1. It was better then i thought it was going to be.....i wish they would have hyped it up a little more atleast had her goat roxie into it on tv before the match. I hope she is not gone

It was a solid match and I doubt that Roxxi will be gone. I mean one could argue that she never even finished here statement to agree to the stip in the first place.

  2. Heyman coming in would be great imo. Could be just what they need if they let him do his thing with the roster they have. I mean you could argue TNA has a much better overall roster than ECW had at any point and he worked magic than with wrestlers no one really wanted any more until Heyman got a hold of them. So Heyman could be awesome.

And I agree with Sullivan not being an ideal choice. All I know though is they need someone with a vision of what TNA should be and some one that will be able to give us sensible storylines that flow instead of jump all over the place into a jumbled mess. Maybe Heyman could be that guy if he is indeed the surprise.

    The Rock

That's who I was getting at with being the impossible lone signing that would be huge. Lol.

Batista wouldn't be that big imo. I don't think he'd bring anything to the table that Christian, Angle, etc. haven't already brought.

  3. Also could be a major signing seeing as Spike sometimes helps foot the bill for very expensive ones.

Who at this point could be considered a major signing though? I think the only true major signing is nearly impossible or maybe even completely impossible. I'm guessing its TV related. Actually thinking of ordering the PPV this time, looks to have a good card and Sting vs. RVD could be a good main event.

  4. You get your wish!

Why has Sting avoided all the same **** his contemporaries have gotten for sticking around in the spot light too long?

I think its because we usually get Sting in small doses instead of every segment like some. We usally see him lurking and hardly on screen all the time. Plus he's awesome!!! But that's just me.

  5. True. But as everyone knows, just because something is unpredictable, doesn't mean it's good. And it wasn't good. Sure it wasn't bad either...but it failed. As for the money from whom question, that's obvious, money from THEM! They lost their own money, or the ability to make it grow on a long term basis.

And you know this as fact how?

  6. Stop looking at wrestling as if it's trying to be kayfabe. The stories are most often kayfabe. But the spots aren't. The spots are there to increase your entertainment. The stories there to make you care. Just because they set up a ladder and a table on top of the cage doesn't take away from it.

Story issues? Fine, they should explain everything. But having a ladder on top of a cage? Is that really so much different than a sledge hammer being under the ring? Or a barbed wire baseball bat being under the ring?

If you need everything explained spot-wise, then how can you enjoy matches at all? They are nothing like real fights. Why would someone go on the top rope, do a little dance, and then do a big flippy-de-doo in a real fight? If you can accept that, I ask you to accept ladders magically appearing on top of cages.

You'll enjoy wrestling a lot more this way.

I never said I needed it explained, its Jeff Hardy, something like that was going to happen. I just don't like it looking so planned out, atleast try to make it look spontaneous (sp?) is all I'm saying. I was entertained by that, I even said that in a way. Just didn't like the way it was executed is all.

I am still stunned that the faces won the advantage for the match. How do you possibly screw up as something as simple as "the bad guys win the advantage to draw sympathy for the faces"!? It's suppose to be fool proof.

Agree with this completely. The faces are supposed to be at the disadvantage, its booking 101. Of course with Sting taking out Hardy I guess they still were.

Besides that was probably the highlight of the whole cluster of a match. Decent PPV for the most part and was actually surprised by the Beautiful People victory to be honest.

  7. What a junk main event. Hardy's spot was crazy but looked way too planned, a spot for the table to sit and the ladder modded to sit on the cage, laughable. Still like the heel Sting though, wish we'd see more of him on TV to be honest, of course him being my fav all time I'm biased.

Angle and Anderson definitely stole the show. Great match and nice end to the feud.

  8. Doug Williams will win it right back in the next month.

That intro video was hellacool. That's one thing Bischoff always does well.

Yea he will probably win the belt back but its really really stupid to strip the belt from him because of something he can't control. If he no showed on purpose would be one thing but this... just dumb.

  9. I got to be up at 5am tomorrow and my Twins are playing on the west coast. :( Damn 9:05 start time.

I'm in the same boat as you. Only going to catch maybe the first hour before I gotta get to bed to get up at 5 am. Hate when they play on the west coast.

Not a very strong PPV at all imo. Kinda regretting ordering it, could of picked it up on DVD later for less than I payed tonight and enjoyed the Ulimate X match more than once.

  11.

I know alotta people hate him, but Angle's feud with Anderson has been the best 1 on 1 feud TNA has had in ages.

I agree with this mostly, it has been a good feud. Probably the only consisent feud they've had since Hogan and Bischoff took over. Pretty good match and the feud looks far from over.

  12. I for one didn't mind the debut of RVD. He gets a quick squash over Sting, to my knowledge I don't think they have ever crossed paths in a ring before. Sting destroys him with the black bat and TNA may finally have successfully turned Sting into a full fledged heel. No one has really managed that before. So RVD saves face for his victory while TNA gets Sting over a bad guy.
  13. Has Hardy done anything since returning? All I've seen him do is climb and sit on the cage when he redebuted in Jan.

No, but I think TNA are waiting on his Trial before featuring him on television. Which is smart considering he may be facing jail time but I'm not sure positive about the jail time. Still his association with Shannon Moore is what makes Moore an attractive talent to TNA as it helps keep Hardy happy with one of his best friends (Moore) around. Of course is depends on Hardy's drug trial.

Awesome comment from Taz about 4:20. Wonder who that could be?;)

  14. Well that was what was rumored at the time the short part is the main part.

BTW one of my Q's and Bischoff's answer made headlines on PWI and 411! I was the one who asked if the ppv buyrates where up. There was more to the Q but still Yeay! lolz.

I think the more interesting answer was what would of happened if WCW had been the one buying WWF. Not say Bischoff would of followed through with his answer but he definately had a good answer.

I also find it interesting that Bischoff would take John Cena, Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho from WWE if he had the chance. Even though he claims Jericho can't Main Event.

  15. I prefered koshi as the muta gimmick. I am a mutta mark so who knows.......I think koshi is a good wrestler but needs something more then the world elite which seams dead now by the way. I think the suicide gimmick is going to be intresting.......I guess the company will put people under it to just give them something to do. I wonder if they will ever have mutlipte people under the mask at the same time.....There is no rule that the same person has to do it all the time.

I agree with alden on Kiyoshi going back to being Muta's protege so to speak and them pushing that fact and yes they'd need a manager. Muta had one in his NWA/WCW run where he went without getting pinned for however long it was. He was awesome, I'm not sure Kiyoshi could be that, haven't seen enough of him to be sure but I would atleast like to see it tried.

And being under the Suicide Mask is indeed a great way to keep a talent that has nothing going on busy.

Oh, I like Cappy's idea about the triple threat match between Kazarian, Daniels, and whoever is Suicide now. Heck throw in Homicide since he was suppose to know who Suicide was at one point.
