    Technically since 2005 since I had another account. I was 14 and had dial up internet. I was a big resident TNA fanboy in the Dog Pound in the Fox Sports Net days and wrote a few really crappy dynasties that went nowhere.

     

    I mainly lurk on this one and have done so for many many years, but I'm representing regardless. Hello.

    Joined March 2006 back when Gnarls Barkley was Crazy, RHCP were singing about Dani California, The Killer brought out 'When you were young' and Snow Patrol were Chasing Cars... Damn I feel old :o

    You were certainly an inspiration to my venture into rendering. I am certainly sad to see you hang up your boots, but am forever grateful for what you have done for me and the entire GDS community.

     

    Looks like it didn't take you too long to settle into your retirement though, as I had this postcard waiting for me. :cool:

    I did not hear about this until I just read what you wrote. This sounds terrible. I already hate the Wild Card but it is what it is. I think if you are going to have a Wild Card round it should be the three division winners and the team with the next best record and that is it.

     

    This new format is really going to water down the playoffs. It also increases the chance of a sub-.500 team making it into the playoffs and if said team gets hot at the right time they could win the whole thing.

     

    I also hate how there interleague game played everyday now. I would almost welcome them adding two new teams to the league just to avoid it. I mean sure people want to see Yankees vs. Mets, Cubs vs. White Sox and other classic rivalry series. But nobody is clamoring for the Mariners vs. Reds or games where there are no historical significance.

     

    Rob Manfred is an assclown.

     

    I agree with the scaling back of interleague games. It has become meaningless. As for the playoff proposal? Can we remove this guy? I don't like the one game wild card game. I am with BHK, the 3 division winners and the team in each league with the best record.

    The town was... surprisingly inept. Once you claimed either they could wait and test you or scum would kill you, no need to rush your lynch. I think the weight of all those awards Beck and Apoc had did you in.

     

    Although, the way I read it, when you did that fast vote switch it looked so bad I thought, maybe he's trying to get himself lynched? Between that and Beck turning Apoc against you, and the town being not good at that point, you were sacrificed.

     

    That's how I read it. BTW will mafia be starting back up here again?

    Also, now I have to wonder what ham is a euphemism for... :D

     

    Going to be perfectly honest, I debated whether to play or not. The week it started was the absolute worst week it could have for me personally. In hindsight I should have just swallowed my pride and stepped aside.

     

    But yes the town was not very good at all. At least not to where I read to page 75. I still haven't read a page past that. I took a mental health break when I was lynched. Not sure when or if I will return to playing. I just don't have the time to put into it what I would like.

     

    I would like to see games here pick back up, but I know how much effort it went into getting them started a year ago. And I do not have that in me.

    Hello everyone.

     

    Long time no see.

     

    This is a link to a mafia game based on the championship game set up that Outlaw got crushed in :p (just kidding old man, you know I love you).

    The only difference this time is that there must be a D1 mass role claim (you basically must indicate a role during the first day phase.)

     

    I don't think its required that you tell the truth. :eek: But hey, who knows; its mafia right?

     

    So, if you want to try your hand at this style of game and see if you can last longer than a D2 mislynch :cool:, well, here's your chance. Sign up while they still have slots available.

     

    If you read, this started on a week that I redded. Meaning I couldn't play. But they played it that week anyway to accommodate several others. I chose to play thinking I would have enough time to keep up, but that didn't turn out to be the case. If I had lasted the day phase my time would have opened up and I would have had more time to devote to the game. But alas, my buddy Apoc helped the wolves out by tunneling on me. Hammer vote by the guy that I was going to check. A wolf by the way, and the player voted Champion.

     

    I have played this format 7 times. Final was the only game I didn't win and only one of two that I didn't survive to the end. 6-1. FTR. 3-1 as town. 3-0 as a wolf.

     

    Nice to see ya again Antithesis and I prefer ham ;)
