I know he was having high profile feuds with AJ and Joe over the X Division title when that belt meant just as much as the WHC, but it's just a shame he's the only one of the three not to win the big one.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I agree man, there was a time when all of them (Joe, Daniels and AJ) were hot, their fued over the X Title made that belt mean something. </p><p> </p><p> Daniels is and has always been through his stops in TNA been a consistant talent and was (as Bad Influence) one of the hot and over talents on the roster, He absolutly could have been an over and entertaining champion for the company. </p><p> </p><p> It's a shame that when the three were still riding the wave of overness that Hogan came in with all his oldies and Daniels ended up getting fed to Morely in a less than memorable feud...</p>

<p>Sorry for double post but no one has posted since my last post. </p><p> </p><p> Watched the first half of Impact, had to stop for the night midway through the Bully Ray - Roode Brawl. </p><p> </p><p> Must say I don't hate what they've done with the Title situation, I do feel its a little too early to be building tension between Abyss and Magnus, but interjecting E.Y I don't hate... Never been a huge fan of E.Y but the past year or so guy has been growning on me and now I'm a convert, don't feel he's ready to actually win the title, but at this point TNA have very few over babyface main eventers and E.Y is undeniably over with the fans, be perfect for a couple of matches with Magnus.</p><p> </p><p> Also TNA need to find a new home.... the "fans" in attendance do nothing for them, during the UK tour and the televised impacts we brits we loud, back in america the people in attendance seem dead. they need to find a new home with actual wrestling fans...</p>

I like what was said about Magnus not cheating because he has to but because he wants to. I rememeber hearing a long time ago (think it was on the ROH Secrets of the ring series with Raven) That a heel should always cheat, the face should always look like the better wrestler and the heel should always look crafty and cheat to gain the upper hand. When you have a dude like Magnus who is more than capable in the ring I think that plays perfectly and would be an ideal way for Magnus to get actual heat and not just having the crowd shout paper champion at him, He already has great mic skills and we all know British make fantastic villians (hollywood has known this for years) All he needs to do is keep coming out in his suits, cutting those promo's in his smarmy British accent and say something along the lines of " I don't need to cheat to beat "insert wrestler here" but I do it because at the end of the day I'm the smartest man in this ring... the smartest man in this company and the smartest man to hold this belt" Easily then sets up several believable scenarios where both faces and heels alike can try to dethrone him simply to prove they are able to outsmart the smartest... Think Bobby Roode coming down and claiming that he held the title for the longest in history and that he was and still is smarter than Magnus... For Magnus to be viewed as credible the chase needs to be credible, They had rumblings of what I was saying with his Joe feud, Claiming Joe's anger would get the better of him and thus Magnus claiming he would use that against him suggests Magnus thought he could outsmart Joe, They just need to let Magnus run with that ball

I'd possibly argue as well that it does nothing for the babyface either... I mean where is the pay off for Joe? if he fueds with Abyss and ends up beating him cleanly then yeah thats perfect and Joe gets a little bit of overness back and looks better but if Joe is just shunted to the back of the line not only does the booking make Magnus look weak as a champion because he can't beat anyone cleanly (or on his own merit) but also makes his challenger and the authority figures look weak because they can't negate the Abyss factory or Roode or the army of heels. And also delv213 dunno if you can think who main event wise they have left for Magnus? Gunner is fueding with Storm, as is Bully Ray with Roode, so one would imagine they are out... Joe has lost twice, AJ and Sting are gone, Angle is injured and one would think he will go after EC3 on returning. Williow... just no, uh uh, please for all that is holy TNA don't... Anyone else?

Even this past week, Magnus himself couldn't cheat to win. He needed to have Abyss involved to throw a chair at Joe's head in order to get the tainted finish. Just once, I'd like Magnus to be involved in the finish completely.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Agree Completely, I really like Magnus as the champ but do agree the booking of him has shown him as more of a World Champ by fluke, He won it because Spud shoved Jeff off the ladder, he beat AJ due to a load of interference and Bobby Roode, he beat Sting in similar fashion, beat Gunner thanks in a large part to Storm, beat Joe twice due to Abyss... </p><p> </p><p> I'd love to see Magnus be forced to defeat someone on his own Merit... perhaps M.V.P booking the old "if anyone interferes on Magnus' behalf he looses the title" </p><p> </p><p> When I'm booking TEW I usually avoid interference unless I have a good cause for it (manager distraction, or a rival interfering or if its going to build to a bigger picture.) </p><p> </p><p> Sometimes thats what I see as TNA's only flaw. they overbook for the sake of it. </p><p> </p><p> Magnus honestly doesn't need anyone to help his brand, Guy can cut a good promo and can easily carry himself in the ring he doesn't need Abyss or various heels running in.</p>

<p>Can't really put my finger on what it is but really digging TNA at the moment, It's been alot of fun the past few months...</p><p> </p><p> Maybe its because I live in the UK without Sky and its the only wrestling I get, Or maybe its the fact that despite never really being into wrestling ever my wife is onto it and digging the product... (she's become a huge Magnus fan and also really likes Aries and Roode) </p><p> </p><p> Heck, I've even gone from having an intense hate of the Bromans to actually finding them very entertaining. </p><p> </p><p> Also really digging the international flavour at the moment, Tigre Uno is fantastic, like a little rubber ball shot out a cannon. </p><p> </p><p> Sure I'll agree there are maybe alot of things they have done wrong this year, but I'm invested in their product enough to look past the flaws.</p>

Is this story line going to make Bryan any less over? Answer: No. Is this story line going to keep him busy? Yup Basically as far as I can see its basic wrestling 101, You want to get guys over, put them with the hottest comodity on the show which at the moment is Daniel Bryan, few weeks ago before TLC did he not derail an entire segment for a period due to the fans chanting his name... Also I agree with the previous, its hardly burying him when he is in the main event of the show instead of the champion, smells to me like WWE are building the show round Bryan. Just cos he's not the champ is in no way damaging to him and I see this whole programme with the Wyatts as benifit to them, They get some overness and heat from working with Bryan. Also why would you even wish they get X-Pac heat? Bray Wyatt is one of the most interesting gimmicks to hit wrestling in a long time, He could easily be the Raven for a new age... If they do get X-Pac heat then what will you jump on here and say WWE screwed the opertunity with Wyatt and they aren't making new stars? Rest my case.

No you buy it to watch wrestling and part of wrestling is titles being defended every month.</p>

I think one of 2 things now needs to happen, either Roode needs to start interfering in Storms matches and cost him the BFG series or Storm wins and goes to face Aries and Roode interferes costing Storm the title. gives them a reason to continue feuding and lets Aries have a decent run with the belt.

I'd imagine at this stage the ppv will have been scripted, would they have enough time to change it? i'd say things wont likely change till the next set of tapings?

anyone know anything about the up coming Big Bang PPV think its in april. Cornette was hyping it on the latest who's slammin who and said it will be watchable world wide online i wouldn't mind seeing it. Thanks in advance
