Since my A show was dropped, I have gone to every broadcaster who was open to negotiating, even ones with very small coverage, and Turner has blocked every one. This is perplexing as I have no way to broadcast my A show, despite having pretty good ratings and my product overall is good. So is there anything I can do to get my show back on the air?

I'm playing as an owner of World Championship Wrestling, using the 2000 historical mod, and have run into an issue I can't figure out. I lost my slot on TNT for Monday Night Nitro so I went to broadcasters to find a new slot. Several popped up as interested, but when I choose one to negotiate with I'm blocked with a message to the effect your owners, Turner Broadcasting, have blocked it due to the broadcaster having clashing content. I am the owner so I'm not sure why Turner is stated as the owner. I've looked at the in-game editor and I can't seem to find a way to get around this. Can someone help with how I solve this problem? I'm sure storylines are a problem. I have a handful I've started but I'm also only two weeks (game time - not real time) into it, so there hasn't been time to build much up yet.

You are probably right on the brand split. The reason I did it was because there was a huge roster (roughly 100) and a number of stars, plus I thought it might increase PPV revenue if each brand does one show per month.

Are there any good mods for sometime between 83 and 95?

My segment ratings vary greatly. Some are good and some are bad with the overall show score generally around 50.

I am using the Millenium and everything you said is true, so maybe that is my issue. Perhaps I'll try a different mod. I just liked that one as I worked for WCW in the early 90's.

My product settings are match focus is regular, angle focus is highlights and AI booking style is modern western. As for the booking issues, before I run each show I always looking at the issues that are flagged and address them. Is that what you are referring to?

I have been playing this game for the last several days and so far it reminds me of my experience in previous versions. It's a lot of fun at first, but I quickly see my company decline and I can't figure out why. Here is my current situation. I am using the 2000 Historical Mod and took over ownership of WCW. As I had around 100 workers, I split into 2 brands - WCW and NWO. Each has an A and B weekly show and an event once a month. I went out and negotiated broadcasting rights (both TV and PPV) in several areas of the world. As for booking, I do a combination of auto-booker (especially for B shows) and myself. I try and pre-book a few matches or angles for A shows and events. The results are what is very confusing. I've only played just under 2 weeks in the game (so I'm at the end of the 2nd week of January). My TV ratings seem to be great. For example, my last WCW Nitro (WCW brand A show) had an 8.07 rating and WWF on the same night for Smackdown did a 2.54. My ticket sales are good. My money has grown from $10M to start to nearly $14M (mainly due to new TV broadcast deals). However, my show ratings are in the 40's or low 50's, despite always having major stars doing angles or matches on A shows. My B shows with auto-booker at even worse. WWF is in the 80's. My prestige has dropped from the 70's into the low 60's and momentum from the mid 50's to low 40's. My company has dropped from big to medium and so now many of my workers are unhappy. I'm thoroughly confused as my money is growing and I have much broader TV coverage worldwide (with good TV ratings) but prestige is dropping like crazy. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. I also can't seem to figure out how to book a show with good show ratings unless all I do is use my major stars. Can some of you experts provide some advice or otherwise it's really not that fun to just see your company fall apart. Thanks!

Just curious - if I have started a game with another mod is there anyway to just incorporate your venues into it?

I'm new to the game and am playing as an owner with two brands, each running 2 tv shows per week and 1 event per month. I'd like to be more big picture (signing talent, managing finances, etc.) and not so much into every detail of booking. I would like to set up things like tag teams, stables and big storylines, but not have to do much after that. Is this possible by using auto-booker? If so, how do I set that up?

I've installed The Golden Age mod and am really enjoying playing it as it goes back to when I loved wrestling. However, one oversight I've noticed in the game is it does not have any venues in PA, OR or WA. When I go into the game world I can edit existing locations but don't see any way to add them. Is there a way to do this?

I'm using the Golden Age mod from 1987 but there is no PA in Tri-State or OR/WA in Northwest. I guess the mod could have left them out???
