  1. ICWA Genesis: Jan Week 4, 1996 (Pay Per View 001) ICWA Presents: Genesis LIVE on Pay Per View From the OnCenter War Memorial in Syracuse, New York Saturday Wk 4 January, 1996 Opening Angle: Burt Busch & Jesse Ventura get us hyped up as they summarize the ICWA’s short but significant rise from Birth in October of 95 to debuting on Pay Per View here in January of 96. They also put over the upcoming card, and specifically the conclusion of the multi-month 31 man ICWA World’s Heavyweight Title tournament as Vader and Roddy Piper meet in the main event tonight to finally crown the very first ICWA World’s Heavyweight Champion! Segment RATING: B+ Opening Match ICWA Women’s Championship One On One Luna Vachon Vs Madusa The women’s title hasn’t seen much TV time since it’s debut in 1995. Madusa became Women’s champion on an Episode of ICWA Demented on wk 4 of November 1995. She had 3 successful title defenses between then and Genesis. However, much like Madusa before her, Luna Vachon’s television debut proved a successful title capturing opportunity as Luna Vachon defeated Madusa for the ICWA Womens Championship. Match Rating: C Match Two Tag Team Match Hercules Hernandez & The Barbarian (w/ Gary Hart) Vs Road Warrior Hawk & Mystery Partner Much to the delight of the sold-out crowd in Syracuse, Road Warrior Animal made his ICWA debut to join his longtime partner Road Warrior Hawk. The Road Warriors had a Hell of a hard-hitting fight with Hercules and The Barbarian right up until Hawk and The Barbarian both went down from simultaneous clotheslines. Hawk found his way to make the tag but just as he got there, Animal dropped off the apron to gasps and boos. With Animal walking away, the remainder of the match became a two on one handicap match which proved too much for Hawk to overcome. Hercules and The Barbarian picked up the win from a double flapjack. Road Warrior Animal has turned heel. Match Rating: B Match Three Tag Team Street Fight Raven & Stevie Richards (w/ Lexi York) Vs Doug Gilbert & Jim Duggan (w/ Elizabeth & Mr. Hughes) After months of being toyed with and avoided by Raven, Doug Gilbert wasted no time bringing the fight to Raven here tonight. This fight found its way all over the ringside area. At one point Mr. Hughes found himself distracted arguing with Elizabeth and got laid out with a 2x4 shot from Duggan that was meant for a ducking Stevie Richards. The fight continued. Hacksaw and Stevie spilled back into the ring, but Raven and Gilbert remained on the floor. Gilbert gave chase to Raven with a steel chair, but Raven managed to grab Elizabeth and pull her in front of him, expecting Gilbert to back off. Gilbert however just keeps going and a wide-eyed Raven realizing Gilbert’s willing to shoot the hostage to hit the hostage taker (so to speak) eases his grip just enough that Elizabeth is able to dive away at the last second as Gilbert nails Raven with the chair. Burt Busch, “My God… Only by the grace of God and about an eighth of an inch of space did Doug Gilbert avoid hitting Elizabeth with that chair!” In the ring Jim Duggan witnessed what happened and he is wide eyed with surprise. He takes a step toward the ropes, perhaps considering going out to the floor to address the situation. However, before he can Stevie Richards schoolboy’s Duggan to his shoulders for a two count. As the fight continues, Gilbert and Raven eventually end up back in the ring. Gilbert scoops him up for a slam. But Raven slips down behind Gilbert. Gilbert turns around and BAM! Evenflow DDT. 1, 2, 3. Winners: Raven & Stevie Richards Match Rating: C+ Raven, Stevie and Lexi are quick to clear out. Once Doug Gilbert comes to, he is incensed about losing. Hacksaw gets a mic and cuts a promo essentially telling Gilbert that this has all gone too far. What started as vengeance for Elizabeth has become something else. Elizabeth is practically a prisoner these days, being manhandled by that goon Hughes. Gilbert has become so driven to beat Raven that he’s becoming almost as bad as Raven and that’s not who Gilbert is. It’s time to let this go before it consumes him totally. Gilbert agrees, but when they turn to leave Gilbert low blows Duggan from behind and begins beating him with his own 2x4. Elizabeth tries to lunge between them but Mr. Hughes bear hugs her from behind so she can’t get away from him. Gilbert finishes his onslaught on Duggan before he finally drops the 2x4 and heads for the back. Hughes trades his bear hug for a firm hold on Elizabeth’s arm so he can drag her in tow, not allowing her to stop and check on Duggan. Doug Gilbert has turned heel. Segment Rating: C+ Match Four ICWA Tag Team Title Match Triple Threat Match Disciples of Apocalypse [brian Lee & Snake w/ Amy Lee] Vs Miracle Violence Connection [Dr. Death & Terry Gordy] Vs The Steiner Brothers [Rick & Scott Steiner] This match was the barn burning brawl everyone expected it to be. The referee was in a constant struggle to keep control of what was going on. Eventually with everyone else brawling amongst themselves on the floor, Terry Gordy happened to roll in and turn just in time to be taken over with a Frank-n-Steiner. Gordy kicked out at three and a quarter, but that was a quarter too late. The Steiners Retain Match Rating: B Match Five Grudge Match Tatanka Vs Darius Cain After weeks of vignettes and attacks under the cover of darkness, Tatanka was finally able to meet Darius Cain one on one in Cain’s in ring debut for the ICWA. The two had a solid bout but in the end Darius blinded Tatanka with a crimson mist similar to that of Muta’s green mist, followed by The Dark Embrace [scorpion Death Drop style reverse DDT]. Winner: Darius Cain Match Rating: C+ Match Six ICWA National Championship Cactus Jack Vs “Stone Cold” Steve Austin For the first time, Steve Austin was announced to the ring tonight as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Before Austin could even finish coming down the ramp, Cactus Jack came out and darted toward him, the fists flying about three quarters of the way down the aisle way. After several minutes of brawling on the floor around the ringside area, they eventually found their way in the ring where the bell sounded to officially start the contest. Jack and Austin were both pushing the rules as far as they would go. Both men would go to 4 and some change before breaking holds. The match would spill out onto the floor a couple of times, allowing Cactus to deliver the diving elbow drop off the ring apron to Austin on the concrete. It also allowed Austin at one point to lift up the black crash mats at ringside to expose the concrete and deliver a pile driver to Jack on the exposed concrete. These guys fought for more than fifteen minutes, both men being nearly disqualified a bunch of times. But finally in the ring the referee ended up getting sandwiched in the corner on accident. Jack got the double arm DDT but there was no referee to count the three. As Jack starts yanking the referee around by the shirt to get him moving, Austin was able to roll out, grab his title belt, and roll back in. Jack turns back just in time to take the title between the eyes. Austin covers 1, 2, … Jack kicks out. They come up, Jack goes for the clothesline, but Austin ducks under, kicks Jack in the gut, grabs him by the neck and hits a new move that Burt Busch calls, “A Stone Cold Stunner!” This time Jack stays down 1, 2, 3. Winner and still Champion: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin Match Rating: B Match Seven One On One Cyrus (w/ Woman) Vs Ken Shamrock The Founder and President of the DOA MC verses The World’s Most Dangerous Man. This one was a bit slower paced, giving the crowd an opportunity to come down from the Austin/Jack fight and recharge their batteries for the upcoming main event. Shamrock eventually took Cyrus over with the Belly to Belly and was about to put on the ankle lock when Woman withdrew a small item from her bra and sprayed Ken in the eyes with it. The referee’s view was just obscured enough by his ring positioning that he didn’t catch it, but Shamrock’s reaction was enough to have Burt Busch speculating that perhaps it was Mace or Pepper Spray. Either way it was enough to allow Cyrus to get up, boot the blinded Shamrock in the breadbasket and powerbomb him to victory 1, 2, 3. Winner: Cyrus Match Rating: C+ With that we go back and watch a video showing us highlights of the World Title Tournament focused around Vader and Roddy Piper. From there we switch to a sky view of the jam packed Oncenter… Finally “Das Alte Leid” by Rammstein AKA Vader’s theme hits the PA as the crowd begins to boo… Main Event ICWA World’s Heavyweight Championship Tournament Final Vader w/ Harley Race Vs Rowdy Roddy Piper Referee: Tommy Young Road Agent: Harley Race Vader entered the ring first, looking as big and as nasty as he’d ever looked. In tow, his manager and a former world champion in his own right, Harley Race. Once Vader’s theme was replaced by the sounds of bagpipes the crowd’s tune immediately changed to one of great adulation and excitement. Burt Busch, “Listen to this capacity crowd here in Syracuse!” Jesse Ventura, “They’re absolutely deafening Busch.” “Piper for President” and “In Rod We Trust,” were just a couple of the noticeable signs amongst the standing, shouting masses. As Piper stepped between the ropes, Vader remained in his corner, snarling like the beast that he’d proven to be over the course of the last couple of months. Burt Busch, “Vader is the man that nearly ended Terry Funk’s career… Vader is the man that broke Ron Simmons leg and put him out of commission for the foreseeable future. Vader is the man that took Cactus Jack’s ear from his very skull… And now he is the man who looks across the ring at Roddy Piper as his final obstacle between he and the ICWA Heavyweight Wrestling Championship of the World.” Jesse Ventura, “When you put it like that, Roddy Piper is perhaps the least enviable person in the building tonight, but don’t sell the Hot Rod short Busch.” Burt Busch, “Absolutely not… Roddy Piper is one of the biggest stars in the history of our sport. He has headlined every event worth mentioning, he has been a leading man in Hollywood, he has beat a who’s-who of grapplers, but the one thing he has never done in his illustrious career is become the World Heavyweight Champion. He has defeated some of the greatest champions of all-time, but he himself has never been champion, and I know from personal conversations with Roddy that it eats at every fiber of his being that he has never been at the pinnacle of the sport in that capacity… That he has never been the World champion.” As these two gladiators size each other up from across the ring, our ring announcer provides the introductions. During the introductions referee Tommy Young displays the new, never before worn ICWA World’s Heavyweight Championship He raises it for all of the fans to see. He allows both Vader and Piper to take a look as the introductions conclude. Finally he hands it down to a hand at ringside who gets it over to the time keeper. Piper’s eyes follow the belt and that’s all the opening Vader needs to dart across the ring with shocking speed for a man of his size in an effort to squash Piper against the buckles to start the match. Burt Busch, “And here we go! The ICWA World’s Heavyweight championship on the line! The waiting is over! No more challengers, no more tournament brackets, no more contracts to sign… Folks, no matter who wins this bout history is being made, and we’re so happy that you’ve joined us here tonight to be a part of it!” Vader kicks things off pummeling Piper with hard shots in the corner. He whips Piper across and tries to follow him in with another corner splash, but Piper moves just in time for Vader to throw himself into the buckles. From here Piper begins to get on the offensive to the fans delight. Piper’s early strategy seems to be to take quick, hard jabs when they’re available, and to use Vader’s size against him. This works for Piper for a couple of minutes. Vader misses on an elbow drop, and misses another corner splash, both of which allow Piper to stay ahead if anybody were judging this thing on points. At one point Vader drops to a knee and Piper slaps the Sleeper Submission hold on him. Burt Busch, “Piper with that patented sleeper submission hold…” Jesse Ventura, “Nobody applies that hold quite as well as Roddy Piper, but I don’t think he’s got all of it here…” Sure enough, Ventura’s suspicions prove correct as Vader is able to get to his feet and run backwards crushing Piper between himself and the corner buckles. Piper is forced to release the hold and this allows Vader to take over on offense. Much to the crowd’s dismay, Vader would remain largely in control for the next several minutes. Every so often there would be a glimmer of hope as Piper would fight his way to his feet from chin lock and escape only to eat a big boot, or take a knee to the gut. On occasion, Vader would knock Piper out of the ring, allowing Harley to get a shot or two in before rolling the Rowdy one back into the Mastodon. It was after one of these such exchanges that Vader came over, scooped the lifeless Piper off the mat, scooped him up and slammed him down near the corner. Vader climbed to the second rope and looked back… Burt Busch, “I think he’s sizing him up for that Vader Bomb…” Vader bounced about, but seemed to change his mind and began climbing to the top rope. Burt Busch, “Oh wait a minute… What’s he gonna do here?” Vader flipped backwards but as he did Piper had just enough life to roll toward the corner, narrowly escaping being crushed beneath a Vader Moonsault. The crowd goes nuts as Burt Busch exclaims, “PIPER MOVED! PIPER MOVED! Vader went for the Moonsault, but he took too much time and PIPER MOVED!” Harley is spitting gravel at ringside as Vader and Piper are both down on the mat. Tommy Young begins the count as the crowd is roaring… Crowd: PI-PER! PI-PER! PI-PER! PI-PER! PI-PER! PI-PER! Burt Busch, “Piper and Vader are both down! This crowd is desperately trying to get the Hot Rod back to his feet!” Jesse Ventura, “Let me ask you this Busch, what happens if neither man can get back to their feet?” Burt Busch, “Well I… I guess it’d be a draw…” Jesse Ventura, “And then what? We still don’t have a world’s champion? They share the belt? What happens if this thing ends up being a draw?” Burt Busch, “I don’t know Jesse… I don’t think anybody ever thought this match would come down to a draw, but we may end up finding out.” Narrowly before 10 both men find their feet. Vader darts toward Piper looking for a clothesline but Piper ducks under. Vader spins back around and BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! A series of hard rights back Vader up to the ropes as the crowd roars. Piper goes for the Irish whip but Vader swings through and reverses. Piper comes back off the ropes and Vader throws up a big boot, but Piper ducks under. Piper hits the other ropes as Vader turns and Piper leaps up and nails him with a flying elbow shot. Vader stumbles back holding his mouth and slumps back against the ropes. Piper darts toward the big man and Vader pushes himself off the ropes just in time to eat a clothesline from Piper that makes him slump back down into the ropes. Piper then leaps up and hits a dropkick that makes Vader go through the ropes to the outside floor as the crowd goes wild. Burt Busch, “Piper is on fire! Piper is still in this thing!” Harley Race rushes around the side of the ring to Vader who is on his feet cussing and kicking at the fan barricade. Meanwhile, Piper darts back, hits the ropes, and by the time they realize what’s going on Piper uncharacteristically dives through the ropes in a sort of suicide dive/crossbody leap that makes both Race and Vader hit the floor as the crowd goes wild. Burt Busch, “OH! Roddy Piper through the ropes! Roddy Piper with the high risk maneuver and boy did it pay off!” Piper gets back into the ring and while Race is still down, Vader is not far behind Piper. Vader follows him in and Piper is right on him with hard right hands getting Vader to the corner. Piper tries to whip Vader across but Vader reverses and Piper hits the opposite corner. Vader follows him in and hits a hard body splash. We’ve entered catch as catch can territory as Vader and Piper are going back and forth, both men sweating heavy, each move seeming like it could be the last. Finally Vader gets Piper in the middle and lands the powerbomb. Burt Busch, “UGH! Powerbomb! And that’s gotta be it… These two have taken each other to their limits but there’s no way anybody can get up from that after the fight these two have had… Vader is our new.. WAIT A MINUTE?! HE KICKED OUT! HE KICKED OUT! ROWDY RODDY PIPER KICKED OUT! MAH GOD, How in the HELL did he kick out?!” Jesse Ventura, “Calling that a kick out is a stretch. He got the shoulder up. Vader should have put weight down on that far shoulder. You can be lazy with your covers against a guy like Roddy Piper.” Vader becomes confrontational with Tommy Young, but Young insists that Piper narrowly kicked out. Vader eventually turns back and heads back for Piper. He bends down to grab him and Piper takes him over in a small package… Busch, “PIPER’S GOT HIM! PIPER IS ABOUT TO BECOME THE ICWA WORLD’S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION… CAN HE… NO! VADER KICKED OUT! Another nearfall in this huge world title contest!” Vader and Piper come up and Vader gives the big avalanche splash to Piper in the middle making Piper hit the mat. Vader peels him back up and then scoops him up looking to slam him near the corner… However, as he does Piper pushes himself back and grabs Vader in a sleeper while staying on his back. Burt Busch, “He’s got it again! Piper has got the sleeper on him again!” Jesse Ventura, “But can he keep it on him?!” Vader gets lined up with the corner and charges backwards like he did previously, and crushes Piper into the corner pads. Piper lets go as Vader stumbles forward, but Piper only grabs his back for a moment, then runs back up and jumps back on Vader’s back, locking it in again. Burt Busch, “Vader breaks free… BUT WAIT… PIPER’S GOT IT AGAIN!” The crowd is going nuts as Vader tries to shake Piper off of him. Piper takes a few steps back toward the buckles but he doesn’t have the stamina to run back and crush Piper again… Vader instead drops down to a knee making the crowd roar even more. Burt Busch, “Vader is fading and fading fast!” Jesse Ventura, “Vader’s got great conditioning for a big guy, but at the end of the day he’s still a big guy and this thing’s been going a long time…” Vader’s resistance seems to dissipate as his arms fall limp at his side. Young rushes in and lifts one of Vader’s big ol’ arms, clearly struggling to do so. He lets it drop and counts 1. Young repeats the process and counts 2. He finally lifts it a third time… Burt Busch, “If Vader’s arm drops a third time, we’ll have a new world’s champion…” Young releases and… Burt Busch, “HE HAS DONE IT! RODDY PIPER HAS DONE IT! ROWDY RODDY PIPER HAS JUST BECOME THE VERY FIRST ICWA WORLD’S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!” The bell sounds and Piper releases the hold, allowing Vader to flop the rest of the way to the mat as the ring announcer declares: “Here is your winner, and the very FIRST ICWA WORLD’S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION…… rrrrrRRRRRRRROWDY rrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRODDDY PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-PER!” The bagpipes take the PA as the crowd is going wild. Tommy Young hands Piper the belt and raises his hand as Piper leans his head back, his hair drenched with sweat. Burt Busch, “Do you believe it?! Roddy Piper has finally realized his dream of becoming the World’s champion and he has done it here in the EYE-SEE-DOUBLE-YOU-EH!” Jesse Ventura, “I don’t think we’ve heard the last of the man they call Vader, but I have to give it up to the Hot Rod tonight… I would have bet good money on Vader, but Piper has earned that championship belt here tonight.” Piper climbs the corner ropes and raises the belt high in the air as Burt Busch says, “Folks, what a night it has been! What a night it will be three nights from tonight when we return to FX for ICWA Demented! We have got a new world champion, and with a new world champion there will competitors coming out of the woodwork to lay their claim to the next title match!” Jesse Ventura, “That’s right. Becoming champion is the easy part; Remaining champion is a whole different ballgame.” Burt Busch, “Folks, we are out of time here tonight… Thank you so much for joining us on this, our inaugural Pay Per View appearance. We are sure to have many more down the road and we hope to see you at each of them. Tuesday night don’t forget to join us as Roddy Piper makes his very first appearance on FX as the ICWA Champion! For Jesse Ventura and everybody else here at the ICWA, Good Night from Syracuse New York!” Match Rating: B+ Piper Celebrates Victory Angle Rating: B Overall Show Rating: B

  3. ICWA Demented: Jan Week 4, 1996 (Episode 016) ICWA Demented Episode 16 January Wk 4, 1996 Out of the opening video package we find ourselves at ringside where Double B Burt Busch and Jesse Ventura at ringside. They remind of us of how we went off the air last week with Cactus Jack putting the full fledged assault on Steve Austin as retribution from an assault by Austin on Jack previously. Further more our commentators remind us that tonight is the night our Genesis Main Event gets officially signed as Roddy Piper and Vader will meet to sign the contract for their world title main event match coming up this Saturday night on Pay Per View. Segment Rating: B- From there Burt sends it backstage where Larry Matysik is standing by with Kamala and his agent Brother Brucie. Larry interviews Brother Brucie about Kamala’s up coming match later tonight with the World’s Most Dangerous Man Ken Shamrock. Brother Brucie starts getting into how Kamala’s going to beat Shamrock tonight when the promo is interrupted by a vistor… Doug Gilbert walks into the scene in Blue Jeans and a blue Ribera Steak House jacket. Gilbert garners a bit of a mixed reaction, but that reaction becomes heavier on the boos when it becomes apparent that Gilbert isn’t being hostile or confrontational with Brother Brucie. Brother Brucie, “Wellllllllll-Well… Mister Gilbert… Here for a shot at my Uganda giant?” Doug shakes his head, “No sir… Brother Brucie, I’m sorry to interrupt, but I was hoping I might could get a moment of your time.” Brother Brucie, “What can I do for you Mr. Gilbert?” Doug Gilbert, “I understand you’ve got some clout backstage… You’ve got the ear of some folks with influence around here; is that right? Brother Brucie smirks and says coyly, “Perhaps…” Doug slumps, almost hat in hand as he says, “Brucie… I need a favor.” Brother Brucie grins, places a hand on Doug’s back and says, “By all means Mr. Gilbert, let’s walk and talk. Tell ol’ Brother Brucie what he can do to help.” With that Brother Brucie signals for Kamala to follow as Brucie wraps an arm around Gilbert’s shoulders and the trio walk off camera. Burt Busch, “What in the world? Doug Gilbert just asked Brother Brucie for a favor? What is that about?” Segment Rating: C- Match Tag Team Jay Eagle & Romeo Valentino Vs Hercules & The Barbarian (w/ Gary Hart) Match Rating: D The bugs meet the windshield as Hercules & The Barbarian squash the local talents. Burt and Jesse put over the seemingly unstoppable force of these two monsters lead by the devious and nefarious Gary Hart as we head to commercial Break. When we return Rick Landrum is standing by with Road Warrior Hawk re-watching the brief annihilation of Jay Eagle and Romeo Valentino at the hands of Hercules and the Barbarian. Rich Landrum asks how Hawk’s feeling about his tag match against Herc and Barb four days from now at Genesis after seeing that squash, and additionally if Hawk has been able to find a partner. Hawk gives the usual loud and proud kill ‘em and grill ‘em type response, and states that he doesn’t have a partner yet and he doesn’t care if he finds one either because whether it’s two on two or two on one, he’s ready to crush Gary Hart and anybody who’d stand beside him. Segment Rating: B+ We head back to ringside where Burt Busch and Jesse Ventura switch gears and begin discussing the brewing tag team title feud between the Steiner Brothers, Snake and Brian Lee of the DoA, and the Miracle Violence Connection (Dr. Death & Terry Gordy). We see some clips of the wild brawls featuring all six of those guys and clips of last week when leader of DOA Cyrus and close friend of the Steiners Ken Shamrock ended up involved as well. Burt explains that in an effort to avoid any further destruction before the Pay Per View all six of those tag teams were told to stay home tonight, however, it has been made official that at Genesis this Sunday night the Steiners will defend their ICWA World Tag Team championships in a Triple Threat match against the DOA and the MVC. Segment Rating: B Match Buddy Landel (w. Missy Hyatt) Vs Rick Martel Match Rating: C+ Rick Martel and Buddy Landel have a solid bout that concludes when Rick Martel gets the Boston Crab locked in for a submission victory. When we find ourselves in the dressing room of Doug Gilbert, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Elizabeth and Mr. Hughes. It seems Carlos Cabrera and our camera man arrived just before we came back from break. Carlos informs Doug Gilbert that word came down just moments ago from the top brass here in the ICWA that at Genesis Raven and Stevie Richards are being mandated to meet Doug Gilbert & Hacksaw Duggan in tag team action. If Raven and Stevie Richards fail to show up and compete, they’ll face indefinite suspensions and crippling fines. And furthermore, if any body should come to ringside on Raven’s behalf other than Lexi York – who is a licensed manager- they will be held to the same repercussions, plus Raven and Stevie Richards will also be indefinitely suspended and fined. Everybody seems happy until Carlos remarks, “It seems like Brother Brucie really came through on that favor you asked him for, Doug.” It becomes immediately obvious that Duggan and Elizabeth didn’t know Doug Gilbert went to Brother Brucie. Duggan begins hollering saying things like “Brother Brucie?! Come on Douggie, we can’t get in bed with a slimeball like Brother Brucie!” An annoyed Gilbert waves off Duggan and Elizabeth’s protests dismissively and says it’s just a one time favor. He needed somebody with enough clout to force Raven to show up and fight him. Things are tense in the Gilbert camp as we fade back to the ring. Segment Rating: C Cactus Jack makes his entrance and cuts a promo on Steve Austin, letting Austin Know that two weeks ago when Austin assumed Cactus Jack could be used a message to bait Terry Funk and there’d be no repercussions, Austin made the biggest mistake of his life. Austin hits the Demnta-Tron and tells Jack that all the sum-bitch needed to do was take his ass whippin’, stay dead and let the ol’ cowboy from Amarillo ride in to avenge his fallen protégé. But since Jack couldn’t do that, if Jack insists on coming after Austin, Austin will be glad to stomp a mudhole in his ass and walk it dry one more time. By the time it’s said and done, we get a BANG BANG and know that Austin Vs Jack will occur at Genesis. Segment Rating: B Match Ken Shamrock vs Kamala (w/ Brother Brucie) Match Rating C+ This match went longer than most would have probably anticipated and was much more of a back and forth ordeal than some have expected. In the end Ken Shamrock hit a belly to belly suplex and was about to put on the ankle lock when… … Cyrus came down and jumped on the apron. Shamrock let Kamala go and darted toward Cyrus. Cyrus jumped off the apron just before Shamrock could nail him. Shamrock and the ref both start hollering at Cyrus. Shamrock turns and is caught by surprise with a fireman’s carry into a Samoan Drop by Kamala. Kamala follows with the big splash, 1, 2, 3 Kamala wins thanks to the distraction from Cyrus. When we return it’s time for the contract signing, Burt Busch hosts the event in the ring. Piper comes down first and sits on the announce table side of the table that has been set up in the ring. Vader and Race come down next. Standard contract signing. Harley says a few words about Vader destroying Piper and becoming the first ICWA Champion. Piper gives a fiery impassioned promo about all the things he’s done, but how he’s never been World Champion… Until now. Until Genesis where he’ll finally have the big belt around his waist. Things get heated, the table gets tossed and Burt gets out of dodge. We go off the air with Piper and Vader nose to nose, ready to go. See ya at Genesis!

  5. Yep. I actually ran these shows a month or two ago, but didn't write the Diary spot. So I'm trying to remember from looking at the show results in TEW what I had in mind when workers A, B and C were in a B Rated Freestyle Angle lol.
  6. ICWA Demented: Jan Week 3, 1996 (Episode 015) ICWA Demented Live Tuesday January Wk 3, 1996 From the Florida Sunshine Pavillion After the intro video to White Zombie’s “More Human Than Human – Meet Bambi in the King’s Harem Mix,” we find ourselves at the ICWA Banner backstage where Rich Landrum is standing beside Harley Race and Vader. Landrum interviews Race and Vader asking about Vader’s match tonight with Tatanka, as well as his up coming tournament final/World Title match up against Roddy Piper at ICWA Genesis live at ICWA’s inaugural Pay Per View even, ICWA Genesis. In typical Race/Vader fashion, they make it clear that they have every intention of destroying everything put in front of Vader and becoming the very first ICWA World’s Heavyweight Champion. Segment Rating: B In the ring Jackie Fulton is already standing, adjusting his knee pads. From behind the curtain Hercules Hernandez makes his entrance with Gary Hart. The bell sounds and Hercules begins batting Fulton around like a cat batting at a mouse. After a fairly one sided series of slams and presses and such, Hercules puts Fulton in the Torture Rack and he flails about in immediate surrender. At Gary Hart’s demand, Hercules keeps Jackie Fulton in the rack after the bell. He doesn’t maintain the rack long however as... ...Road Warrior Hawk darts down. Hercules seems him in time to drop Fulton, but before he can do anything further Hawk clotheslines him down. Herc bounces back up and darts toward Hawk with a clothesline of his own but Hawk ducks and darts to the ropes… He bounces back and takes Herc off his feet with a flying shoulder tackle. Herc comes back up and tries yet again to clothesline Hawk, but Hawk ducks allowing Herc to miss and nearly hit the top rope. Herc turns and Hawk is right there with a hard clothesline of his own sending Hercules up and over the top rope to the ringside floor as the crowd goes wild. The Barbarian darts down as Hercules gets to his feet, ready to lunge back in for round two, however Gary Hart keeps Barbarian and Hercules at bay. Whatever Gary Hart has planned for Hawk, now is evidently not the time. Segment Rating: B- After break Gary does a backstage promo with Larry Matysik saying that clearly they didn’t beat Hawk badly enough last week. Hawk barges into the interview with security close enough that everyone gets separated. Hawk challenges Barb and Herc. Hart says him and what army? There’s nobody left in the business that’d be stupid enough to stand beside Hawk while he’s standing in front of certain death. Hawk says let him worry about that. We in essence have a tag team match on the books for Genesis as Hercules & The Barbarian (w/ Gary Hart) will meet Road Warrior Hawk and a mystery partner. Segment Rating: B- Tag Team Match The Canadian Glamour Boys (Sean Morely & Shane Sewell) Vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Doug Gilbert (w/ Elizabeth & Mr. Hughes) Doug Gilbert is clearly not happy that another week has come by and he still hasn’t gotten a match with Raven. Gilbert and Hacksaw make short work of the Canadian Glamour Boys. Match Rating: C- Gilbert continues putting the boots to the Canadian Glamour Boys as Elizabeth tries to get her man to stop. Before she can, however, Mr. Hughes grabs her and yanks her violently by the arm. Hacksaw is starting to try and pull Gilbert back, when he notices Elizabeth essentially being manhandled by Hughes. Duggan leaves Gilbert and heads over to Hughes, giving Hughes a stiff shove. Hughes shoves back, and now Gilbert finds himself switching from the guy needing restraining to the guy doing the restraining as he gets between Duggan and Hughes, pulling Duggan back. They all exchange some words, but everybody eventually begins toward the back. As Burt Busch points out to us, there appears to be some dissension amongst the ranks of camp Gilbert. Segment Rating: C+ In the back we see Raven with Lexi York, Stevie Richards and Maniac Manson taking in the events that just transpired on the monitor. Raven remains un-telling in his emotionless expression, but Lexi York smirks every so slightly as she rubs his chest and we head to commercial. Segment Rating: B One on One Rick Martel Vs Snake Rick Martel made his ICWA debut in a very good back and forth bout with DOA’s Snake. Gone is the Model gimmick, and Martel seems as focused and determined to prove himself between the ropes as ever before. Martel looks good and the crowd seemed into it. Martel eventually found success with a flying crossbody that narrowly kept Snake’s shoulders down for the 3. Match Rating: C When we return from the commercial Burt Busch lets us know what happened during the break. We see Snake walking back through the curtain only to be jumped by Dr. Death and Terry Gordy. It doesn’t take long before Brian Lee and Cyrus show up to adjust the odds. As the brawl gets going the Steiners join the fray, and with them is Ken Shamrock to seemingly offset Cyrus. When we head back to the ring area Burt lets us know that security and police have been dispatched backstage to try and get it all separated, but he reminds us that sooner or later these teams will collide for the tag team titles and when they do it’s sure to be pure pandemonium. Segment Rating: C Match One On One Tatanka Vs Vader (w/ Harley Race) Vader and Tatanka had a good, solid bout. Tatanka did better than most against Vader, but never the less Vader was almost always in control. Vader put this one away in convincing fashion with the Vader bomb out of the corner. Match Rating: B- Backstage Carlos Cabrera interviews ICWA National Champion about his upcoming match with 2 Cold Scorpio, and his crusade to get Terry Funk in the ring. Austin disparages Funk as a coward and vows to get Funk to blow the dust off his cowboy boots long enough to come back and get put out permanently by Austin. Austin vows to use 2 Cold Scorpio as an example of what Funk has waiting for him if he ever decides to man up and confront Austin. Segment Rating: B+ Main Event ICWA National Heavyweight Championship 2 Cold Scorpio Vs Steve Austin Austin and 2 Cold have a very good back and forth contest for almost twenty minutes before Cactus Jack runs in and attacks Austin, inadvertently getting 2 Cold DQ’d. Match Rating: C+ Cactus continues the attack on Austin until Security and referees are able to get him off as Burt reminds us that Austin assaulted Jack previously in an effort to make an example to Funk. Burt reminds us that there’s only one Demented left before ICWA Genesis and it’s live right here next Tuesday night. We’ll have the official contract signing between Vader and Piper for the World Title match at Genesis, plus all of the final developments heading into ICWA’s inaugural Pay Per View event 11 days from now. We head off the air. Segment: B Rating Overall Show Rating: B -

  8. ICWA Demented: Jan Week 2, 1996 (Episode 014) Note: Some life commitments forced me to abandon my diary here for a few months. I am going to attempt to basically pick up where I left off. At the time of our last show, we had just aired the first week of TV in the year 1996 headlined by one of our two Semi Finals match ups to get to a World Title Match at ICWA’s Inaugural Pay Per View event Genesis to air on Wk 4 of January. In an effort to get to/through that Pay Per View so that I can get a little bit of a fresh start to go with my return to writing I’ll be posting very quick/short entries for the next couple of weeks of TV. I’ll get back into more thorough results and maybe start trying to do more non-show specific diary entries after the PPV. Opening Angle: After the introductory ICWA: Demented highlight reel to “More Human Than Human – Meet Bambi In The King’s Harem Mix” by White Zombie, we find ourselves at the commentary desk with an excited Burt Busch and Jesse Ventura. We show an advertising graphic for tonight’s Main Event of Ron Simmons Vs Vader (w/ Harley Race) to determine who will advance to the finals of the ICWA World Title Tournament to face Roddy Piper at ICWA Genesis on Pay Per View in two weeks. From that we go to the parking lot where we see Roddy Piper entering the arena. Our commentators assure us that nobody will be watching our main event tonight any closer than the Hot Rod, Rowdy Roddy Piper. Angle W/ Piper, Simmons, Vader, Burt Busch & Jesse Ventura: B – Rating From Piper we head to the ring where our ring announcer introduces the two men already standing in the ring as local talents John Weiss & Charles Wright. He then introduces their opponents for this non-title exhibition match, the Miracle Violence Connection Terry Gordy & Dr. Death Steve Williams. Williams and Gordy make short work of Weiss and Wright and start doing the title belt taunt around their waist. As they do DOA members Snake and Brian Lee come onto the stage as if to symbolically stand between MVC and the Steiners as they shake their heads toward DOA and do the title taunt themselves indicating that they’re the next team in line for a shot. This doesn’t get violent but it is tense as the crowd can be heard chanting for the Steiners who we hear are representing the ICWA outside of the country tonight, but are surely aware that both of these big bruiser tag teams are on the hunt for their tag team titles. Angle w/ Brian Lee, Snake, Johnny Hotboddy, CW Anderson, Terry Gordy, Dr. Death & The Steiners (Off Screen): C Rating *Commercial Break* Match Jake Roberts Vs Road Warrior Hawk Gary Hart comes down and distracts the referee as Hercules runs in and cracks Hawk with that a big heavy chain. Roberts wins 1, 2, 3. Match Rating: B After the match Hercules and the Barbarian slide in and assault Hawk until eventually referees and security flood the ring. Gary Hart has not taken Hawk’s rejection of his invitation to join his stable very well. Angle w/ Barbarian, Hawk, Gary Hart, and Hercules Hernandez: B- Rating *Commercial Break* As the introductions take place we’re reminded that this up coming match is the match we would have had as our main event tonight had Ron Simmons and Vader lost their quarter finals match ups to Cyrus and Cactus Jack. Match Cactus Jack Vs Cyrus Cyrus and Jack have a solid brawling bout until Steve Austin comes in and attacks Jack from behind with his National Heavyweight Title Belt drawing the DQ against Cyrus. Cyrus doesn’t seem to mind as he leaves and lets Austin have Jack. Austin gets a microphone and a chair and as he beats on a helpless Cactus Jack he does a promo calling out Terry Funk and accepting that Terry Funk had no reason to care about the guy Austin beat the Hell out of last week, but Jack’s supposed to be Funk’s protégé. And if Funk doesn’t care about Jack, then sooner or later Austin’s going to find somebody Funk does care about and Funk’s gonna bring his busted down broken ass back into this ring so that Austin can finally exterminate the Terry Funk parasite for good. Angle w/ Austin, Jack and Funk (off screen): B+ Rating *Commercial Break* When we return Larry Matysik interviews Vader and his manager Harley Race about their pending Semi Finals match up with Ron Simmons. Vader and Harley give the usual schtick about Vader destroying everything in his path and becoming the first ever ICWA World’s Heavyweight Champion. Angle: Larry Matysik, Vader, & Harley Race: B – Rating Match Tag Team The Eliminators Vs 2 Cold Scorpio & Tatanka 2 Cold and Tatanka go over in a C+ Rated match After the match we head backstage where Rich Landrum interviews Ron Simmons about his pending Semi Finals World Title Tournament main event match up with Vader. Ron’s ready to do whatever needs to be done to advance to the World Title match at Genesis. Angle w/ Rich Landrum, Ron Simmons and Vader (Off Screen): C Rating *Commercial break* When we return we see Roddy Piper standing in front of the monitor backstage as Burt Busch and Jesse Ventura reminds us that whomever wins this upcoming bout will meet Piper in two weeks on our very first PPV Event to determine the very first ICWA World’s Heavyweight Champion. Main Event ICWA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semi Finals Vader (w/Harley Race) Vs Ron Simmons Vader and Ron Simmons went for nearly 20 minutes in a grueling bout that saw a lot of hard hitting and action both in the ring and on the floor. At one point in the ring Vader goes to deliver a crossbody, and Simmons “catches” him and takes him over in a powerslam. It is executed pretty sloppily and becomes immediately evident that something has gone awry. Vader kicks out of a two count and Simmons grabs at his leg exchanging words with the referee. The Referee says something to inaudible to Vader who drives a hard boot into the head of Simmons making him lay back. Vader drags Ron a couple of feet so that Vader can climb up and hit the Vader Bomb splash for the 1, 2, 3. Match Rating: B Burt Busch, “And just like that, the match has been set! Vader has advanced to the Finals of the ICWA World’s Heavyweight Championship Tournament! Ron Simmons gave it a Hell of a fight… And folks, I think Ron Simmons is seriously hurt here..” Vader gets up and begins stomping around as the crowd boos. We can see trainers and agents on the ringside floor communicating with Ron Simmons in the background who is tucked away on the may in the back corner. Back on the stage the curtain moves and out emerges… Burt Busch, “The match has been set! Two weeks from now LIVE at the OnCenter War Memorial in Syracuse New York we will see the man they call Vader go one on one with the Hot Rod Rowdy Roddy Piper and one of those two men will emerge as the very first ICWA World’s Heavyweight Champion! And they will do it LIVE on Pay Per View! Folks if you have not already pre-ordered ICWA Genesis… If you’ve not already bought your ticket for the OnCenter War Memorial in Syracuse… You do not want to wait another moment! This is going to be HUUUUUUUUUUUGE, wrestling fans, I mean HUUUUUUUUUUGE! Jesse Ventura, “Roddy Piper and Vader?! You want to talk about a fight?! These are two men who will fight till the death, and that just may be what it takes when they collide at Genesis, Burt Busch!” Burt Busch, “From the MassMutual Center in Springfield Massachusetts, Good Night Everybody!” Show Rating: B

We just wrapped up a house show in Sacramento, and the folks were hot tonight! Speaking of hot shows, this past week’s Demented was our highest rated show since we took the air in October! Our very first show was a 7.7. Last Tuesday night we broke the 9 point barrier for the very first time drawing a 9.33 TV Rating with our Sell Out show from the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs Iowa! Don’t get me wrong, we’re still in our infancy and there’s still a lot of work to do. I recognize that this could all be over tomorrow, and I’m not going to start doing any victory dances or anything. But I think it’s almost as important to rejoice in the wins as it is to learn from the defeats. Which is why a bunch of the boys are meeting up tonight at the Hotel bar and we’re gonna ring in the New Year in a big-big way courtesy of Bruce and I. We’ll try and expense It to News Corp, but I’m not going to worry about how that works out. I may regret that when I get my credit card bill next month, but that’s what we call a “tomorrow problem.” In other news, Shawn Michaels’ contract just came up for negotiations. Burt tried to send out feelers, and Shawn was less than receptive. He said we were too small, and unproven. It’s true we don’t have the global reach of the WWF yet, but I’m happy with our progress. We’re building an audience in Australia and parts of Europe, and we’ll continue to try and expand elsewhere. We’re going to Puerto Rico for the first time ever for a week-long tour week after next. Anyway… Truthfully, Michaels is a bit of a headache. He’s one of the finest performers I’ve ever seen, but there’s a lot of baggage attached to that, and frankly I’ve got enough headaches. I mean don’t get me wrong, most of my guys are great, but we’ve got some pains. Truthfully, I was actually more excited when I found out Don Harris was available to negotiate. I really encouraged Burt to try and get Don over. I know I don’t need to further expand the DOA, but he’d have been a great addition. And it also would have left us the option to have a member of the current DOA break off and try a babyface run down the road, without leaving a gap in the stable. Not that I have any interest in messing with the DOA, I love what we have going there. I had to have a pretty firm conversation with Cyrus about his promo on Tuesday, but even still, I always felt he had more in him than we got to see during the Crush schtick in New York, and so far I feel like he’s proving me right. Brian Lee and Bryan Clarke are really clicking as a tag team. Amy Lee and Woman are doing great in their rolls. I love the way DOA is working out. Next week we’re going to show case a revamped look. So small changes, and the addition of big screen so that the live audience can see our backstage promos and vignettes. And Bruce about has me talked into trying to expand some of the things we do backstage instead of just doing traditional interviews with occasional attacks. We’ll have to see. When I was in New York there was this magazine writer up there who mentioned to me this idea of “Crash TV” once. I remember he said “It’d be the greatest thing bro.” I don’t know about that, but his point that it might be time to evolve the formula we as an industry stick to always resonated a bit with me, and evidently with Bruce as well. Well, anyway, I better wash up and get down to the bar before Bruce thinks I’m trying to get out of my share of the tab. Here’s to 1996, may it be the year of the ICWA!

  13. ICWA Demented: Dec Week 4, 1995 (Episode 012) The theme song and highlight video for ICWA Demented plays us into the new wrestling program taking the world by storm, ICWA Demented. The theme song continues as we go from the video to a sweep of the fans in the Mid-American Center in Iowa. We eventually find our way to the ring where Burt Busch is standing with a microphone in hand. Burt Busch, “Welcome everybody to ICWA Demented LIVE on FX, And emanating from the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa!” The crowd cheers. Burt Busch, “Last week kicked off the quarterfinals of the ICWA World Heavyweight Championship tournament, and what a night it was! We saw both Rowdy Roddy Piper and Tully Blanchard advance to the Semifinals as Kamala and Terry Funk were both eliminated. Tonight those quarterfinals match ups continue, and will conclude with our big time main event featuring my guest at this time. So without further ado, please welcome the former ICWA National champion, and my guest… Cactus Jack!” “Symphony Of Destruction” by Megadeth takes over the PA. The crowd cheers as from behind the curtain he emerges… Jesse Ventura, “Cactus Jack heading down to the ring to talk with Burt Busch. Like Burt was saying, the quarterfinals of the ICWA World Heavyweight Championship tournament are underway. Last week Roddy Piper and Tully Blanchard advanced to the semifinals. This week our last remaining quarterfinals bouts will take place as Cyrus goes one on one with Ron Simmons, and Cactus Jack takes on Vader. And if you missed Demented last week, let me tell you that Terry Funk did not take being eliminated from this tournament well. He saw this tournament as his last chance to get back to the mountain top and when he realized he’d been pinned by Tully Blanchard… Well, take a look.” The screen switches to a replay of Tully on his knees with his head down after being eliminated from the tournament. We see Cactus Jack and Ron Simmons in the ring trying to encourage Terry Funk, only for Terry to seemingly ignore them and leave the ring, not acknowledging the fans chants of “TER-RY, TER-RY” and not looking back at the ring where his friends Cactus and Ron stood unsure what to do. By the time that replay from last week wraps up, Cactus Jack is in the ring beside Burt Busch. “Symphony of Destruction” begins to fade. Burt Busch, “Cactus Jack, it’s been a rocky month or so for you here in the International Championship Wrestling Association. You beat Sabu to become the National Champion, only to turn around and have that title taken from you by Steve Austin after a heinous assault backstage by Vader. You tried valiantly to recapture the National Title in an excellent return match with Steve Austin that really was anybody’s match to win up until the final bell. And then last week you had to watch as your friend and mentor, Terry Funk, was eliminated from the world title tournament and left completely dejected. Tonight, however, you have the opportunity to begin to turn it all around as you go one on one with the man they call Vader to advance from the quarterfinals to the semifinals of the ICWA World’s Heavyweight Championship Tournament. In addition to advancing to the semifinals, this contest will also provide an opportunity to settle a bit of lingering bad blood with Vader from a whole host of issues including his contribution to your lost ICWA National Championship several weeks ago, and even going all the way back to the match in Germany in 1994 where that very man… The man they call Vader…. Took the very ear from your head. Cactus Jack, what say you?” Cactus Jack, “Hmm… That’s quite a bit to unpack there Burt. You’re right when you say that it’s been a “rocky” month for ol’ Cactus Jack. And you’re right, that it wasn’t a pleasant experience watching Terry Funk go through what he went through last week.” Burt Busch interjects, “Cactus, have you talked with Terry since last week?” Cactus Jack, “No I haven’t, and at the risk of sounding a little selfish, I can’t worry about that now. My primary concern is becoming the ICWA World’s Heavyweight Champion, and that only happens by beating Vader here tonight. So as much as I’d like to help my old friend Terry Funk out, I’ve got to be focused on the task at hand. Now you mentioned that I have a bit of a past with Vader, and that’s true, I do. And you’re right, tonight’s tournament match will be the most personal match I’ve had in this tournament. But as much as I’d like to exact my revenge on Vader… As much as I’d like to split Vader open and spill his blood all over Iowa… I’m not going to.” The crowd boos as Cactus Jack quickly responds, “Nobody is more disappointed to hear me say those words than I am. But as much as I hate Vader -and I do, I hate Vader with every fiber of my being-… As much as I’d like to do all sorts of things that are too vile and dark to mention on TV, our match tonight is about something more important than all of that. Our match tonight is about the most prestigious prize in all of professional wrestling. Our match tonight is about becoming the ICWA World’s Heavyweight Champion. And so as much as I’d like to make this the match where I get years of pent up frustration out of my system, and we have a knock down, drag out, bloody brawl… I’m going to instead keep my cool, no matter how *cool* that may not seem. I’m going to stick to a strategy and I’m going to remain measured. And then, after this tournament is over and I have the ICWA World title… well, then I just may come back and have the bloody brawl with Vader that we’re long over due for. BANG! BANG!” Cactus fires off the finger guns as the crowd cheer. Burt Busch, “Certainly a very sound strategy Cactus Jac… OH SH…” The crowd begins booing loudly as seemingly from out of no where Vader slides in and nails Cactus Jack from behind with a steel chair making him drop to a knee. Burt Busch jumps out of the ring as Harley Race is at ringside yelling orders at Vader. Jesse Ventura, “Oh man, Burt almost got caught in the crossfire!” Cactus Jack pushes himself up to his feet but as he does Vader drives a hard forearm across the back of Jack’s neck making him jolt forward and stumble through the ropes, dropping down to the outside floor. We can hear the rustling of a head set in the background as well. Jesse Ventura, “Vader is taking it to Cactus Jack. Burt, what happened in there?” Burt Busch, “You saw it! Vader came in outta nowhere, and now he’s softening up Cactus Jack before their big world title tournament main event tonight!” Vader follows Cactus out to the floor as Cactus starts pushing himself up. Vader grabs Jack and blasts him hard with a couple of big right hands before grabbing him, and whipping him hard into the big black steel steps. Jack turns at the last second and collides with the steps back first. Before he can worry about the pain from the Collision Vader darts in and drives the force of his hip and thigh into the face and torso of Jack crushing Jack between the steel steps and Vader. Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Burt Busch, “Oh for the love-uh… Somebody has got to stop this!” Vader grabs two fist fulls of Jack’s hair and pulls him up to his feet. He pulls him out a couple of steps, then grabs the back of Jack’s pants and the back of his neck, spins and chucks him head first into the steel steps, the steps backing a resounding and echoing sound as Jack crumples to his chest and face. Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Burt Busch, “COME ON ALREADY!” Finally referees and Agents begin flooding the ringside area to back Vader off. “Das alte Leid” by Rammstein strikes the PA as Vader begins stepping back from Jack at Harley Race’s direction. Burt Busch, “They’re finally getting Vader out of here, but…. But the damage has been done.” Jesse Ventura, “Cactus Jack said he was going to keep measured during the main event tonight. Well I think Cactus was just as measured as you can get, and Vader’s got his number.” Burt Busch, “Vader has thrown his weight around here and done whatever he’s wanted to whomever he’s wanted since he got here. When does it end?! At what point do the powers that be finally decide that enough is enough and take serious punitive measures against Vader and his manager Harley Race?!” Jesse Ventura, “What do you want them to do Burt? I happen to know that they’ve fined him. We’ve seen him suspended from action. What more would you like from the quote “powers that be?” Burt Busch, “I don’t know, but something has to be done. Either fine ‘em more, or suspend ‘em longer, or here’s an idea, how about disqualifying Vader from advancing in this world title tournament.” Jesse Ventura, “Whoa, wait a minute Burt Busch… Vader is an elite competitor. If he’s not either beat legitimately in this tournament, or crowned champion at the end, how can anybody legitimately claim to be the very best in our sport? How can anybody legitimately claim to be the World’s Heavyweight Champion?” Burt Busch, “Well I know I’m supposed to be objective, but frankly, I hope Cactus Jack finds a way to be the man to legitimately beat Vader live right here tonight!” Jesse Ventura, “Yeah, well Cactus Jack is still on the floor, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up Burt.” {Cactus Jack Promo/Vader Ambush: B Rating} *Commercial Break* When we return we find ourselves on Burt Busch and Jesse Ventura seated at ringside. Burt Busch, “Folks, if you’re just joining us, we’re going to take you back to just a few moments ago before the break. I was in the ring conducting an interview with Cactus Jack, who will be competing in our main event tonight for the opportunity to advance to the semifinals of the ICWA World Title tournament… And his opponent tonight, the man they call Vader… Well he.. Well, you’ll see.” Burt walks us through the replay of Jack wrapping up his interview with Burt only to be assaulted by Vader from behind with a chair, knocked out of the ring to the floor, driven into the steps back first and then chucked head first into the steps as well. After that we come back to ringside where Burt Busch and Jesse Ventura are seated. Burt Busch, “During the break they were going to stretcher Cactus Jack out of here. Cactus Jack refused the stretcher and ended up walking to the back with the assistance of ICWA officials. I understand he is now back in the trainer’s room, refusing medical assistance. We’re going to keep you updated as this night continues.” Jesse Ventura, “What happens if Cactus Jack can’t compete tonight?” Burt Busch, “Well I imagine we’d delay the tournament match.” Jesse Ventura, “I don’t think so. I think if Cactus Jack can’t compete, that’s a forfeit and therefore Vader gets a bye to the next round.” Burt Busch, “Oh, to Hell with that! There’s no way that ought to be allowed! How in the world do you allow Vader to get a bye off of an injury that *he* caused in an unsanctioned situation such as the one we just witnessed?! That doesn’t make any damn sense!” Jesse Ventura, “Hey, I’m just telling you how I think it would work based on the rules of the tournament as I understand them.” Burt Busch, “Well it damn well better not work that way! Anyway… Cactus Jack and Vader is not the only quarterfinals match up set to take place here tonight. We also have Ron Simmons meeting the president and founder of the Disciples of Apocalypse. As I understand it Rich Landrum is standing by backstage to get some works from the former All-American from Florida State, Ron Simmons.” { Burt and Jesse Recap Vader Attacking Cactus Jack: C+ Rating} Rich Landrum, “Ron Simmons, what a start to Demented… Vader verses Cactus Jack now seemingly in jeopardy as a result of the vicious attack by Vader. That may have implications on the semifinals of this ICWA World’s Title tournament. That could affect your path to the ICWA World Title assuming that you can defeat Cyrus here tonight.” Ron Simmons, “You might be right. Whether it’s Jack or it’s Vader, it doesn’t matter. In a tournament like this you gotta take it one match at a time. The match I’m focused on at this time is the one later tonight with Cyrus. Now Cyrus, I’ve said about everything I’ve got to say about you. I don’t like you, I don’t like your little bicycle club gang, and I don’t like that skank-ass hoe you travel around with. I’ve been wanting to shut you up since the very first night we met on FX, and tonight I get that opportunity. There’s nothing left to say. I’ll let what happens between the bells tonight do the rest of the talking for me.” Rich Landrum, “Fair enough. Burt and Jesse, back to you at ringside.” {Ron Simmons Promo: C- Rating} As the entrances for the next match begin, Burt Busch says, “Well folks, we have got a big time announcement for you… Live on Saturday January 27th, we are going to have our very first Pay Per View Event!” Jesse Ventura, “What?! The ICWA’s going to Pay Per View?!” Burt Busch, “Absolutely we are Jesse. We will eminate live from the On Center War Memorial in Syracuse New York for ICWA: Genesis. And it will be just that, our Genesis on Pay Per View.” Jesse Ventura, “Good ‘ol Syracuse!” Burt Busch, “That’s right! Tickets are already on sale. We already had a live event planned for January 27th in Syracuse, but now that event has become a Pay Per View and folks, if you’re in the Syracuse area and you haven’t gotten tickets already, go as soon as you can to the On Center War Memorial Box Office, or to your nearest Ticket Master ticket vendor.” Jesse Ventura, “ICWA: Genesis live on Pay Per View on January 27th, 1996! What an announcement, and what an incredible way to ring in the new year!” Burt Busch, “Absolutely!” Opening Match One on One Maniac Manson Vs Road Warrior Hawk Referee: Dick Worhle Road Agent: Les Thatcher {In a decent match, Road Warrior Hawk defeated Maniac Manson in 10:04 by pinfall with a Flying Lariat. C+ Rating} Burt Busch, “And Road Warrior Hawk with a strong win over Maniac Manson. At this time we’re gonna take ya back to Larry Matysik who is standing by with the entire Disciples of Apocalypse organization. Larry, take it away.” Larry Matysik, “Thank you Burt. I am indeed joined by the entirety of the D.O.A. Two very big matches coming up back to back for the D.O.A. First, Brian Lee and Snake will meet the Miracle Violence Connection in an effort to determine a definitive number one contending team for the ICWA World Tag Team championships, and of course Cyrus will meet Ron Simmons in the quarterfinals of the ICWA World title tournament. Let us start with you Brian Lee and Snake… You had a tag team title bout last week against the Steiners, but the Miracle Violence Connection crashed the party before a winning team could emerge.” Brian Lee, “Yeah, they crashed the party… Gordy and Doc… In another life I think we could have been friends. But this is this life, and in this life we’re gonna connect you with so much violence it’ll be a miracle if you ever wrestle again!” Snake, “You messed up when you stuck your noses in D.O.A. business! If you’re lucky the worst thing that happens to you tonight is that you lose. But we already know you’re not lucky, because if you were you wouldn’t have to stand across from us in the first place!” Larry Matysik, “Cyrus, right after this tag team match is your quarterfinals match up with Ron Simmons. As of present the quarterfinals contest with Vader and Cactus Jack seems to be questionable at best, so if you advance tonight it’s hard telling what you’ll be advancing to.” Cyrus, “I don’t give a damn about Vader and Cactus Jack. They can both advance, or neither one of ‘em can advance. Either way, I’ll demolish those bridges when I get to ‘em. Tonight’s victim is Ron Simmons. Ron Simmons has had some pretty tough words lately. Tough words for my Woman, tough words for the D.O.A. Well here are some words for Ron Simmons; I’m gonna break your f***ing face!” Rich’s eyes get as wide as saucers as the DOA starts walking off. Burt Busch, “We apologize for that. Sometimes when you’re live… Well… nevertheless, we’re very sorry for Cyrus’ remarks.” {DOA Promo: C Rating} *Commercial Break* When we return Carlos Cabrera is standing outside of a door marked “Trainer’s Room.” Carlos Cabrera, “Welcome back to Demented. I am standing here outside of the trainer’s room in an effort to remain updated on the condition of Cactus Jack. Cactus Jack won’t speak with us, but I have been told that he’s been very uncooperative with our trainers. I have also been told that he’s vehement about still competing here tonight against Vader, and from the sounds of things -at least at this junctior- it does not appear he’ll be restrained from doing so. If I hear anything further, I’ll update everybody accordingly. Burt and Jesse, back to you.” Burt Busch, “Cactus Jack insisting on continuing tonight…” Jesse Ventura, “As I recall, it seems to me that that’s exactly how Cactus Jack ended up losing the National Championship. He was too stupid to admit he was hurt and arrange to fight another day.” Burt Busch, “It’s not a matter of intelligence, it’s a matter of pride. It’s a matter of being a man. It’s a matter of…” Jesse Ventura, “It’s a matter of stupidity. Period.” {Carlos Reports on Cactus Jack: D+ Rating} Before the DOA or MVC make their entrances for the next match, “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns n Roses hits and The Steiner Brothers come down and join Burt Busch at ringside as Ventura gives up his headset. Match Tag Team DOA Vs MVC Special Guest Commentators: The Steiner Brothers Referee: Mark Curtis Road Agent: Nick Bockwinkle {n a decent match, DOA - Brian Lee & Snake drew with Miracle Violence Connection in 10:27 when the match descended into chaos after Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner became involved. Match Rating: C -} Burt Busch, “Well, it didn’t take long for this thing to break down, and once again we’re left without a winner as all six of these men are once again engaged in a pier six brawl! And by the way, a pier six brawl might very well describe our next match as Cyrus and Ron Simmons face off in the first of our last two ICWA World Championship Tournament quarterfinal match ups tonight. That one’s gonna take place when we come back!” *Commercial Break* When we return we see a shot of Vader, Harley Race, Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll huddled around a monitor. We then show separately Roddy Piper sitting in front of another monitor. Burt Busch, "Most of the remaining participants in the ICWA World Title Tournament are watching to see who advances in this upcoming quarterfinals macth up." Jesse Ventura, "Yeah, but notice who isn't there Burt... Cactus Jack." Burt Busch, "Cactus Jack as far as I know is still back in the trainers room, although Carlos Cabrera has yet to be able to get a word with him." {Tournament Monitor Huddle: B Rating} Match ICWA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: Quarterfinals One on One Ron Simmons Vs Cyrus Referee: Tim White Road Agent: Sgt. Slaughter {In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Ron Simmons defeated Cyrus. in 16:20 by pinfall with a Dominator. Match Rating: C+} *Commercial Break* When we return we see the replay of Tully Blanchard pinning Terry Funk, thus eliminating him from the ICWA World’s Heavyweight Title tournament. We see Cactus and Ron Simmons trying to encourage Funk, and we see Funk walk out with his head down. We then see it rewind, and we re-watch Terry walking up the aisle with his head down. We see it rewind, and we start to watch Terry leaving again, but this time as we do we slowly pull back and realize we’re watching a TV set with a VCR on top of it. As we continue to pan out see Steve Austin sitting in a steel chair with the VCR remote in hand. As Austin sits there, his championship belt over his shoulder, his ICWA Genesis T Shirt and blue jeans on, he hits pause and leans up, placing the remote on top of the VCR before leaning back again. Steve Austin, “Ya know, no matter how often I watch Terry Funk getting his hopes dashed and his dreams shattered, I can’t help but want to watch it again. The fact of the matter is, Terry Funk, you spent several weeks getting off on sticking your nose in my business. You wanta come running to the rescues when your buddy Cactus Jack is getting his ass whipped? You want to sit out during my match and pretend you’re just there to give some color commentary? Well maybe Terry Funk, you should have been worrying a little less about me, and worrying a little more about preparing for your own matches.” Austin snickers. Steve Austin, “I’m gonna make something real clear to ya son… You are one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Ain’t no disputin’ that. But you’re also a parasite on this sport. You go draggin’ your feet up that aisle with your head down and your little feelings hurt because this was supposed to be your one last shot at greatness; Your one last shot at being the World’s Heavyweight Champion. Well boo-gah-damn-hoo. While you’re moping around, actin’ like a lil bitch, guys like me have never had a shot because guys like you won’t get the Hell outta the way. Well Terry Funk, I know you went back to Amarillo with your tail tucked between your legs, but the problem is I know full damn well your ass is gonna end up coming back.” Austin sighs and shakes his head. Steve Austin, “Ya see, sooner or later you’re gonna stop feelin’ sorry for yourself, and you’re gonna ride back into the ICWA and decide it’s time for one more “last shot” at the top. It’s time for one more “One more time.” And I know that what’s gonna happen is that somebody like me is gonna get bumped aside so that you can tell your tail of one last shot at the top yet again. Well EH-EH! Not on my watch son! I’m gonna nip this lil’ comeback in the bud before it ever happens.” Steve Austin continues, “So Terry Funk, I’m not looking to wait around for you to go through all seven stages of grief and then hem and haw and debate on whether or not you’re gonna come back. We both know sooner or later, you’re gonna come back, so one way or another, we’re gonna make it sooner. And if it helps motivate your ass, I’ll even put up the ICWA National Championship. That’s right, I’ll put my title belt on the line, because it’s worth it to me so that I can finish the job that Tully started and put your ass out for good! So when we get to LA next Tuesday night, I expect to see you there Terry. And if I don’t, somebody’s gonna damn well wish you had been. And that’s the bottom line!” We slowly fade from Austin’s eyes burning a hole through the screen, back to the ring. {Austin Promo: B Rating} Burt Busch, “Man-oh-man… What words from National Champion Steve Austin.” Jesse Ventura, “He calls it how he sees it, and that’s my kinda guy Burt.” “Up All Night” by Slaughter hits the PA as the crowd begins to cheer. Burt Busch, “And here we go… Doug Gilbert and Hacksaw Jim Duggan are finally going to get their hands on Raven and the Flock. Here they come… Oh and wait a second, what is this?” Doug Gilbert, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Elizabeth all emerge. But with them is… Burt Busch, “The World’s Most Dangerous Man, Ken Shamrock, is on his way to the ring with Gilbert, Duggan and Elizabeth.” Jesse Ventura, “Well you know last week Gilbert wouldn’t let Elizabeth come to ringside with him and Duggan out of fear of what the Flock might do. I see Elizabeth is back with them this week, I wonder if they didn’t illicit Ken Shamrock’s services to watch Elizabeth’s back and keep her safe at ringside.” Burt Busch, “Oh… Well that’d certainly make good sense. I know I’d sure feel safe if I had Ken Shamrock watching my back.” Jesse Ventura, “Absolutely Burt.” Burt Busch, “Speaking of, it looks like Kenny’s heading this way.” We show Burt Bush and Jesse Ventura standing up at the commentary table as Ken Shamrock walks over. They all shake hands as Shamrock then begins putting on the extra headset. Burt Busch, “Ken Shamrock, welcome to the commentary table. What brings ya to ringside tonight?” Ken Shamrock, “Doug Gilbert asked me to come out here and watch Elizabeth’s back in case Raven or the Flock tries anything. But Elizabeth made me promise not to smother her, so I figure I’ll come over here and hang out with you guys where I can keep a clear eye on everything, but I can also give Liz her space.” With that “Come As You Are,” by Nirvana hits the PA. The crowd begins to boo, and those boos grow even louder when Axl Rotten and The Blue Meanie are the only Flock members to emerge from behind the curtain. Burt Busch, “Oh what is this? Now I was told that tonight we were gonna see Raven and Stevie Richards take on Jim Duggan and Doug Gilbert…” Jesse Ventura, “Are you sure about that Burt? Because all I heard was that Duggan and Gilbert would be in action against Raven’s Flock, and Axl Rotten and the Blue Meanie are certainly a part of Raven’s Flock.” Burt Busch, “Sooner or later, Raven has got to be forced to step up and meet Doug Gilbert in this ring. Whether it be in a tag team match with one of his Flock against Gilbert and Duggan, or one on one with Gilbert. But one way or another, Gilbert deserves the opportunity to make Raven answer for his vile actions against Elizabeth.” Ken Shamrock, “I agree a hundred percent. I’d rip Raven limb from limb if he’d ever laid a hand on anybody I cared about.” Match Tag Team Jim Duggan & Doug Gilbert (w/ Elizabeth) Vs Raven’s Flock Referee: Scrappy McGowan Road Agent: Kevin Von Erich During commentary Ken Shamrock talks about his falling out with Taz, and his beef with Dan Severn and Konnan. {In a poor match, Doug Gilbert and Jim Duggan defeated Axl Rotten and The Blue Meanie in 6:13 when Doug Gilbert defeated The Blue Meanie by pinfall with a Michinoku Driver. In terms of in-ring work, Jim Duggan was head and shoulders above everyone else. D+ Match Rating} “Up All Night” by Slaughter retakes the PA as Doug Gilbert looks into the camera and says, “RAVEN! You’re gonna run out of lackies sooner or later, and when you do it’s gonna be just me and you! Stop ducking me! Grab your number one stooge and face Hacksaw and I like men, you coward!” We fade from that to the backstage area where Harley Race and Vader are standing in front of the ICWA Banner by themselves. Harley Race, “Cactus Jack, the time has com…” Before Race can finish that sentence we hear a loud CRAAACK across Vader’s back. Burt Busch, “OH!” Burt Busch, “Cactus Jack! Cactus Jack is evening the score!” Vader stumbles and turns and as he does Jack wraps Vader right across the head with the chair making Vader stumble and drop to a knee. Jack rushes in and starts driving hard rights and lefts into Vader’s dome. As Jack is going off on Vader, the area floods with referees, agents, and security to pull them apart. Jesse Ventura, “This isn’t fair Burt! Vader is about to have a world tournament match!” Burt Busch, “That didn’t stop Vader from assaulting Cactus Jack earlier tonight. The way I see it, Cactus is just evening up the odds a bit.” Jesse Ventura, “What?! That’s ludicrious Burt Busch, and you know it! Cactus had almost two hours to recover! Vader’s got less than five minutes!” Burt Busch, “I guess Vader shouldn’t have started something he couldn’t finish!” Jesse Ventura, “Who says Vader can’t finish it?!” Burt Busch, “I reckon we’ll find out because when we come back it is finally time. Cactus Jack. Vader. ICWA World’s Heavyweight Title Tournament Match up. NEXT!” {Vader Promo / Cactus Jack attack: B Rating} *Commercial Break* When we return we once again see Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll standing in front of a monitor. We also see Roddy Piper seated in front of a monitor, but now he's joined by Ron Simmons who has showered and changed into his street clothes. Burt Busch, “Everybody is watching intently to see what happens in this final quarterfinals match up. Who will be the final entrant into the ICWA World Heavyweight Title Tournament Semifinals? We’re about to find out.” {Tournament Monitor Huddle: B – Rating} “Symphony of Destruction” by Megadeth blasts over the PA as the crowd begins to cheer, and the main event entrances get underway. Main Event ICWA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: Quarterfinals One on One Cactus Jack Vs Vader (w/ Harley Race) Referee: Tommy Young Road Agent: Harley Race or Rick Steamboat Match Summary: Before Vader was ever even able to get in the ring, Cactus jumped out and began fighting him on the floor, making Burt Busch exclaim: “AND HERE WE GO!” Cactus Jack and Vader spent much of this match outside the ring brawling. Jack being whipped into the steps knees first, Vader trying to crush Jack against the steel post only for Jack to move at the last moment and let Vader hit the post instead. When they were in the ring, it remained primarily a brawl. Lots of fists going back and forth. Vader didn’t come off his feet often, and when he did it was because of one of his own offensive maneuvers going awry, or because of his leg being attacked. He was never just bumped to the mat. At one point the referee was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got clobbered. While the referee was still down the action spilled back out to the floor where Cactus Jack grabbed a chair and clobbered Vader’s knee dropping him down to one knee. He then clobbered Vader over the head not once, not twice, but three times finally making Vader drop flat on the concrete. This allowed Jack the opportunity to get up on the apron with the chair and do the flying elbow/chair drop off the ring to the outside floor. When they finally got back into the ring, Jack went for the double arm DDT on Vader, but Vader’s arms broke free and he shoved Jack back. Jack stumbles back and turned at the ropes just in time to eat a chair over the head from Harley Race. Jack stumbled backwards and turned into a scoop slam from Vader. Followed by a second rope Vader Bomb Splash. The ref was back with it and able to count the 1, 2, 3. {In an exceptional match, Vader defeated Cactus Jack in 15:28 by pinfall. Match Rating: B } “Das alte Leid” by Rammstein hits the PA as Tommy Young raises Vader’s hand in victory Burt Busch, “Oh Man…. What a fight these two men just had!” Jesse Ventura, “A fight that has propelled the man they call Vader to the Semifinals where he will now meet the All American from Florida State, Ron Simmons!” Burt Busch, “That’s gonna be a marble buster if I ever did see one. Unfortunately Cactus Jack just couldn’t overcome the two on one advantage here of Harley Race and Vader…” Jesse Ventura, “Two on one advantage? Cactus Jack couldn’t overcome the superior competitor, Vader!” Burt Busch, “Well I assure you, this will not be Cactus Jack’s final foray into the World Title picture, nor do I suspect it will be his final fight with Vader. As time dwindles down here on thus post-Christmas edition of ICWA Demented, I want to remind everybody that tickets are on sale for the OnCenter War Memorial in Syracuse New York, the site of ICWA’s very first Pay Per View event, ICWA Genesis on Saturday January 27th, 1996. They are going fast, so you’re gonna want to get on those if you’re in the Syracuse area. We know that Genesis will lay host to the finals of the ICWA World’s Heavyweight Title Tournament. That’s right, the very first ICWA World’s Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at Genesis. The question is, who will that champion be? As of present it could be one of four men. We will narrow that number down next week when Rowdy Roddy Piper goes one on one with Tully Blanchard to kick off the ICWA World Title Tournament Semifinals. Either way folks, the next time Jesse and I see ya it’ll be 1996. Thank you all so much for allowing us to embark on this great journey with you over the last few months. 1995 has been amazing, I can’t even begin to imagine what 1996 will have in store. I can’t wait to see you all once again in the new year. For Jesse Ventura and the rest of the ICWA Family, from the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, I’m Burt Busch saying Good Night, and Happy New Year Everybody!” Show Rating: B
  14. Merry Christmas To the ICWA A Change In The Landscape Merry Christmas To The ICWA Written from the perspective of Tim White A lot has happened since Thanksgiving. Burt got me to sign off on a few more talents from the opposition. I won’t get into everybody we’ve signed, but I will tell you that three of our most recent talents all came from WCW. Mike Rotunda, Rick Martel, and Larry Zybzko. Burt and I discussed the prospect of reaching out to Col Robert Parker and Dan Spivey as we were made aware that they were both nearing the end of their contracts, and were willing to negotiate. Burt spoke briefly with Spivey and said that Spivey wanted a reduced schedule. Bruce and I really don’t have anything that calls specifically for Spivey, so Burt and I agreed to pass on Spivey. WWF didn’t elect to renew his deal either, so as I understand it he’s sitting home for the time being. We have managers on contract right now that we don’t have anything for, so Burt and I agreed to pass on Parker as well. I just heard he’s resigned with WCW, so I’m glad to hear he was able to keep work. Burt did stumble across a female when he liked recently named Joanie something or other. She’s got an interesting look. I approved a developmental deal for her. We’re having a Hell of a time finding women who can work. I was hoping that bringing in Madusa would allow us to really put together a solid Women’s division but I’m quickly realizing that the talent pool of women who can work at Madusa’s level is pretty slim. Hmm… What else has happened… Oh, Terry Funk got injured by Vader again. I don’t know what the deal is with those two. As far as I’m aware they get along just fine. Thankfully it was a small injury. A Bruised buttocks. I pulled Funk from house shows and he was okay by this past Demented. Which is great because he and Tully had a fantastic match. Terry was a possibility to win the whole tournament right up until about an hour before show time Tuesday. In the end, we agreed that Terry’s already gotten hurt twice in this tournament, we couldn’t afford to risk that he get’s hurt before the finals, or perhaps worse yet, get’s hurt during the finals or immediately thereafter. Nevertheless, Terry and Tully had a fantastic main event on Demented. I’ve been really pleased with Tully’s workrate since coming into the ICWA. I originally hired him to be an occasional competitor. But I have to admit that I’m starting to think he very well could be a top star. He’s always been linked to a stable or a tag team, but now that it’s just him and Baby Doll… I’m definitely reevaluating my plans for Tully. Speaking of plans, I met with Nolan Davis yesterday before heading back to Providence for Christmas. I may have buried the lead a bit but uh…. It finally happened. I got Nolan on board for Pay Per View! Not only did I get him on board for Pay Per View, but Nolan put me on the spot to give him the pitch of our first pay per view to take place at the end of January so he could get the marketing team on top of promotional materials and such for the Pay Per View. Being put on the spot I just blurted out “Genesis”. The beginning of Pay Per View. I’m going to restructure the World Title Tournament so that the crowning of the first champion falls on Pay Per View. I also have some other blow offs I think I can stretch to the Pay Per View. I haven’t told anybody else yet. I’m going to wait till next Tuesday when we come together for Demented after Christmas. It’ll be my belated Christmas present to everybody. I know all the boys’ll be excited. They’ve all been busting their asses to get this thing off the ground, and it’ll be good share with them that we’ve made it another rung up the ladder. Anyway folks, it’s exciting times here in the ICWA. I hope everybody has a happy holiday season, a Merry Christmas, and we’ll catch you on Demented December 26th.
