  1. I have questions about Alliances and Championships.
    How does the AI handle retired titles?
    I know that these titles "exist" even though they don't show up on the title board.
    Do they actually try to activate/deactivate these championships or are they "locked" in their retired section forever?

    I also have another question: let's say I want to set an alliance title as an annual tournament at a particular show.
    How would the AI react?
    Would there be loans so that all the companies in the alliance could take part in the tournament/show, or would it just run the tournament with all the participants from the company hosting the tournament?

  2. As always, small things missing or suggestions.

    I went out of my way and added some suggestions for others regions, list isn't full of course, but it's already a good start :

    • The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship is owned by NJPW. It should be overseen by the National Wrestling Alliance. Tiger Mask is the title holder.
    • The NWA World Women's Championship is missing. It should be overseen by the National Wrestling Alliance. The Fabulous Moolah is the title holder.
    • New Japan Pro Wrestling should be in the National Wrestling Alliance.
    • All Japan Pro Wrestling should be in the National Wrestling Alliance.
    • Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre should be in the National Wrestling Alliance.
    • Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre should have a Small Women's Division.
    • WWA has the wrong logo : this is the World Wrestling All-Stars' logo.
    • WWA's End of the Month Show was set as annual when is should be Monthly.
    • WWA's End of the Month Show is at the start of the Month.
    • Joint Promotions & All Star Wrestling should have an hostile attitude.
    • AJPW's Champion Carnival should be their season finale.
    • PPW's logo is still missing (I think that you know about that one).
    • 3 of the 4 CWA Tour are set as Inactive (I don't know if it was intended or not).
    • I would suggest to put PNW Special: Anniversary Show to be their season finale, as I'm guessing this is the 60th Anniversary Extravaganza Show.
    • The 2 WWF Special events in South West are not active.
    • CSW Wrestling at the Chase doesn't have a TV deal.
    • Wrestling at the Chase is set as a St. Louis branded Show when there are no wrestlers or official assigned to the brand.
    • Bob Roop should have a Hatred of Robert Fuller & Ron Fuller.
    • Ron Fuller should have a Strong Dislike of Ronnie Garvin, Bob Orton Jr. & Boris Malenko.
    • Robert Fuller should have Party Animal.
    • All AJW's Title pictures, except for the WWWA World Title, are wrong.
    • ECWA opening date is in 1994 when it should be in 1967 (not mandatory, imo as they were really a minor/backyard promotion until the 90s).
    • ECW opening date is May 1992 when it should be April 1992.
    • Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling has the wrong logo, this is JWP Project's logo.
    • ECW has the wrong logo from the time period.
    • It is not mandatory but I would highly recommend to add gender restrictions to all the titles. It's not impossible that the AI gives the titles to women if they are for both genders.
    • Atsushi Onita's weight should be lowered down to Lightweight so that he doesn't cause an error.
    • Atsushi Onita's Minimum Age as a booker and owner should be 31.

    That's what I got from a quick glance at it, thanks for the mod and hard work!

    Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t really even look at the titles to be honest and just thought that they were all accurate. I’ll have my work cut out for me there.

    Pictures are going to be a work in progress, I’ll make the adjustments that I can.

    You seem very knowledgeable about the world in 1983. Feel free to help if you want! I’ll take a stab at your list on Monday.

    It's okay to be confused about title histories, especially before the 90s, as a lot of them are either lost to time or not documented.
    The USA & Japan are pretty well documented regions compared to Mexico or UK/Europe in my opinion.
    A lot of it was basic research really along with other things I have documented for the day I would make my own mod from scratch.
    I just need to free up some time and stop being lazy, really 😅.
    I'll try to give you some feedback whenever I have the time. Especially if you're going to release other regions.
    Good luck & thank you for your hard work on the mod!

  4. Here's a couple of things that I saw either missing or that I would suggest :

    • Brian Dixon should have "Wrestling in the Blood" and should be loyal (True Born even) to his own promotion ;
    • Orig Williams should have "Desperado"
    • WWC Anniversary Show should be set as a season finale ;
    • WWC Caribbean Heavyweight Championship is missing, Abdullah the Butcher should be title holder ;

    That's almost everything I could find, went on a bigger scrub of the database that I wanted to, and there's a lot more that I might suggest especially when it comes to relationship and loyalty but that's a good start.

    Thanks for the mod and hard work!

  5. Hey, I'm glad to see that some of my suggestions/fixes made it into the mod!
    One small thing, the NWA Women's Title doesn't have a picture (or the background picture)!
    There might be a few small attributes missing that I could point out, but maybe we can leave that for another day. 😂
    Thanks for the update Mammoth, very inspiring work you have done with this mod.
    Might even motivate me to create a mod of my own one day!

  6. Hey, I'm glad you appreciated my feedback !

    Here's a couple of response for some of your feedback.

    This is by choice. Although it's very much playable now, I know a lot of people would still rather not have it activated - especially at the start of the data as Continental Wrestling Entertainment isn't yet active. Fortunately, each new game can be changed independently so should you, or anyone else, wish to have India active, then can do so.

    Fair point, I guess I will activate it in my save.

    As far as I'm aware, NEO Women's Pro-Wrestling was never a member of the NWA. Or, if they did, it was only ever in this infancy and didn't last long at all. They did however own the NWA Women's Pacific Championship which was defended alongside the NEO Single Championship which is why you might be thinking otherwise. It's why the title didn't go back to the NWA when NEO folded in 2010, and hasn't been seen since. If you have countering evidence, I'd be happy to change it. 👍

    Similarly, I don't believe IWA-Mid South was ever part of the NWA although they did work closely with them and their affiliates in the Mid West. They would often run shows together and even shared the NWA Midwest Women's and IWA-Mid South Women's Championships at some point, but they were always run under joint banners rather than just an NWA banner. It's like IWA-Mid South was too extreme to be an official member but drew in a regular enough audience that the affiliates around the same area couldn't ignore them.

    I believe New Japan Pro-Wrestling was briefly reaffiliated with the NWA in the late-2000s to the early-2010s, but I don't believe they were reaffiliated at the start of 2006 because I can't find anything that states otherwise. I know they were working closely with TNA at this point though (hence the relationship) so it could have almost been the gateway.

    NEO :

    Hmm 🤔
    I don't think the NWA usually tried to get back the title that had the NWA name on it unless it was a major title, someone that crossed the organisation or if some of their members wanted to use the same title.

    CMLL used their title for a long time after they left and would have if Blue Demon Jr. hadn't created all the drama around it.

    And ZERO1 would only have one title today 😂.

    Here's a screenshot from the list of NWA territories on Wikipedia showing NEO's tenure and a quote from the Japanese NWA page on the same site.

    image.png.63571d491e8d777f1821a5ae13dba07e.png

    Quote

    2000年にはNEO女子プロレスが加盟して、NWAパシフィック女子&NEO認定シングル王座を創設している。

    "In 2000, NEO Women's Pro Wrestling joined the organisation and created the NWA Pacific Women's & NEO Certified Singles Championship".

    I'll give it to you though, there's no source on either page.

    Either way, it's your call.

    Fair point for the IWA Mid-South.

    As for NJPW,

    Quote

    "Meanwhile, after the collapse of ZERO-ONE, Simon Kelly Inoki, then a director of New Japan, joined the NWA and became associated with New Japan again, but after Simon's departure from New Japan and the formation of the IGF, New Japan withdrew from the NWA and the IGF joined instead.

    This is why the NWA World Junior title was defended quite often in NJPW and stopped after 2007.

    The quote is from the Japanese NWA page.

    Technically no other source, so it's your call either way.

    Jim Duggan, Sting, Masanobu Fuchi and Great Kojika all have the "Wrestling in the Blood" attribute. I have added the "Desperado" attribute to Black Terry and Violent J.

    I can understand not adding Desperado to Duggan & Sting, but I really think Desperado should be added to Masanobu Fuchi and Great Kojika. WitB will only guarantee that they do not leave the business.

    They both still wrestle at least once a year at the age of 70 and 81 respectively.

    I agree with the rest of the explanations you gave me, thank you again for your work.

  7. Hey Mammoth, so I looked a bit at the data and this is the mistakes I found (or suggestions) so far :

    • India is inactive
    • Jim Duggan, Sting, Masanobu Fuchi, Great Kojika, Black Terry, Violent J need "Desperado"
    • A lot of wrestlers such as Abyss, Triple H & Shawn Michaels might need the Future Road Agent attribute, I'm not sure that adding "Agent of Epics" for example will guarentee them to be a road agent in the future
    • NEO Women's Pro-Wrestling, IWA Mid-South should be an NWA Alliance Member ;
    • NJPW should also be a member of the NWA Alliance as Simon Kelly Inoki actually rejoined the alliance until his departure from the company. The exact month/year is unknown but it was between the start of ZERO1-MAX and of course, his departure from the promotion.
      It all depends on you though as you might need to rebalance the game. Especially if NJPW overtakes TNA.
      Maybe add the TNA titles and set them as retired? The AI should reactivate the title as soon as they aren't the N°1 Promotion in the alliance.
    • Hiroshi Tanahashi needs some business skill and minimum age of 47.
    • Akitoshi Saito, Kenta Kobashi should be loyal to NOAH
    • Can we have the NWA World Women's Championship in the NWA since we have women wrestling in the alliance ?
    • An alliance should be englobing the Mexican National Championships and including both Mexican promotions because of how the title were used at that time (still are quite honestly)
    • Can't play Comedy should be removed on Akira Tozawa
    • Stalker Ichikawa should have Definitive Style & Easy to do business with
    • Aja Kong should have Money Motivated
    • IWA Mid-South schedule doesn't look to be set properly
    • New Jack should have Unpredictable
    • Rossy Ogawa needs Booking Skills
    • Violent J needs Can't Stay Away, Loves the Business
    • Robbie Brookside needs Deep Roots
    • Zack Sabre Jr. needs Definitive Style
    • TNA has two Season Finale, Bound for Glory should be the only one
    • NJPW doesn't have a Tokyo Dome Show : NJPW Toukon Shidou Chapter 1 should be active as a special event, and then Wrestle Kingdom from 2007 onwards, they should both be set as season finale
    • CMLL Aniversario should be a season finale
    • CMLL Torneo Gran Alternativa title should be set to the CMLL Torneo Gran Alternativa show
    • King of Gate Tournament Title should be set to the DG King of the Gate show
    • ZERO1-Max Fire Festival should be the season finale
    • NEO Mid-Summer Tag Tournament title should be set to the NEO Mid-Summer Tag Tournament show
    • The IPW:UK has the picture of the 1PW World Title
    • IWA Historia Boricua should be IWA's Season Finale
    • JCW Gathering of the Juggalos should be their Season Finale
    • IWC Super Indy : Would it be wiser to just do Annual Tournament & Title retained after victory rather than create another title just for the tournament?
    • XICW has two season finale
    • Malcolm Monroe Sr. Memorial Cup Title should be to the XICW Malcolm Monroe Sr. Memorial Cup show
    • NWA UK Hardcore Lottery should be assigned to the NWA UK Hardcore Lottery show
    • NWA UK King of the Ring hould be assigned to the NWA UK King of the Ring show

    That's all for me from a couple of glances around the mod.
    Once again I want to thank you for the mod that you gave to us, there's a lot of detail and time sank into it and it shows.

    They started running shows in Feb of 92 under the NWA banner (although I don't know how much influence the NWA actually had). ECW technically weren't even open in January but with discussions years ago it was decided it would be easier to have them stay open in January on the data so their roster resembled what it did in February.

    Fair enough. But in that case, would it be wiser to add them to the NWA Alliance, as they will be associated with them in the future?

    One of my wrestlers got the "Bully" attribute from out of nowhere. Doesn't have it in the database so it must've happened organically, but I can't see any news about it when clicking "News" on her profile page, was thinking if she did something on social media or something. Don't see any new disliked people either. No incidents in my company (only one she's working for) and she's got great morale. Backstage rating 100% and she's not friends with any of the very four negative influences. Any way I can see how this happened?

    Have you seen if that worker had a "Worker Bad Personality Change" in the narrative?

  10. Hi,
    there's 3 errors that blocks the mod from starting correctly :

    • Kevin Kelly isn't signed to NJPW ;
    • Kevin Kelly isn't signed to NJoA ;
    • BURCHILL is set as left the business.

    Excluding this, there's also other issues :

    • BURCHILL doesn't have a picture along with 39 other workers;
    • The following promotions doesn't have a picture assigned : GAEA, OVW, WOW & XPW;
    • 143 titles doesn't have a picture.

    Thank you for you work.

    the NJPW and WWE ones are on purpose. WWF events go dormant and are replaced by WWE ones. NJPW, I wanted WrestleKingdom to show up in-name despite by butterfly effect rule so it shows up in 2005 while wrestling world will go dormant then.

    The rest are mistakes. Thanks!

    I just wanted to clarify this in case I wasn't clear enough or there was a misunderstanding somewhere.
    NJPW's WrestleKingdom & the WWE events are already active in the game (not set as dormant until revived in their respective years) and overlap with NJPW's Wrestling World & the WWF events.
    See the screenshot below.
    spacer.png

    spacer.png

    Normally setting them to dormant in the editor should fix the whole thing.
    (If you could also add a WWE Royal Rumble I would not be against it!)
    My apologies if I misinterpreted your message in any way!

    • Like 1
  12. WWF has two versions of each PPV excluding Royal Rumble. For example : WWF WrestleMania and WWE WrestleMania.
    NJPW has two finales on the same day : WrestleKingdom & Wrestling World.

    CMLL has 3 finales : Sin Piedad, Juicio Final & Leyenda de Plata.

    ZERO-ONE has 2 finales : Chu Festival & Epicenter Final.

    USA Pro has 2 finales : Anniversary Show & Now or Never.

    I'm guessing some are legitimate mistakes, and others events are meant to be activated later in the save.
