Hopefully some little QoL things (like reordering the office buttons to they're grouped somehow logically) can still happen though.

This years UI is taking some getting used to. I miss my wheel mouse at all times. Overall I think I.lkke the gameplay once you figure out the buttons.

One thing I find hilarious is the amount of "new member" accounts flooding in here to rip the game. I feel.like the established users, the people who frequently visit these forums and take part in this community are more satisfied.

I mean, I played in the old days, had a forum account, lost access to it, and just created a new one when this version came out, because for some reason (maybe being stuck at home due to coronavirus) I was actually looking forward to maybe getting back into wrestling after a long time.

It has a ton of data, but it's very well laid out, and where things are makes sense.

You had women in bras & panties prancing around on RAW on a weekly basis during the Attitude Era. Makes no sense to penalize that stuff or limit the ratings.

There's so much depth that you're forced to really hone in on the pros and cons of every specific promotion.

Sometimes the best creativity comes from the hardest limitations.

The downside I am seeing right now is that Adam has to be the one to balance the many variables in each product, and you have to recommend products to him for them to be put in the game. Since the common thing around here is "He's working on the game breaking stuff" can he be bothered to balance these products down the line?

I REALLY think that editing the product should stay locked but products should be mod controlled. Like if you want to change your product you have to import it and change your product over time like it works now. That way mod makers could fix the products, and the mechanics of changing products and working within their limitations still exist.

Yeah, I'd be totally fine with that. No issues if that's the way it had to be done. I don't think it should necessarily be a casual thing, but having it be completely removed from the end-user just means I'm potentially going to put the game down and sit and wait for someone else to add it in, and then have to check to see that happened and download an update and then go back to my game?

Not gonna happen. More likely I'd submit the request and move on to another game and not bother coming back for months.

 6. Yeah, having ONLY pre-set products (even with some "more will be added upon request" promise) isn't working for me. If I come up with an idea for a type of product I don't want to have to submit it and then wait until it gets determined worthy to be added and then added and pushed out, before I can play. Especially if I'm just tweaking things a little to respond to how my promotion is evolving due to workers I'm hiring. That just destroys my desire to devote time to the game when there's so many other options for my free time these days. If it can't be reverted back somehow, or opened up via a modding tool so everyone can create their own products then I really think it's going to be a non-starter for me. I have to wonder why it's so complicated to make it open to user changing? Are there some crazy interactions that are going on that having it user-changed would mess up??
 7. Yeah - it's so much less harsh on the eyes that way. Love it. If you're going that far though, couldn't you just replace the white with black and get rid of the lines altogether too?
 8. You can? I wasn't able to figure out how to change participants without deleting and rebooking last night.
 9. Completely agree. This, and the personality given to the characters, makes the game world so much more realistic. For all the (justified) complaints about the UI (it definitely hurts my eyes/head and is unclear in a lot of places), the "meat" improvements like this are really top-notch and shouldn't be overlooked. If we can just get the UI improved, and some QoL improvements to reduce the number of clicks (like say being able to access worker stats while booking angles to see what to rate them on) the game would be a clear winner.
 10. Don't know that anyone will see this in here, but one thing I have enjoyed so far is the removal of the whole "push" concept. I found a worker who was "Well Known" to the fans and in the span of an angle and a match against a "Star" managed to bump him up to being a "Star" himself. So much easier than the old way.
 11. Maybe it's just me too, but card ratings seem pretty low. Finding it hard to get over a 72/73 even when I'm having a superbly wrestled Main Event World Title defense between two big stars that is in the low 80's, and my kickoff angle is in the 90's. In 2016 the same card would probably end me up in the B- range.
 12.

Because it is determined by both their popularity and how you use them, so until you use them, you don't know.

That....makes sense.

Too bad it was the first show. Good thing he didn't mind going to rehab.

 13.
So if I want to create a tournament for my women I have to know ahead of time which of the names on my roster are women, because there's no way to filter on the tournaments screen at all.

GRRRR

 14. Why can't I see in a wrestler's profile whether he's a Star, Well-Known or whatever? I'm trying to discipline someone and I'm not intimately familiar with my roster and I have no idea from that screen how important he is.
 15.

You can change it to not be Main Event booking (so that you go from the bottom up instead of the top down)

Why can't we have drag-and-drop on this screen to rearrange though? Why should we have to be clicking arrows to rearrange either way on say a 12-15 item card?

 16. It's just crazy. Especially when you have to keep following whatever you're rearranging to move it around. So tedious.
 17. Why not let the users create their own product types though? Why add in this unnecessary intermediary step? Is there something about the game that it would BREAK if I wanted to run a promotion where all matches under 30 minutes are penalized for being too short, and we like risque gimmicks and angles?
 18. Is it? It's booking all my individual matches at 3 minutes. And a 14 minute show-opening angle.
 19. I don't understand this decision either. Wondering though if we can create product types in the editor (I haven't checked yet), that would be a fix for that.
 20. I've resisted commenting on the UI issues everyone else has pointed out, but I'm going to chime in here to bring attention to this. THIS THIS THIS. SO DAMN TEDIOUS. And also, larger font sizes FFS. Some of us are getting older, or just genetically have shitty eyes. I'm over having to squint at my screen to play games. That's not fun and just leads to headaches.
