  1. This has nothing to do with tonight's show, but TracyBrooksFan how far in advance do you usually show up for the show?

I know when WCW was doing their tapings at MGM, they would beg people to come to the show.

Just wondering because I might want to go to a show down there sometime.

we got there around 1:30 but had VIP they let us in the impact zone at after 8:00.

Only reason we got there so early was to make sure we got our VIP tickets since they only handed out a certain amount.

  2. Mickie James, who's country music CD is set to be released shortly, underwent surgergical procedures Monday and earlier in an attempt to clear out a bad staph infection.

I haven't heard exactly where the infection is located but it was bad enough that doctors advised James to undergo surgery and she followed up with another procedure.

There is no timetable for her return to the ring

  3. I have to say I'm pretty entertained by heel McCool and I absolutely don't get most of the whining about her. McCool and Maryse are the only heel divas in the company that have any heat, so it's not really surprising to see them in the title pictures on their respective shows. And as far as the Piggie James thing being in bad taste, it's an angle that's getting Mickie more over than she's been in years, and actually has the babyface championing a positive body image while the heel looks like skeletor. Compare that to Molly Holly and Trish's feud where Trish made fun of Molly for having a big butt for some reason in an angle that left Molly worse off than when she started, and it's freaking Dostoevsky.

Mickie been over they was doing that angle to get McCool heat and it worked kind of she still not over. McCool to me is not entertaining and that why they always team her with another diva poor Layla she should turn and be able to go on her own.

  4. According to PWInsider.com, Chris Jericho and Gregory "Hurricane" Helms were arrested this morning in Kenton County, KY around 5 AM this morning by the Erlanger (KY) Police Department. Jericho and Helms were both charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place. Each of them were bonded out in a little more than an hour. Kenton County is close to Cincinnati, OH, where WWE taped Smackdown last night.

One person with knowledge of the jurisdiction sent word that they will probably be given a 50 dollar fine and it could have been a situation as innocent as an officer smelling alcohol on their breath.

  5. Diva Dirt has just received word that TNA Knockout, Alissa Flash — real name Melissa Anderson — has parted ways with TNA.

Anderson made her debut in January 2008 as Raisha Saeed, manager of Awesome Kong before debuting a second character, ‘The Future Legend’ Alissa Flash in July 2009. Saeed was written out in October last year and Anderson continued to compete as Flash until her departure.

During her time in the company, Alissa has competed in memorable matches with Sarita, Hamada, Awesome Kong and Tara.

For more on Alissa please visit her Twitter page and official website

  6. The replay did a 0.9 rating. Even taking into account people that watched it twice or thought it would be a new show (and decided to stick around) that is still a very good rating. If you ad say half on top of the 1.5 you get close to Smackdown ratings.

it a good replay rating and remember that it was on against BCS title game

A very special wedding day between 2 very special people. So much <3 in the air. Yup, I'm going to be a big girly mess!

  8. Credit: Bleacher Report, who broke the story on Jeff and Shannon signing with TNA yesterday

Two of my sources, one of which being the source that let me to inform Joe Burgett that Jeff Hardy and Shannon Moore had signed with TNA-(beating every other news outlet in the world mind you), have informed me that Shane Helms, better known as WWE's resident natural disaster, the Hurricane, has made an informal request for his release.

Helms has long wanted to form a tag team again, and joining Moore in TNA would allow him to do so. * Side-note-there have been zero Evan Karagias sightings, this is a very good thing.*

Helms could file an official request for a release as early as 8AM Eastern time tomorrow, and much like Tommy Dreamer would more than likely be granted his release.

One of the sources also dropped the much larger piece of news that Matt Hardy might want to join his brother Jeff and his friend(s) Shannon and potentially Shane Helms in TNA if the WWE would grant him his release.

Again, he could request it as early as 8AM Eastern time, but it's more likely that Matt Hardy would wait until after the Royal Rumble to do so.

Hardy has been adamant about being close to his brother Jeff, and the WWE may block a potential request fearing that once Jeff's year is up in TNA, they might try to reform the Hardyz in the 6 sided ring, rather than have him resign with the WWE.

Matt is scheduled to meet with agents after the Smackdown tapings tonight, and as I said, could be in a meeting tomorrow morning with Helms requesting his release to join Jeff in TNA.

When Joe and I broke the Jeff/Shannon news people thought it was a joke, but like that tid-bit, this is the real deal.

  9. Word is going around that last night's live 3-hour edition of TNA iMPACT! drew a 1.5 average cable rating for the entire show. At this time, ratings data is not available for the individual hours or quarter hours, but it will be released shortly.

WWE RAW did a 3.37 which is not good at all for Bret Hart's return. More shortly.

1.5 dont seem high but for TNA and on a monday its damn good and high

Let not forget TNA went head to head with the Fiesta Bowl
