Thanks for predicting! I know that I post these early shows rather quickly (trying to build up divisions). 7-3, impressive! Yes, our divisions came earlier due to the fact that WMMA does not handle rankings nor tournament results properly in the Openweight division. So, to eliminate "Legislative Pressure", the UFC has decided to take a step in protecting the fighters by two weight divisions: Light Heavyweight (155-205) and Heavyweight (+206). I thought Bas Rutten was going to take care of Shamrock as well. Shamrock broke his jaw and will be out for 6 months, while Rutten broke his hand and is missing around the same amount. Rutten had won the RINGS Openweight Grand Prix in 1996, which is why he was considered a dangerous opponent for Shamrock. I'm sure he'll be right back in the title picture upon his return. And so begins the reign of the Shamrock brothers here at the UFC. For now, anyways...
