him all you have are some rookies and FCW guys, not exactly something that builds confidence in the success of this angle. If it's a work however, Vince is brilliant for generating all this free publicity and I won't hesitate to say so.
  14. Well that would certainly make it more likely that he's still on the payroll, though the fact that he was recently in one of the WWE's best angles in years suggested that as well. Though as Colt Cabana will tell you, it wouldn't be the first time they hired a talented wrestler then canned him for not good reason. Though apparently they've decided not to do anything with the angle on Smackdown, aside from replaying it.
  15. On the other hand, this angle wouldn't be NEARLY as interesting to me without Bryan Danielson involved. The idea of WWE pushing two of the greatest ROH alumni to great heights in their company appeals to me that much.
  16. They'd be monumentally stupid to fire Bryan Danielson at this point after having him in such a huge angle on RAW. On the other hand, I could see the WWE making everybody belive he was legit fired to maintain the shock value of the angle. I'm hoping I'm right about this being part of the angle.
  17. I agree wholeheartedly and with any luck at all, I'll be headed down to the January 19th show at Ted Reeves Arena. Looks like it'll be an excellent show and I'll get to see some wrestlers whom I've never had the privledge of watching in person like Christopher Daniels and Steve Corino.

  19. <p>There's a reason I don't visit 411 anymore, that reason is the trolling done on the comment section. To hear them speak, ROH has had one foot in the grave the day after the company was formed.</p><p> </p><p> As for Ballz, they clearly brought him in to make the NYC crowd happy just like they bring in Canadian talent to work on ROH shows, everytime they come into Canada. It's not desperation, it's good business!</p>
  20. <p>Just finished watching it all again. Was that Howard Finkel trying to rescue Justin Roberts from the NXT guys before he got clobbered? If so that may count as the Fink's crowning moment of awesome for his career, despite getting clobbered.</p><p> </p><p> Best thing the WWE's done in years if you ask me, simply awesome.</p>

He is a good wrestler in his own right and was pushed into teh announce table......it could work.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I don't think so. The group is fine as it is right now, they don't need Striker right now.</p>
  22. <p>I actually watched RAW a second time to see the angle happen again, it was that awesome. It was done with some surprising subtlety too by WWE standards.</p><p> </p><p> I mean on some other message boards I hear people kvetching because they don't know why they attacked Cena, but it was pretty much stated earlier though not actually by them. Remember when Rey Mysterio was talking about becoming the top dog on RAW by beating Cena? Apparently Barret and company did. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I'm loving this and I'm so hoping WWE doesn't mess it up.</p>
