  1. Unless you are trying to show a squash match, why wouldn't you use Open Match? Does it limit the more over wrestler's momentum at all? Is there ever a time to just run a "normal" match?

JCP's worker attributes are my first priority. Then WWF's.<p> </p><p> Then I'll release a beta.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Woot woot!</p>
  3. This is probably a TEW 2020 problem and not a Risky Business problem, but I'm running with a converted 2016 Risky Business save and in 86 my popularity raised enough to go to "National" but lowered back down to "Cult" a few months later. However, all of my wrestler's "statuses" are still being reflected by the international status, for example when I was "Cult" status Hogan was a Major Star, when I went National he became just a star, but now it's back at Cult he's still just a Star. The game is also making me lose popularity accordingly and giving me poor ratings for 70ish show ratings when before such a rating would raise my status...
  4. Jaysin, is there anything I can do to help out? Even if it's not just for "current" 1985 era stars, I don't mind helping. I'm pretty familiar with even indie stars in the 2000's

If you don't directly run your dev company, and it needs more wrestlers than it has "to avoid looking amateurish", won't the Booker or Owner of the dev company go out and sign the workers he/she needs to be able to run effectively?<p> </p><p> I think you're only actually responsible for two rosters if you actually run the dev company (by using a second player character) directly.</p><p> </p><p> St.T</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> If you don't directly run your dev company, you can't send workers you've signed down to them in order for them to develop. I'm not sure if this is by design or if it's an error, but if it was by design, it's one step forward two steps back in my opinion.</p><p> </p><p> I'm hoping that it's changed in the very near future.</p>

Personally, I always like my developmental territories to manage their own roster but I can still send them or call up guys as I see fit.</p><p> </p><p> Seems it’s one way or the other now, which anyway you slice and dice it, is a MASSIVE backwards step for the game.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Agreed... I think I'm sticking with TEW 2016, seems like for every step forward there are two steps back with this game.</p>
  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="awesomenessofme1" data-cite="awesomenessofme1" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47568" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>If you don't have them set to accept developmental workers, your child company will hire people as normal.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> But if I want a mix of having them hire their own workers while I send mine down to them, will I just have to turn on "Accept Developmental Workers" whenever I want to do so and then turn it back off to have them continuing to hire people?</p>
  8. So basically creating a Child Company feature was taken away in TEW 2020? That's not great...
  9. Auto-hire for child companies? Hey guys... so I created a child company, assigned a CEO and booker, but they don't appear to be hiring anyone automatically... how do I get them to hire some people? The UI is really non-intuitive (for me anyways) and stuff is sometimes deeply buried so I'm probably just overlooking it, but I don't see the option to make sure they are a "Child Company" vs a "Development Territory" a la TEW 2016
  10. Jokes aside, I really hope you didn't. I really enjoy the "what if" scenarios that playing old databases offer, it's the whole point I play them Even if I don't recruit certain people, I enjoy seeing what they do in other territories.

My state is ending it's pandemic shutdown and I'll be back to two jobs so my free time will be scarce. Still plugging away though.<p> </p><p> I went through WWF's roster and it looks like the converter did a pretty good job on attributes, but I'll be adding more. Then I'll go to JCP and do the same thing.</p><p> </p><p> I'm torn on what to do with the NWA World title. On one hand, JCP was it's home for the mid-late 80s, but Flair did defend it elsewhere.</p><p> </p><p> I also have WCW as a yet to debut promotion, so leaving the NWA title as JCP's primary title gives them their own main event belt when competition hits.</p><p> </p><p> Anyone have a preference?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Is there a way to script it so that the title stays with JCP until WCW hits? I don't see any issues with that. Is JCP part of the NWA in the mod?</p>
  12. I'm in no way rushing Jaysin because I'd much rather this mod be excellent than rushed and buggy, and I know you said you don't have an ETA, but do you have a rough guess at least when you think the mod may be ready? Next week? Next Month? Next year? I ask because I'm honestly waiting for this mod to hit before purchasing the game, and if Jaysin expects it's going to be awhile, I may start with another mod. I just didn't want to get heavily involved in a mod for a few days and then this one comes out lol.
