  2. What I can see eye to eye on is if we believe theres one more player in the cult that could imply there is another true group out there. There is a chance the setup isn't quite traditional, depending on multiple indies. But even there we're legitimately looking at 2 max, three I doubt but wouldn't put it out of the question.
  3. <p>Sorry again for the absence, busier week than usual.</p><p> </p><p>

Remaining suspects, not quite too sure on that, will have to reread the bit of notes I have. At a glance, I suspect Eliphas and Emark but I always have these potential monster SKs in the back of my mind, and am keeping in mind this phase is more than likely a gimme for them.</p><p> </p><p>

I can't help but feel that someone must've been behind the plan of DJ resurrecting Leion (IF he also turns up orange) so I wouldn't discount the possibility of a vocal town leader being amongst their ranks and "advising" him to resurrect Leion to prove his townieness. I think that aspect shouldn't be ignored just yet. A volatile FoS based off just that would point me to TSS, but I have been wrong before.</p><p> </p><p>

If need be, I may divulge more about myself but would rather wait until it's time. I will say I haven't been out at night these past few nights.</p>

  4. I was strongly considering over time that one of the monsters could be a red herring. So far we've had one dragon wreak havoc on the town, yeah? Unless I missed a part, I wouldn't put that out of the question just yet.

What DJ came up as is rather interesting, has opened a few doors for us to consider down the stretch. I'd say the Leion theory is a fair assessment so far. Gonna be more on later tonight once I have access to a computer, will drop a vote for now.

    Vote: Leion

  5. Part of me was surprised to see the resurrect happen. I don't think I've ever been in a predicament where both the deceased N1 were resurrected after the phase. I was half expecting to get this lynch done on DJ already.

I'm guessing the amount of total ressurections are extremely limited and chances are we probably used most of them up by now. This may depend whether it was worth using them so early, but of course if it involves clearing a townie then the ends justify the means. Hopefully that doesn't turn against us later on, fortunately to some degree scum have to regroup upon these developments.

  6. I don't have a problem with the role he's claiming, my role title doesn't scream townsfolk either. I do however find the idea of a framer being successful unlikely.

/nod that's the first thing that came to my mind. I know it is DJ we're talking about but I'm always wary about the possibility of a framer's actions being successful on the first try. Stranger things have happened, and it's not impossible, but yeah.

  7. What do you mean by that?

Has that role died early in every game you have been in with that role?

Has there been a role write-up talking about what that role does? Just curious because I have never heard of such a role.

Somehow it seems practically every game I've played in, the player wielding that role went and died early. The only thing I would think of it is the role was either very feared or can be an easy target as protectors may not necessarily vie for a visit, depending on the player of course.

But then I've mysteriously had many encounters of this role dying N1, and obviously scum couldn't have sussed out the role then, unless of some crazy day investigator kinda role were in place.

From the sounds of it, it doesn't seem like this role would be very write-up based. The only thing I could think of it would be flavor-related, playing up the appearance of a child being offed (in this case, the mother's daughter which apparently may trigger something).

  8. Sorry I've been off, I've just been enthralled into the remake of Crash Team Racing for several hours now and have trouble letting go :p

Interesting developments all around, I am surprised to have seen a resurrection so soon. My leading theory is that some players may have access to this limited resource and one of them saw the aforementioned discussion and decided to go ahead with it. Couldn't see any other way what with the timing of it.

Gonna mull over DJ's claim, not sure what to make of it for now as I'm restless when it comes to framing theories but certainly worth pondering over.

  9. Innocent Child is a role I've run into a few times yet never fully grasped what it does, up to now. It seems to be a role that mysteriously gets offed very early at least in my experience.

I agree on the point of the dark blast being a mafia kill. The first kill portrays unabashed rampage would make sense for it to be indy. I had a good hunch that the three perceived threats wouldn't be outright killing N1, the other third party makes it likely to be another type of indy carrying a more specific goal or condition.

  10. Shows how either unlucky I am or little awareness I have...

I went to a Gamestop today on payday to buy NBA2k17, only to find a litany of people in line for the new Pokemon Sun & moon that came out. The lady managing the lines told me it's about a 45-minute wait from what she's seen and it's gonna be going on all day (possibly all weekend too).

    Of all the possible days...

  11. <p>DeRozan is playing like a madman right now. I may just have to eat my words. Toronto is gonna come out on top in the east just under Cleveland, they gave them a tough match-up last night despite coming up short.</p><p> </p><p>

Also glad to see the Bulls gelling well together, they routed Portland without Rondo which to me shows incredible promise. They have roleplayers shooting the lights out and Wade showing proper leadership, Butler being Butler.</p><p> </p><p>

I just wish the Knicks were doing better, still looks like more cohesion is needed.</p>

I can't believe people can't figure out how to hook a controller to a computer. <p> </p><p> I know not all games work but 90% of them do...</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I know you know there's a lot more to it than that <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> The fact is some people just aren't that tech savvy to make the jump. You generally need to have a good grasp on what to get and how low you can get it for(by proxy, where to look) in order to get the best bang for your buck. PC has the advantage on mostly all categories but if the console experience is sustainable enough for someone to keep with it, along with factors such as the person's casual approach to gaming, the amount of games they're invested into, etc, then it's certainly not just "better resolution" and "peripherals" which will make the user make the switch.</p><p> </p><p> By your point as well, in the age we're in, we can see consoles are enjoyable enough to still have their place in gaming, at least for the forseeable future.</p>
  13. <p>No doubt but we're talking strictly on the payday aspect here. His brand won't carry over any more now than it could have but there's no point getting gripe about his paycheck considering the obvious reason why he was paid this much. </p><p> </p><p>

His name carried him enough to have a UFC PPV debut, which is that much already. Many people are disputing he probably shouldn't even have made it there for his first contest, and though I'm a fan of Punk I wouldn't dispute that notion</p>

  14. <p>Given where I'm from I'm obviously a huge Raptors fan... but despite everyone's optimism I feel like I'm the only one who thinks that the team hit their ceiling last season.</p><p> </p><p>

Biyombo has signed somewhere else(Magic?), and even as a roleplayer he was a huge part of their run through the post-season. If JV stays healthy and consistent then perhaps they may reach a top seed again but even there it's iffy. Lowry and DeRozan can only do so much but they need great roleplayers surrounding them in order to keep their top standing. The only person I have absolute trust in is Dwayne Casey, he's become by far the best Raptors coach of all time.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I'm also a Bulls fan, and I find their situation interesting here, as mentioned above, they switched a hometown hero for another, what this seems like is pretty much short-term rebuilding. Obviously Wade is winding down and Butler/Rondo will have most of the minutes on the floor, they'll be looking to build off of this year hoping that playing with a veteran like Wade might be a decent incentive for other players to sign.</p><p>

But I don't think the Bulls office are eyeing a deep post-season run right now, the current plan is likely to watch Wade play his final years while they'll be working hard to find the right pieces to eventually climb back up to the top seed.</p>

  15. Punk's purse is $500k. Gall gets $30k. Well, I bet that money sure helped his "courage". I kid, a little, but seriously, Punk isn't a hero.

At the end of the day, Punk was put in the position he was in on the UFC card and advertised heavily because he brings a fan base that brings in a large crowd. Because of that crowd and the chance at making a bunch of money UFC took the chance. If he went to say idk take up table tennis and compete he would still be billed heavily because he has built a name for himself. You can't discredit him for building his brand.

  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jaysin" data-cite="Jaysin" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>There's two heavyweight title matches at Summerslam and neither one will probably main event. Which is depressing because the main event will most likely be boring Lesnar vs Orton. <p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Makes a bit of sense that they're making it this way; it allows for the respective contenders to be booked into those matches. Let's face it, Balor or Ziggler would've never been penciled in to close out the show and/or to headline a high-profile title match.</p><p> </p><p> It's reminiscent of some of the past Royal Rumble PPVs where contenders who usually would've been glossed over for a title match ended up booked for one because the main-event was always the Rumble itself. As I recall, Ziggler had a title match on one or two occasions at a Rumble PPV... hopefully this time he remains in the top brass picture.</p><p> </p><p> I watched 2/3rds of Raw, and my God.. Enzo's got next. Got charisma falling out of his backside. I rarely watch wrestling these days but it is good to see Jericho still doing his thing.</p>
  17. <p>Bray Wyatt needs revamping in some column. They were trying to test a face run with him before he got injured post-Mania.</p><p> </p><p>

While wanting consistency from WWE is only fair because they haven't been the best in that department, nothing about this shows to me a lack of consistency from their end. They can choose to do whatever they want with the Wyatt family. If they'll keep them together, great(as long as they do something interesting with them). But if they don't, fine. Not keeping them together would not be any sign of "inconsistency" but purely that they may have plans set up for Rowan/Harper/Bray/Strowman down the stretch and what exactly is wrong with that, when you really think about it</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

It's clear as day that those guys won't be tag team partners/stable members forever. They've done their fair share of "terrorizing" the roster, they even had somewhat of a stronghold during the Royal Rumble match for a good few minutes because Lesnar became the next entrant. I feel like they've done the world with them, and maybe now that they're shaking things up, they might shake things up in more than one department.</p><p> </p><p>

In fact, just touting them as the "longest running stable in the WWE"(not bothered to check whether that's true or not, but I'll take it) may just be the writing on the wall...</p>
