PPV quality matches on TV again for AEW. I love that they seemed to have put on a show of this quality specifically because they were in LA and felt they needed to impress the crowd. I always think wrestling is better when the booker is focussed on selling tickets and sending people home happy. Complacency is a killer in this business.

Whether they need her or not is debatable. But she's brings her fanbase with her. NJPW World got a nice bump in subscribers just because she cut a promo and the Battle in the Valley sold its remaining (very expensive) tickets with her announced. These companies are very keen to do business with her. Tony Khan signs big name free agents even when you could argue he doesn't need them. Even if she only has a contract with NJPW/Stardom TK will be trying to get her loaned to him as much as possible.

I wonder if Mercedes Monet doesn't have any actual contract with AEW and they are relying on her being traded for NJPW in exchange for people like Omega and anyone else that might show up in New Japan. If I were NJPW/Stardom I would want some exclusivity or at least first dibs considering the money (Monet) they're reportedly paying her. I might not want her working a non NJPW/Stardom show before she'd made her in ring debut for me. Also if I was Tony and I had a limited number of dates I'd want her working on PPV. My Prediction is she's on Dynamite but doesn't work a match at least until after the Valley show.

My champions and vague plans for the titles AEW World Jon Moxley. Currently trying to get MJF and Hangman over to the point they can hold it AEW Womens Kairi Hojo. Toni Storm will be getting it back soon after a win over Davina Rose will put her above Kairi. AEW TBS Ruby Soho. Just had her and Britt trade the belt, Most of my womens division started as Unimportant so they're all having to trade wins and give each other a leg up. Sorry Jade Cargill the author of this mod has made you useless to me. AEW Tag Lucha Bros. They were getting nice and over despite not having an amazing win/loss record. So belting them up seemed sensible. Previous champions FTR will play gate keepers to the titles AEW Trios Omega and The Bucks. They just beat Adam Cole and reDragon but I think I can have them drop the belts to them at All Out. They've gone through almost every stable so they have to drop it fairly soon. AEW All Atlantic Miro. Seems a good spot for him, its becoming a beefy brawler title with guys like Claudio, Eddie Kingston and Samoa Joe in the mix AEW TNT Adam Cole. Wardlow was hovering around Unimportant and couldn't really carry it. He is doing better now and close to being able to get it back. I realise that I'm telling the same story of guy loses title and wins it back a few months later but it works. Using one of TheWho87's mods so everyone starts at a pretty low rating. I used to complain about such things but it forces me to actually think about who is in which spot and what segment ratings they'll likely produce. Actually playing the game rather than just fantasy booking. But the moment I went to medium size half my roster became incapable of holding a segment.
