    What's going on in your game?

    <p>Simmed Risky Business to 92 so I could take over ECW from inception and the world looks a little different. JCP, AJPW, NJPW, and WWF are all national promotions. </p><p> </p><p>

    Ric Flair works for WWF, and is their current Champion for the second time. </p><p> </p><p>

    Magnum T.A. is the NWA World Heavyweight champion, and Shawn Michaels and Tully Blanchard are the NWA Tag Team Champs. </p><p> </p><p>

    I have so many of tomorrow's superstars on my roster and I'm probably going to ruin all of their careers.</p>

    So other than no promotions getting above Cult in Sept 1986, it seems like the mod is playing true to life with all the closures. :p

     

    I tried making it to where not just any company could sign up with zillions of broadcasters, but I wonder if setting them for broadcasters that have companies on their airwaves is hurting them because of having to up their production values. Or it could be some workers having travel costs covered (which I tried only giving to workers who were based out of the company's region). Anybody have any thoughts?

     

    Also, I seem to remember it being very tough to get above Cult in the previous iteration back on TEW 2013. I'm sure it's somehow connected with the game world importance settings. If anyone has a clue on how to get that fixed so that a company like the WWF can reach National after having success, feel free to chime in.

     

    As for Owen, I've kept him in Alberta for now because he's probably best associated with the Stampede promotion. I could consider changing it if the Maritimes territory is where he was working most of the time in this time period.

     

    oh that post wasn't a knock on you, I think this thing is playing fantastic. I was just surprised at how many went under in just over a year and a half haha.

     

    and I asked about Owen because in the game that's where his profile says he's based in, but there is no news story about him relocating there.

     

    I wonder if it says that because in the editor he's just said to be based in Canada and the first promotion he got signed to was Atlantic Grand Prix...

    playing the Beta, and damn is 16 hard on companies. I've simmed to Sept 1986 and the list of closed promotions is staggering:

     

    ASWA, ASW, AGPW, CCW, CWA, ECWA, IWA, MSW, NWA:ASW, PNW, TASW, UWF:J, WWA and WWC.

     

    and not one promotion above Cult yet. Gonna keep on going to 92 until ECW opens :)

     

    EDIT: just a random thought, but should Owen Hart be based in The Maritimes?

All Stars MITB was slow and disapointing...And The WWE title match not main eventing the PPV was dumb booking. Cena is always on The main event, except when he should be. I support the MITB match to main event...if it had the quality to do so. Putting it as ME just because they would get an RVD cheap pop is lame booking. I will riot if Brock vs Punk is not the ME for SummerSlam. Sandow winning was gold, i marked for Rhodes when he was almost winning, but i marked even more when Sandow went for it. Gold. Ryback's match with Y2J was actually better than expected... but that was an asinine ending. Henry vs. Cena was dull....man, so dull....but after the ME that followed....i have no idea why it didn't main event the show. And i'm anti-Cena. Also...Axel interfering didn't made sense. He really wasn't needed there. The idea it gave was that Punk could only have won because of Axl... Wouldn't it be much easier to have Punk almost winning and then Heyman comes and screws him? No...instead we have: Axel interferes...leading to a Punk win...and than Heyman screws him. It was a subtle, as well as dramatic as the same time, turn that could work well in other scenarios, if well done, just not in today's WWE.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> From all reports I read, Punk lost... unless I completely mis-read what you said, which is likely.</p>
