In my RTG game, my user character's heel rating went up from 20 to 80+ in about 18 months. (50ish shows.)</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> How did you achieve this? Was it just using him as a heel for 18 months?</p>
  2. Yeah, that's what I thought. What about at portraying faces and heels? I have a guy who is mediocre at both face and heel. Will he improve, or is that stuck as well?
  3. Do workers face/heel and gimmick categories change over time? If so, is there anyway to improve them.
  4. Tales of the Thunderverse has just gone on sale at all good bookshops lol
  5. TNA are making money way too easy. They made 2million profit in two months. Is there a way to make it tougher for them since they are supposed to be struggling financially in real life? I'm not talking about crippling them so it's impossible for them to survive, but making 1mil a month seems too easy.
  6. I don't know if the gimmicks are something you've worked on, but there are a lot of gimmicks that are rated 0 risk, 0 difficulty, and 0 subtly. This is fine on a mainstream product and will almost certainly guarantee a good gimmick rating for the worker. But when running a cult promotion and I want to give a worker a gimmick of corrupt cop, for example, 0/0/0 is going to fail for being too one dimensional - which it shouldn't be. This makes playing cult promotions unnecessarily difficult to play.
  7. Timm Wylie at ICW speaks passable French... and that's it. Surely he has a native language.
  8. Do announcers and Colour Commentators gain skills in those areas by working with better workers, being used in the reletavie position, or both?
  9. Same here. I miss those days with British Samurai, UK Dragon, and Merle O'Curle. <nostalgic sigh>
  10. He actually looks like somebody I used to know. And, yes, he wa a grump too lol
  11. Ernest Youngman has had a bit of a push from me because I think he's awesome. But, he's pestering me for a pay rise. He's only just made the main event level and he's requesting more money than the champ. Sorry, pal. Nobody is bigger than the promotion. Going to have to put you on a losing streak for a while. Hopefully that brings you down a peg or two. I love how the workers are a pain in the backside in this game. Like a bunch of squabbling little divas. I'm half expecting someone to refuse to work unless i take out all the blue M&Ms.
  12. I've started a game as Peter Michaels and the plan is to get revenge on SWF for firing him. I looked at Michaels style preference - wrestling as a sport - and have started an Old School 'Rasslin promotion called Peter Michaels Promotions (after JCP). Kirk Jameson is my champ and figurehead. He is currently in a feud with Rebel Cell (a stable of Bryan Holmes, Ernest Youngman, and Adrian Garcia). I am planning for Bradford Peverell to join this faction at the new PPV and am tinkering with the idea of bringing in Joe Sexy who was recently made a free agent. My midcard champion is Mobstar who is feuding with Samoan Machine. Samoan Machine rage DQ'd in a tournament fot the title, and is taking it out on the current champ. No Tag division yet, 'cause I'm not getting any chemistry. PMP is currently on free-to-air Los Deporte Hoy and PPV with MySelect USA so I'm making a profit and getting increased coverage. USPW is still numero uno despite dropping to cult, and SWF and TCW being national.
  13. <p>Damn, you! </p><p> </p><p> I've just started, and am thoroughly enjoying, a 1985 mod I've recently discovered and downloaded. Now, this comes out and it looks awesome. </p><p> </p><p> Fortunately - for me, anyway - it seems you're still busy fine tuning this mod. So, once I've got bored of my current game, I'll come and download this and - hopefully - all the tuning will be finished.</p><p> </p><p> Sounds like a mammoth job you've done here (see what I did, there?). Keep up the hard work.</p>
  14. Just watched Slumdog Millionaire. It was not what I expected and I enjoyed it. I usually like Danny Boyle films, so I shouldn't have been that surprised. I guess the hype machine got me wary. A good film to watch is London to Brighton. I can't say I enjoyed it - it's not that kind of film - but it was brilliant. Brutal, but brilliant.
  15. <p>Last film I saw at the cinema was Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief with my six year old son. I enjoyed it. For a kids film it was fun. It was also cool that my son recognised it as I've been reading it to him at bed time. I prefered this to Christ Colubus' Harry Potter films.</p><p> </p><p> Saw Wolfman before that. It had everything going for it: strong cast; Rick Baker on effects - it's the best looking werewolf since An American Werewolf in London! Unfortunatly the film was boring. The best bit was in the asylum in London... the rest was pants.</p><p> </p><p> Somebody brought me The Negotiator on Blu Ray yesterday. I haven't seen that since it firt came out in the late 90's. Going to watch that tonight. I hope it's as good as I remember it.</p><p> </p><p> Might go to the cinema on Friday and see Solomon Kane. Looks good: plus my girlfriend likes the actor, so we've both got a reason to see it.</p>
  16. I thought Leper Messiah was a referance to Monty Python's Life Of Brian: the Ex Leper and Brian is not the messiah! I also can't help thinking of The Grand Avatar as The Stig from Top Gear (UK car program). I just read his bio and I keep hear Jeremy Clarkson's voice especially this line, "Some call him the "puppet master", such is his talent for manipulating events from behind-the-scenes, while others refuse to talk about him in public in case "they" are listening." Maybe I'm well off. This one I'm certain of Cannonball Logan (Cannonball Run and Logan's Run)
