    Hi all,

     

    Haven't really been active as a member on here for a while, but I've had a few private messages lately about my easy tournament program I made years ago (I want to say TEW05 time?)

     

    Anyways, it's a simple program that allows.you to run a tournament that determines the winner for you.

     

    It doesn't need Tew to run at all.

    Sorry to be a complete idiot, my old laptop died so i've had to re download everything, i've downloaded the jpg version of the RWC database, but i can't find the link to the jpg graphics pack, could someone please direct me to the right place?

     

    Sorry if it's obvious, i've tried to search through so many sites these past few days to set my new laptop up with everything that was on my old one!

    <p>Having trialled the demo various times, I think ultimately I'm going to wait for whenever the next edition is to be brought out and just stick with 2016.</p><p> </p><p>

    Still have plenty of life in my save game, and having seen some of the things brought up in the 2020 forum, it just doesn't entice me to buy it, at least in this current state <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

    I've tried to do a forum search but "contract" brings up loads of posts so hopefully someone can help with this.

     

    I'm currently the number 1 company in my game in popularity, importance, influence, finance, everything, I'm trying to steal 2 Japanese workers from my biggest rival (both companies based in the US)

     

    The problem i have is that when i go to offer contracts, they're offering contracts at 50k+ when my owner will only allow me to offer 34k maximum.

     

    Why is this? Surely as the biggest company in the world, with a flashy owner, i'd be able to compete with them properly? Even the numbers 3 and 4 companies are offering more than i can?

     

    Anyone have any advice on how i can improve my offers?

    I've had the demo since release, think ill wait until some rw mods come out as I can't decide if its the cv or the game itself that I'm not really enjoying.

     

    It seems a lot harder with the scrolling issues, and the screens all look way too busy, it reminds me a bit like football manager with the mass of new in depth features, the majority of which I will be honest and say I was looking forward to, but I just feel there is something missing thats making me want to leave my long term 2016 save, unlike when 2016 came out :(

    I tend to keep it, and I tend to make sure that I book at least 2 women's matches a show, however I've just bought out SHINE and made them into my women's development company so had a storyline where Rousey has had enough of not being treat equal to men and quit the company, along with the other females and took the title to SHINE.

     

    I was struggling with building new stars up as their talents werent up to scratch with those on the roster already and was growing bored of similar matches in order to keep my ratings strong

    My biggest draw that I've pushed in this game was probably PAC/Neville. Re hired him in February 2019, and by August he had become my most over worker and my WWE champion, has now held the title for 7 months and not sure who I could have him drop the belt to as his pop is so much higher than everyone elses.

     

    Best ever draw however would be D-Wreck, generated worker who started with 0 pop, had very little skillset but had awesome menace rating, put him in angles where he used that stat and ended up going to a world title goldberg style run before corrupted data ended his streak.

     

    Biggest flop would probably be James Storm, just can't get that guy over no matter how many times I try.

    WWE Championship</p><p>

    CM Punk has held the title since beating Cesaro, he's had tough challenges but will eventually drop the title to US Champion Neville at SurSer, Orton will cash in his MITB contract but lose as he was released due to several failed drugs tests.</p><p> </p><p>

    WWE US</p><p>

    Neville will put up his US title to get a WWE championship shot, once Necille wins, the SmackDown! After the PPV he will forfeit the title to his muscle, Rampage Brown.</p><p> </p><p>

    WWE Women's</p><p>

    Asuka cashed in her MITB against April Brooks a couple of months back, she's issued a challenge that the winning Women's Survivor Series team will get a 6 way title shot at Roadblock</p><p> </p><p>

    Eddie Guerrero Memorial</p><p>

    After Rey won last year's first ever trophy, the tournament returns, Chavo and Rey are both injured so cannot compete this year, unlike last year the contestants this time around don't hold any special relationship to Eddie, so the expected winner will be Ricochet.</p>

    <p>I started a promotion that uses a league system, 20 wrestlers, each face each other once and are ranked by points, top 2 face off for leagues title.</p><p> </p><p>

    I'm 4 years in and into my 10th season now, ranked 2nd in the world and started an alliance to help me bring in global stars when I was a smaller company. </p><p> </p><p>

    My current champions are:</p><p>

    GWL Champion: Marco Petrucci, has won nearly every season and is now my figurehead, he had a 100 defence reign with the belt at one point.</p><p> </p><p>

    GWL TV Champion: Katsuhiko Nakajima defeated Claudio Castagnoli to hold the company's secondary title.</p><p> </p><p>

    GWL Tag Team Champions: The Moody Two (Dullingham Hogans and Flamita) beat International Alliance members Adam Cole and Kota Ibushi to become 3 time champions.</p><p> </p><p>

    Alliance titles</p><p> </p><p>

    GWA Champion: Chris Jericho, 2 time champion, had to vacate his first reign as he won it days before touring, beat PCW's Mike Sydal for the title.</p><p> </p><p>

    GWA GeNex Champion: PCW's David Starr beat Katsuhiko Nakajima to hold the next generation title for the first time.</p><p> </p><p>

    <p>I managed to buy out a company of similar popularity to mine and pillaged some of their workers, title a and their TV shows (not sure why their TV but I did anyways) now I'm stuck with their show contracts that are left to run, is there any way of cancelling them other than tring to end the contract early as the companies won't accept my cancellation requests. </p><p> </p><p>

    If I'd have taken the time to check thingspoicf I'd have never taken the shows on board as I already have 2 I run per week!</p>

    Anyways, I'm looking to hire a worker who was involved in a race scandal 6 months ago in game, I'm being warned of the drawbacks so have yet to offer him a deal, he's ridiculously over though so I'm trying to weigh up the consequences. </p><p> </p><p>

    So my questions are,</p><p> </p><p>

    How big a consequence would there be for hiring him, and also how long does it take for him to no longer be considered as toxic? </p><p> </p><p>

    I can't seem to get it to work with anything but 32 man tournaments ... just fyi

    i haven't a clue why, if someone else could check this for me (i have a newer version on my laptop, no longer have the 101.exe so i can't check it) it would be greatly appreciated.

     

    Also, are you sure you're clicking the buttons/inputting workers into the boxes once they're enabled?

    Dang, I thought this might be what I was looking for! Unfortunately, that is not the case . . .

     

    I don't suppose it would be possible to code it to exact specifications? When I run a tournament, for instance, I want to have control over every aspect. I don't want to randomly determine a winner. I have plans, and sometimes I just want to have the bracket in front of me. Seeding is also a big thing for me, official tournament seeding, like this:

     

    1

    4

     

    3

    2

     

    That. What I'm looking for would allow me to enter the seeding order and then have the program arrange the brackets according to that exact specification. Then, I should be able to pick the winners in order. Lastly, it would be a neat bonus to be able to export it to HTML or something like that.

    seeding may be added, but not for a while, after i've done the 24 man version, i'm going to be adding in the 16 man jump, then after that, then i'll be making it so you can also select the winner of the match

     

    I'm also adding the export feature in once i have more or less everything done :)

    I noticed this does not show the level right after 32 guys

     

    i noticed it works like thias

    32-8-4-2-1

     

     

    I would like this alot more if it had been set up like this

     

    32-16-8-4-2-1

     

    that way it keeps track of all the matches

     

    At the moment, you can only have 32, 8, or 4 person tournaments (yes, i know the 32 man button says 16 :rolleyes:) at the moment, but i'm going to add in the option of a 16 man tournament

     

    the fact that i jumped from 32 to 8 was a massive accident, i didn't realise until i had started doing the hard coding, as it stands, i haven't made a single alteration to the 32>8 jump, that isn't because i won't, just because i'm doing the Auto Brand BETA (yeah, it won't be finished by tomorrow :() and i'm coding the 24 man tournament so it can end in a 3 way final.

     

    But don't worry, i will do the 32>16>8 drops, purely because i know how vital the missing matches are if you're doing a 32 man tournament.

    in regarss to round robin, i have only heard it through Pro Evolution Soccer, so i assumed it was knockout tournament.

     

    Leagues are more associated with Football, over here we have way too many leagues with League in the name :D

    maybe we should look into doing a joint program together? i, honestly, have a limited knowledge of VB, well, programmign in genral, i get by with what i know and make little Helper programs for games (Championship and Football Manager and TEW)

     

    I am more suited to doing graphics, so i enjoy doing the interfaces more than the actual game programming, but, i like the feeling i get when i finally complete the thing so others can actually use it! :D

    If you don't mind, HDP, I finished a simple brand generator program (in C++ mind you, so it's not a graphical interface). Basically, you run the file preferrably in its own folder. It asks you to enter the name of a worker, so you do that and press Enter. Except when you enter it, please don't put spaces. So instead of Triple H, put TripleH, instead of Shawn Michaels, put ShawnMichaels, instead of John Cena, put JohnCena. After that, if you're gonna put in another worker, type in y and press Enter, then keep repeating the process until you want to stop, in which case put n instead of y and press Enter to stop entering names. The program then asks you to put in whether you want 2 or 3 brands, so put in one of those numbers and press enter. It will then randomly assign a brand to each worker, and put these in text files, brand1.txt, brand2.txt, and brand3.txt. After you finish typing in the names, the amount of time it will take for the process to finish will be 2 seconds for each name you enter, so if you enter 2 names, it'll take 4 seconds, 10 will take 20 seconds, 75 will take 150 seconds, so on. Also, if you chose only two brands, brand3.txt will still be there, it'll just be empty.

    Sounds good, i get why you have it as a single name commond, allows unlimited workers to be assigned, made me find a big flaw in my Auto Brand thing.

     

    Is it possible you can create one for a 24 man tourny? (the final would be a three man match; ie: IWA MS: Ted Petty Invitational)

     

    Once i complete Auto Brand (or at least monday's first version) i'll look into releasing a 24>12>6 man easy tournament.
