  1. Another good show. Intrigued by Troy and Sammy. I actually liked that you didn’t use some of the bigger ones. I find it helps not leading to a burnout of ideas. As far as the excursions go. Both guys left me at the end of 2022 so i think they’re set to stay for a year from the start of the game. I think I did ok on the predictions aswell which makes a nice change!
  2. Damn that Sammy Bach. Really good show. Things are motoring along now. Looking forward to seeing how Greg loses again! The Behemoths. I think. Chris Flynn Nick Booth Jaylon Kamimura - which will be one more win than I gave him in his entire excursion! Great main event. Greg to win. Troy to cost Sammy.
  3. Great show TL. Enjoyed the little wrinkle of the show affecting not just the ones who were snowed in/out. But also the ones who would be travelling with them. Great shout. Mighty Mo is a dick. I hope TBone kicks his ass. The Main Event are always fun to write for an I like how you see to be pushing JC into a temporary alliance. Wonder if he’ll help them next week…. Predictions Main Event after help by JC Queen if only because I remember you saying something positive. Pfft. Flint via nefarious means and Mighty Mo may accidentally cost him? Seth Whitehead Benny and the Foxx to move toward them becoming the next Tag challengers Greg if he has signed.
  4. Can’t Catch This Mystery Man Bart Elliot Thomas Bradley Blaze Stuck on the last one. Jay should win but feels like the match is there for a reason. Let’s stick with Jay.
  5. I’ve started badly so when I can win I can sing “started from the bottom…”
  6. If non title - Dallas Cowboys Keenan HBS Rogue Awesomeness via shenanigans Des Davids Celeb - One of those new young females? Evelyn something? Fool - Poor Gary Legend - Sean McFly - 25 years since he won the title isn’t it? Punishment - A spanking?
  7. Another great show. You’re setting yourself a high bar to follow! The Remo stuff was great and glad you gave UA a huge win rather than the obvious.
  8. Great show TL! Top stuff and a great opening PPV that will no doubt set the table for what’s coming. I like that we didn’t get any major storyline swerves or big happenings which is how it should be as you build into it, imo.
  9. I know, right?? My tardiness has gone unpunished for too long!! The major guy I bought in are Nicky Champion and ZWB and I potentially have HBS coming in too. I’ve bought in some of the obvious ones too like Youngman, High Rollers and Going Coastal. Also grabbed Sean Deeley when his contract wasn’t renewed. Same with Sterling Whitlock. Also released by USPW when his contract ran out. Don’t know if you’ve seen the same but USPW have let a few people go who were decent on their roster and aren’t in time decline but then re signed The Force?? Elliot Thomas I just cannot get into. He’s my Brooklyn Brawler. Jeremey Courteney is a bit different, his performance skills give me the chance to just be super random with him. Looking forward to Andrew’s/Bach. I ran a storyline from Jan to October with them, one of the best I’ve done so far in any game in my opinion!!
  10. Super pleased to get in just in time to predict for this show. Been following your diaries for years but this might be the first time I’ve ever predicted, or commented. So firstly, apologies. And secondly, thanks for the content. Mighty Mo retains - From what I’ve read you’re high on Mo and Flint is very much a work in progress. The Behemoths win - Sammy absolutely had something to do with the attack and it’s either a forfeit win or Sammy does “weekend at Bernie’s” with AA’s lifeless body and lays him down. Two Man Army win leading to more dissension in The Syndicate and its much needed refresh. Tbone wins for the same reasons as stated above. Stuck on the tag title match. Lean towards Devine Fortune to then lose to The Behemoths in the future and the Main Event can regroup without the tag titles. Jay retains - Not a huge Greg fan. Have always been Team Matt if that’s even a thing and I don’t even know why. The second name perhaps? Great talent but for me, just misses out on that little bit extra. Quick addition, I’m running a TCW game and I’m currently up to November 2022. It’s such an exciting company to book with such a high ceiling and some really great workers to use in a variety of ways. If you get lucky, like I did, and manage a couple of high profile pick ups, then you’re on to a winner. Super eager to see if your game progresses in at all a similar way to how mine has gone. Happy to share bits on how certain wrestlers improve and eager to see how you book wrestlers I’ve struggled with.
  11. Keenan Rogue Dallas Cowboys feels too obvious but I’ll stick with it. Primus to pick up a big win Team Rocky but Davids to close the show on top. The Remo characterisation was phenomenal. He’s always been someone I’ve struggled to write for so massive kudos. Looking forward to the next show.
  12. Great show man. I never knew Jerry and Eric dated for so long. You certainly have been brushing up on your lore!
  13. Think of it this way. Before we go to bed tonight, the game will be released. I live in the UK and there is no way it won’t be released before a reasonable hour tonight.
  14. What we saying then? Between 4 and 10pm Uk time?? Time to get my jobs done in that case.
  15. AJ Styles starts the show with a victory over Bobby Lashley after a distraction from Scarlett, advancing to next round in the Number one contenders tournament. Styles is clearly pissed off as due to an injury suffered by Lashley, Styles is pulling double duty tonight! Rhea and Dom are backstage, Dom telling Rhea that she shouldn't go out and wrestle tonight, she has an important match with Becky at Backlash and they need to keep their title. Rhea disagrees, she told Pearce she is going to wrestle tonight and she isn't going to let her fans down. Dom tells her she shouldn't give a shit about what the fans think, much to the chagrin of the....fans. Rhea Ripley defeated Alba Fyre with the Riptide, but she did more damage to the arm whilst doing so. Becky Lynch comes out to congratulate her on being a workhorse champion. No one knows more than Becky what it means and what it takes to be a workhorse champ. Becky carried the RAW women's division on her shoulders for nearly 2 years. Her husband Seth Rollins was a workhorse world champion and he is still unable to return. Becky tells Rhea she needs to be careful the same doesn't happen to her... DIY defeated AOP to qualify for the final of the RAW Tag Team Title tournament after Ciampa hit Akam with a superkick and a meet in the middle from both men gets the job done. Jimmy Uso tells us Solo is the future of The Bloodline and Jimmy's ticket to the top, where he belongs. Nia Jax squashed Tegan Nox, literally. LA Knight has the chance to win singles Gold for the first time in the WWE. He tells Styles not to get involved, otherwise it may just be the last thing he ever does. Yeah! The Creed Brothers defeat local talent. They will face Imperium next week in the semi finals and they say the key to victory is momentum. They set records in high school and college due to momentum. When they get going, nothing can stop them. Scarlett tells us that Kross will end Randy Orton tonight and advance in the RAW No1 Contender Tournament, before Kross goes onto finally finish Bobby Lashley off in a Steel Cage at Backlash. He didn't though, as Karrion Kross forgot the Golden Rule of Professional wrestling, never interfere in another wrestlers match if you have a match later on. Kross cost Lashley, now Lashley returns the favour, distracting Kross for long enough for Orton to hit the RKO! Randy Orton advances to the semi final of the RAW No1 Contender Tournament. Randy Orton will go onto face Shinsuke Nakamura in the semi finals and Nakamura has a message for Orton. Quite simply, he is going to hunt, and kill, the Viper! Cody Rhodes is here, as he promised, and as he promised he invites Drew McIntyre to the ring, and the world champ comes out. Cody tells Drew he has a challenge for him. He knows Drew McIntyre doesnt like Seth Rollins. Cody Rhodes didnt like Seth Rollins for a time. Drew disagrees but Cody tells him that in order for the champion to be the best champion, they need to beat the best challengers. If Cody Rhodes beats Drew McIntyre at Backlash, Seth Rollins gets a rematch for the world title! These two put on a clinic, despite Styles already having fought tonight. AJ Styles starts out hot, hitting Sami with a low blow before controlling the opening portion of the match. Drew McIntyre comes to watch but is followed straight out by Cody Rhodes, making sure Drew doesnt interfere. Sami fights back, hits the Helluva kick and advances to the final! Drew seethes but doesn't try to attack. His seethe gets worse when CM Punk's music hits and Punk makes his way to the ring. He makes a beeline for Sami Zayn, clearly having a retort for Sami after Sami told Punk to stay out of his business last week. Punk tells Sami he "was absolutely right". Punk tells Sami he will back off, there will be no interference from CM Punk. Punk tells Sami to go and beat that Scottish idiot and take the World Heavyweight Title! End of show The go home show for Backlash on the Smackdown side starts with the triple threat number one contenders match for the WWE Women's Title and its Jade Cargill who defeats Bianca Belair and Naomi to go on to face IYO Sky. Damage Control made their presence known during the match by attacking Naomi, and then Jade before Bianca fought them off. Jade took advantage, hit Naomi with the Jaded and picked up her biggest win so far! Post match, Bianca and Jade looked at each other, before Bianca offered her hand to Jade. Jade accepted and Bianca told her to go and beat IYO and win the title, Naomi and her will win the Tag Team Titles tomorrow night! A hype vid plays for the impressive Bron Breakker. Ricochet defeated Jinder Mahal with a 450 splash. Post match, Jinder tells Sanga and Veer that Ricochet is their new target. Rey Mysterio and Andrade are in the back, with Rey heavily taped up due to a few different injuries. Rey tells Andrade the time is right, to take out Santos Escobar. Bronson Reed squashed a local talent. Tiffany Stratton tells Alexa to watch the next match closely, she might learn something. Did she? Who knows? Either way, Tiffany Stratton defeated Kayden Carter, not just with any move, but with the Twisted Bliss, hitting it perfectly! Alexa didn't look impressed as Tiffany strutted around the ring in celebration post match. A Town Down Under and New Day are arguing backstage. New Day call them fluke champs, and paper champs who aren't even a tag team. They are 2 shitty singles wrestlers who got punched into a tag team by Kevin Owens! Waller responds by saying that Theory will defeat both Kofi and Xavier in singles matches before they put the New Day out to pasture at Night of Champions. Then we'll see who the fluke is! Time for our 2 semi final matches now, bumper episode of Smackdown tonight! In a somewhat shocking turn of events, Logan Paul picks up the victory here. Bronson Reed, still pissed from losing to Jey, made an appearance as Paul kept the ref busy and hit a big Samoan Drop on Jey to the outside of the ring! Logan Paul went to get Jey and roll him back in, but thought better of it and instead stayed inside the ring, picking up the victory by count out! After Logan leaves, Jey grabs the mic. He tells Reed he is coming for him and his story isnt over yet, he wants a match at Backlash! He wants....Gunther! Jey is determined to be a Champion in the WWE. Gunther doesn't waste any time in coming out. He accepts the challenge but tells Jey that everyone knows how worthless Jey is without the Bloodline. Good match here, that both men nearly win on a number of occasions. Priest runs interference constantly until he and JD try 1 too many times and they get booted from ringside! This leaves it mano y mano and nature takes its course, KO hits the stunner and Kevin Owens advances. Logan Paul tries to get the jump on KO! KO ducks and hits a stunner on Logan Paul to send him flying out of the ring! Who will be the next number one contender? Drew McIntyre closes the show, he tells Cody that he accepts his challenge. Drew has always been better than Cody, he is rougher, tougher, stronger and better than Cody Rhodes. When they were a tag team in 2010, he carried Cody Rhodes, He was better then. He is better now. If Cody Rhodes beats Drew McIntyre, which he wont, then the broken down Seth Rollins gets a title rematch but it will be on Cody's head when Seth is sent into retirement. He also has a message for Judgement Day. If they try and interfere, he will end them all. End of Show. I'll run a prediction contest running from Backlash to Mania 41. The winner of the prediction contest gets to choose a wrestler to be bought up from NXT, or gets to put together a tag team of their own choosing, not sure yet! Thoughts/feedback welcomed, thanks for reading! Trying to tone the colours down a bit, feedback on that also welcomed!
