  1. I'm not a mod maker, so I don't think my opinion should have as much weight as those who do. I only wonder if it should be a retroactive rule. I realized that's the point and why people are asking about it now. But, I don't think a mod for TEW 2010 that hasn't had an update since 2011 should be made into abandonware since that wasn't a concern when that mod was being made. Maybe it only applies to mods made for WMMA 5, TEW 2020, Comic Book Universe, and any future titles?
  2. Just a small idea I've been thinking about recently. I feel that by allowing the player to choose what size ring they use, they'll be allowed to affect the identity of their company more. TNA's six-sided ring, for example. It doesn't need to be a purely aesthetic feature, either. I know WMMA has a similar feature, letting the player pick between cages and rings, and I feel TEW could take advantage of something along the same lines. Wrestlers going from one ring size to another generally have an adjustment period - WCW wrestlers going to the WWF had to adjust their spots due to the larger size of the WWF's ring. To reflect this I could see some sort of ring familiarity score handled the same way language is currently (unfamiliar -> somewhat familiar -> fully familiar). The more matches a worker has with a specific ring, the more familiar they become with it; maybe a higher basic score means they become familiar at a quicker rate. I don't see being familiar with a ring as causing any bonus to their in-ring performance but being unfamiliar causes a penalty. It's also something I would imagine people could turn on or off in their preferences. Not a fully fleshed-out idea, and probably one debated before (my quick 5 minute search didn't turn up anything on the first three pages anyway), but I feel like it's not a bad concept.
  3. Well, let's give this a shot, yeah? (I may have forgotten to take the screenshots on day one lol)
  4. That makes sense. Stepping away from TEW and the community for a while meant I forgot what all changed between games. And you're welcome for the logos! I'm sure other people could make something more interesting (and not using assets straight from the games/box art lol) but I wanted to pass those out if others wanted them.
  5. Started up a new game and noticed that Angela Thompson was missing any announcer skills. Did a bit more digging and discovered quite a few people are missing the skill despite being assigned the role. And since I was curious I did the same with Referees who were missing their stat. Thankfully it was only two. Last thing I looked at was the experience skill since it was looking a bit all over the place. The main thing I looked for was Road Agents missing any experience (when they probably should) or people had been active for at least a few years. I have no idea if it was like that in the old version of the database or a result of the conversions over to 2020, but I figured I should pass these along. Also made a few stable logos for the expanded CFC list since I like to have those filled out. Nothing for the NintenDOOM faction for now – the idea I had for it wasn't working out as I liked.
  6. 9000Verse? Now that's a name I have not heard in a long time... References aside, glad to see the TEW's wildest mod is still alive. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds!
