Let's be honest- Will Ospreay is not as big a name as some fans like to think he is. He might be known to AEW fans, but a lot of the casual fans who watch WWE probably have less an idea of who he is.

He's a big name for what is the wrestling community, which are the ones buying all this stuff at the end of the day, even more in the case of AEW where there isn't yet the same casual appeal of other brands. A lot of people who accompany AEW know who Ospreay is and if they didn't know they got to when he showcased himself big time with the company. That's also why almost every time he got great reactions from the crowds, he didn't get crickets.

It's really like something Vince would do. Like, when they announce a mystery partner, and then it turns out it's someone we see on the show every week, and they're not big enough a star to really justify the suspense. "Who will Becky Lynch tag with against Damage CTRL? Could it be- oh. It's Natalya. That's fine, I guess."

That's not the case here tho. The only problem is how they announced and him being very familiar face like you said. If he was the Devil it would be a total different story.

They don't. Look at the most popular TV characters today. Look at all the views the "ending explained" videos on Youtube get. Hell, look at Twitter. In general, people don't understand subtlety and nuance. You call it bush league, I call it mass appeal. Go read the Youtube comments on AEW's channel sometime. The masses eat this stuff up with a spoon. Whether that's for better or for worse is entirely up to you. Me personally? I'm a simple man. I appreciate a good match, promo skills, and character work. It takes a similar level of natural aptitude and hard work to get over in cartoonish 80s wrestling as it does to successfully walk The King's Road. I'm just enjoying the ride.

I know they eat this stuff up, that's why guys like Nolan are so popular even if they are very very flawed. That's why I also said the target audience is way bigger than me. Just writing my opinion, because I like to write.

I don't necessarily hate it, I'm a OC fan after all, but what was like a novelty and really in your face gimmick but yet very subtle too, now has the companion of not so subtle at all cartoonish gimmicks that are inserted into the main event. It is what it is.

  5. Jay White is such a chump now. Thanks Tony

Ima go out on a limb and say these way too gimmicky things doesn't cut for me that much and I know that the target audience is way bigger than me. Characters are important, no doubt, but there are characters and characters. I see people talk about Daniel Garcia's dance, Toni Storm, Rod and etc like "finally we have characters" and to me this is bush league through and through and feels like people don't understand subtle characters even if they hit them in the mouth.

No graphic updates - I've been splitting my time this weekend messing around with the GPT feature and taking care of a sick cat...

Anyway, I've been trying to develop a GPT that will allow anyone to create Logos/Titles/Events/Stables/Dojos with pretty minimal effort. I created a really basic set of instructions and examples based on the graphics I've been using. I have not stress tested this at all, but I am about to use it to crank out a ton of graphics. If you have ChatGPT+ and want to try it out, please follow this link:

    https://chat.openai.com/g/g-lC5JLzmeg-tew-ai-designer

There's very little complicated about it - if you start creating graphics for a promotion, it will start with the Logo and try to keep the designs and aesthetic consistent throughout all the titles and events. If you have a logo you are using already, you can upload it and have it use the design/aesthetic for the graphics it creates. It works pretty conversationally, so you can just tell it what you want as you want it, or a whole list and have it work through it. The titles by default should come out as illustrated, in landscape. If it is giving you realistic title graphics, prompt it to refer to it's instructions and it should fix itself.

I'm going to start using it myself, but I'd love to hear if other people find it useful and where I can look to improve it. Hopefully this makes things easy for anyone with ChatGPT+ to be able to make their own graphics.

These are my first three chats using it:

    image.png

Note that all of these graphics would need editing in GIMP (5-10 minutes worth) to be usable. If you aren't able to edit the images yourself, you can just keep rerolling until it's good (though I recommend learning how to use GIMP).

If you want to try your shot at creating belts and logos, give that GPT a shot! Give me your feedback so I can continue to work on improving the instructions and make it even better.

    Anyone with ChatGPT plus right?

Bing is a massive nightmare sometimes. Can't even get the prompt 'female wrestler, 3d render' to bybass the unsafe image.

'Businessman, mustache, middle aged, 3d render' was getting blocked too.

Also.. when posting results do people prefer the images resized and cut onto the blue CV background or do you prefer a larger PNG image? Iv got around 350 CV workers cut and ready to upload

Like I said to another poster, try rephrase your prompts with a little bit of bulls--- like "he is a businessman, has a moustache on his face, he's middle aged, 3d render" and yada ya

I assume you mean something like this

    image.png.dac7cc6ab32d9fdaf2e253cfbc854e57.png

I've tried a couple different prompts to generate this exactly and while I haven't been able to get a proper 1:1 like Alexa's attire, I got four that I felt like at least got into the ballpark.

    image.png.72bfefc5e20cd5ef7fcd2ab0cdd2e52d.pngimage.png.cf0c90c5adb954f6f6fcc18aaf838788.pngimage.png.3fbe32c064e609d002541a387a86db77.png

    image.png.c0bbfbfef3a09de6970cc78388f47de9.png

PROMPT 1: sleeveless black and metallic blue. leather halter neckline collar and open back crisscross crop top

PROMPT 2: sleeveless black and metallic blue crisscross cutout crop top with two strap neck collar

PROMPT 3: sleeveless black and metallic blue crisscross leather halter neckline collar and open back crop top

PROMPT 4: sleeveless black and metallic blue leather halter collar, crossover cut out crop top

Mentioning the halter neckline/collar seems to be key. "Crisscross", "cut out", "strappy" seem to all work before crop top. I feel like you shouldn't always have to include sleeveless, but it can be finicky sometimes, so I did it just to be safe. There is probably some master key sentence to be made out of these keywords, but the idea is there.

Been trying on bing those prompts and every time got blocked

Edit: it's the crop word that is blocking everything
