I have a question for you all - When creating your own broadcaster, can you improve their reach like you could in TEW 2016? I don't see any place to do it.

Have you considered having two versions of the database? A full (w/ all promotions open), and a light (w/ some set to inactive)?

<p>If you're working on companies to add, I can suggest a few in Canada, like IHW, a Maritime wrestling company who have been around since 2005, draw over 700 per show, and are working with Smash Wrestling in Ontario for the anniversary show this fall. Also, Destiny Wrestling, that is owned by Santino and run shows in Ontario frequently. They are also going to make their debut in the Maritimes this fall as well.</p><p> </p><p> There are a few more as well, including UCW that has recently drawn 1200 fans to one of their shows.</p><p> </p><p> If you want some info on them, I can gladly provide it, or help you with it if you need it!</p>

I've made it to 2003 and the promotion has grown to small size. I'm selling out every show with 500 people in attendance, and can make a small profit. If I take a month off every now and then, I make about $5000 and recover any loses I might make using a few more stars. I've managed to book a few B level shows, as I use Duane Stone (since NOTBW went out of business). It seems I'm moving quick towards regional, which is great. So I decided to start over, as I was unable to get a job after three years of simming. I have done much better this time around so far. I managed to meet my owner goals, one being that I have $10,000 in the bank by the end of year two. It was actually difficult to reach while running shows, so I took the last three months of the year off and reached the goal thanks to sponsorship money. I've managed to get a company through the dry period with just 1 show a month, but you end up running with just 5 hired wrestlers. After that some people have pre-set a owner who can be a referee. I allowed the game to assign me an owner and ended up with Marvin Earnest. I used him as an announcer and hired a referee.<p> </p><p> Once you get to F popularity it seems to get a lot easier fairly quickly. Yes, unfortunately I've discovered that the hard way. I normally play with smaller promotions (MAW being my favourite), so I figured I could handle it. Nope haha. If I restart, I'll be more careful about how I move forward. I'm considering running 4 shows a month for two months, then taking two or three months off to recoup a bit of the losses.

<p>Well, for the first time in years of playing TEW (since 2005 or 2007), I have run a company out of business haha.</p><p> </p><p> I'm debating about restarting or continuing on and seeing what opportunities open. The only company hiring right now is a regional one, and I never grew the company to small. So I need to wait for a local or small company to be available. Nonetheless, I'm still having fun.</p>

<p>I forgot to mention my first roll: 52. "The Real Rock n' Rolla" You've filled in for a band member one night, who now wants to you tour with them as a result. Add +10 between your Microphone and Charisma. Add "Musician" to your character. (Other Genre)</p><p> </p><p> Awesome haha.</p>

<p>One year in and I saw some decent progression with my character. I'll post another update after another year or two playing. I saw some small increases in psychology, etc. Even the in ring skills have increased decently. I'm really happy with the progression in the ability to play as a heel. I'm thinking about turning him babyface and seeing that increase too so I can have a wide variety of skills in terms of characters. I also went up in size from lightweight to middleweight and saw an increase in star quality and power.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/JQDFLbq.png</span></p><p> </p><p> So far, my company is still running, but man, it is losing money. While I've managed to keep spending to a minimum, it's going to be awhile before I can make a profit. What is the range a company is allowed to go into debt before closing?</p>
