  3. I've noticed several of my workers are slowly declining in stamina over the past 12 months. It's not age decline because they are between the ages of 21 and 35.

None have ever had injuries, I have drug tested them and they are all clean, they all have high physical health stats and none have ever had fatigue. They haven't been regularly put in high-risk matches or took bumps either? It's a head scratcher. Anyone know why that might be happening or if it can be reversed considering they are all relatively young?

  4. If you do a elimination bracket, just put the belt on the line in the final match.

Yeah I realise that. I was just making a suggestion to streamline it further, so you could actually assign a title to a tournament. I'm sure there are more pressing suggestions...was just adding it to the mix.

I do think a graphical representation of the tournament in tournament brackets would be really nice. (Not that particularly difficult to implement either).

  5. Yeah you can't stay true to the era and have Superstars be an "A" show about as big as it got in 91 is stuff like Von Erich vs. Perfect, or Haku vs. Virgil. Having to book Warrior vs. The Million Dollar Man in a title match just to hit 89/90 sucks. I just edited it before hand to be a B Show. I believe Justin had it as a B Show on his mod atleast 13 and maybe 16 too.

I played the 1991 mod on 16 religiously and Superstars and the WCW Saturday show were always A shows.

  6. Something I've recently noted with this mod is that the American economy is in the toilet, it's at 13 in every area of the states. The lowest outside is Canada with 36. Is this by design or a cock-up? If so how does one go about fixing it ingame?

I created a few copies of my saved game and had a play around with the economy booms/crashes narratives in the in-game editor. Unfortunately it is very difficult to micro-tweak in game. I think this is more of a game engine issue.

I managed to get the American economy from 13 and falling to 27 and falling, which is a little better. I did this by creating a boom at strength effect 10, and then a crash at strength effect 1 the next day. (I recommend doing this when you have a free reign of days without shows). I tried many combinations but falling at 27 is the closest in line with the rest of the world I could get it. I noticed there are two more pre-existing booms to come in 1991 anyway (in July and December) so the stat will likely rocket up again anyway. :D

Regardless. I'm really enjoying this mod. Excellent work from the creator.

  7. Is there anyone who has free hand knowledge about TEW2020 who can state in a nutshell what needs to be done to existing mods to incorporate all the cool new features?

I'm eagerly awaiting the release of TEW2020 but I only play real world mods (old school only), with the permission of the original creators I'd like to see some of the excellent mods upgraded to 2020 as soon as possible after release.

Would there be a lot of time and graft to put in - or should it be fairly straightforward?

As it is down to how well you push a character and their momentum within the company, not just purely where you assign them. So wrestlers will move up and down the list fluidly based on their performances and how you sustain their pushes.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Sounds great. I hope this data is replicated in a league table/rankings table. Would be great to look at the table before booking and see who needs a win/loss etc on the next show.</p>
  9. <p>Really looking forward to TEW2020, been playing for almost twenty years now (since the Extreme Warfare days!!).</p><p> </p><p>

Two things I've always wanted to see in this game:</p><p> </p><p>

More in depth-win loss records and stats on the worker's profile screen, i.e. how many times they've won/lost by pinfall, countout, submission, disqualification, drawn, form (winning or losing streaks?). </p><p> </p><p>

Or if not on the wrestlers profile screen as a part of the roster overview screen? With the ability to sort/rank by column. </p><p> </p><p>

I don't like much about the WWE2K games but I do like the ranking screen with the ability to be able to move up or down workers.</p><p> </p><p>

I realise work on the game is already well underway - but would this be easy enough to add in?</p>

My initial idea is based on actual history. I'm thinking of giving an account of the in game world as compared to history in between each WCW era, to identify what's different and how the game has impacted things.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> This is a great idea!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> I don't plan on releasing a Mod, however would never do so without permission.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Initially, I'll try to keep with history. As we know, history will begin changing the moment I start, so it will depend on what you mean by 'massive changes'. I'll keep to the core of WCW during the time periods the best I can.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> This is fantastic, I didn't even think of this. I'll absolutely be ensuring I do this before I begin.</p><p> </p><p> --</p><p> </p><p> Thank you for all the great feedback!! I wish 2020 was right around the corner so I could get started, but this game is going to be worth the wait.</p><p> </p><p> <em>--</em></p><p><em> </em><em><strong>Lev</strong></em></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> In my game, I was playing the Rising Storms mod. Pat Patterson was the WWF booker (I think). I hadn't realised this beforehand, so I edited Vince McMahon's booking ability and reputation to 100%, added a new player as Vince McMahon as a booker then left the game. So he's now owner and booker in my game.</p><p> </p><p> It definitely makes the WWF much stronger. I also make title changes less frequent, make McMahon prefer workers with "charisma" rather than "look" so guys across the board with charisma and look like Hogan, Warrior, Hart, Michaels get the pushes and titles rather than guys like "The Warlord" or "Barbarian". I sometimes do jump in as McMahon to take titles off workers like Bushwhacker Luke as intercontinental champion. I'm finding I'm having to do this far less when I make all the above changes though. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  11. <p>Obviously the "Akeem" and "Big Bossman" team were known as "The Twin Towers" in the WWF.</p><p> </p><p>

My variation of that team when it's "One Man Gang" with a heel "Big Bossman" is "<em>Law and Disorder</em>". </p><p> </p><p>

This can also be used in WCW by those that take the trademark issues legitimately (i.e. Akeem and Big Bossman) in their games. I currently have "Ray Traylor" under his real name with a police officer gimmick teamed with "One Man Gang" under this tag team name.</p>
