Might be a dumb question but I spend the longest time trying to work it out but couldn't How do I set an owner for a 'yet to be opened' company? I know I have to set their opening time from Random to a time before the database begins but the Owner option in the Power Structure section is still greyed out.

I have nothing new to add but I just want to say that I'm so happy that NJPW is back. I've been watching some AEW and NXT to get my fix but they're just not the same. Also, I was kinda hoping for a Suzuki vs Gedo match haha

I'm thinking of running an existential crisis sort of storyline with Phenomenal E. The idea is that he's a wrestler who's at the twilight of his career, returning home to Canada after spending most of his career in Japan. As he looks back at his life, he feels a strange sense of emptiness. He made a name for himself in Japan but only as one part of a tag team. And now he returns home to a strange land that forgets about him while carrying the baggage of a failed marriage and lackluster career. He grows to resent wrestling and how he wasted his life away. So my idea is for him to slowly become a twisted, Thanos-like character; A soft-spoken heel who doesn't enjoy what he's doing but considers it the necessary evil to prevent others from experiencing what he's going through. I'm planning on pushing him as a top heel but struggle to come up with his ultimate "evil" plan which is where I need help. The death of pro-wrestling? Injuring people so they're forced to retire and pick a different career path? Create a fascist wrestling regime so he can dictate what pass as acceptable and enjoyable?

Is there a way to do an angle where one guy is cutting the promo and his manager is just standing there looking pretty? (Think Penelope Ford with Kip Sabian, Pieter with the Bullet Club, Miho with Taichi, Lana with Rusev sometimes, Catrina with Mil Muertes kind of) The product I'm using severely limits the rating of a sex appeal angle (pretty much cap it at 20) which makes sense if it's an Attitude Era WWE style segment but not the one I have in mind where the manager plays a minor role imo I'm using a freestyle angle and I have one guy rated on entertainment while his manager rated on sex appeal fwiw. Tried lowering the segment down to only 3 minutes and still getting the segment rating capped at 20.

I've tried a few events as YEPW because there are a lot of unemployed, talented young workers in Australia. Enjoyed it quite a bit because there are no workrate-centric promotions in the Oceania region and the narrative of flashy, young upstarts challenging the status quo against the bigger, more traditional companies is quite fun.

Yeah I believe this triggers as long as there's a star or major star in the match which is super annoying when I want to throw an inconsequential 6-men tag in the undercard. Too short and they think it should have gotten more minutes, too long and they'll say the undercard guys are overused (had to turn this off). I personally just take the penalty or if time allows it, give them more minutes with overused penalty turned off (doesn't make sense why they'd be overused anyways if they're in a 6-men tag match). Also if you think about it the penalty does make sense because a filler 6-men tag match shouldn't realistically get a high rating.

Any recs on how to fix CWA so they stay sustainable? I'm planning a competitive Canadian save with ACPW, 4C, CWWF, UEW, and QPW and kinda need CWA as the final boss Give them another TV slot? Trim their starting roster? Lower their owner's roster size preference?

This is just out of curiosity but how is Lord Rama usually perceived? I remember reading Ramayana dozens of times for high school and always coming out thinking that Lord Rama was kind of a terrible person. I'm not Indian so I don't know how it's perceived over there so I'm genuinely super curious haha

Only speaking for myself here but I prefer larger updates because I can't be bothered adding a new pack of workers every other day
