  3. I have so many ideas swirling around in my head about what kind of game(s) I want to play. And in reality I'll probably end up just playing a real world watch game like I usually do. For some reason I have an incredibly difficult time staying interested and with a game where I'm playing as a company. I get all excited, set up my company, plan out a few shows, then lose interest and stop.

I'm hoping with 2020 that will be different, based off all the changes and improvements. Definitely excited to see how Japan is handled and also things like NXT. Might give it a go to play as NXT or NJPW with a real world mod.

  5. OK, I figure this is as good a place as any to ask for some feedback.

I've now gone through a few months of my MAW dynasty (click there to go to the thread). I've run some good shows, I'd like to think I've got a few compelling storylines going on, and I've even brought in some genuine big names. However, in terms of engagement, my stuff just isn't getting over. No predictions for cards I post, very little feedback, etc.

I'm not trying to pander for attention, I just want to make my dynasty thread as good as it can be. Any suggestions anyone has would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to think I'm doing decent work, but if there's something I should be doing that I'm not doing, I'd like to know about it.

If I had to guess, it's probably due to lack of substance/flash. What I mean by that is if you look at most of the popular dynasties on here that get a lot of predictions and following, guys have graphics (sometimes custom they've made for their dynasty), wrestler photos, detailed segments/matches, etc. Where as your dynasty is more just straight to the point with 1-2 sentences on each match, no photos, no logos, nothing.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with your approach. And if that works for you, cool. But readers seem to enjoy the more jazzed up bells and whistles approach. I think it at least partially shows that the writer is taking things seriously and putting forth extra effort. So people give it a chance. It draws them in.

Granted, I could be completely wrong. Just speaking from personal experience and what I've observed.
