I liked how a fuller body shot changed how I looked at Sammy Bach so I think I'm going to try in the future to do more of those, even if you can't really use it in game, because it definitely gives more character to wrestlers than just the headshot. Take these American Cobras for example, the medium body shot tells you way more about them

These renders are still okay, but I have some that come out much too dark, skin colour is a bit tan, but they come out dark.

 

I use the TEW lights from the Render project pack.

In the past, when I rendered 3dLight, I used J TEW Default 5, but deleted DistantLight 4 and 5.

Now I am using J TEW Default 1C and J WMMA 1, so I am going to look for new lights.

 

Ah ok, I haven't figured out how to use a regular light set up with Iray so I use the HDRI for lighting

 

And yes, turn Dome to off to get rid of backgrounds but it looks like you might have already figured that one out

I think your lighting looks great. Iray is a little tough to get the hang of. I use the Incandescent Portrait light set. I change the blur to Mitchell and set the pixel radius to 1.0. I also change the render quality to 5.0

That Black Eagle and your free workers are great cooldude. The lighting and shading are getting better and better. One of them kinda has a Sonny Kiss vibe. Nice work!

I've been trying to play some historical converted mods and I agree, the Japanese companies end up signing workers to exclusive contracts instead of PPA and it really messes up the game

This is your best one yet! Having the eyes squint or close a little take away the "dead eyes" look. This has some personality and the lighting isn't as harsh. Keep going man!

I redid Aristocrat a little to give him a little more bulk and changed him to a more formal tux so he looks like a wrestler more. I felt like he looked like a manager in the last one. But I'll leave both up in case someone likes one or the other (or wants to use it for someone else)

Fantastic work as always! Random question for anyone, is anyone able to put a pink boa on this Powell like one of his alts have? This is a much better render but it just feels like he is missing something...but maybe it's just me who loves that alt haha

[TEW 2020 Small Questions Thread]

I didn't know if I'm just overlooking it but is there still a way in the game to designate a promotion using the wrestlers' names as a tag team instead of one of the generated names or has that been removed?

 

For Example, the AI calling a team Cattley & The Architect instead of Subbacultcha (if they were a newly formed team during the gamer)

 

I never got an answer on this so I just wanted to make sure it didn't get missed. I wasn't able to find anything in the manual about it.

Yeah I originally made that one for Foxxy (the one Adam assigned to Black Diamond) so that's exactly what I did too Black Diamond feels more like a Big Swole, fitness body positive babyface to me. I use Foxxy in more of a Jackie Brown type role (as her namesake)
