Anyone want to help me learn how to book MAW properly? My ratings and everything are sucking. 34, 35, and 23 for my first 3 shows.

I first learned to play TEW back in 2013 by running a MAW company with a free $1 million bonus, so I have always had a soft spot for MAW. Sadly, that game finally locked up after 5 in-game years.
So I started TEW 16 by going back into MAW. Reviving a concept from a failed Let's Play attempt, I restarted THE MATT KEITH ERA. Matt is now booking under his father, Sam. It's a little OP, honestly, but a good starting game.
Rip Chord Classic pulled down a rating in the mid-40's. Started with Sam Keith's annual "State of the Squared Circle" address at 75 pts, had a couple rough matches (still trying to figure out lifting vs. working) and ended with a 4 way elimination between Matt Keith, Masked Stranger, Cheetah Boy, and Greg Gauge with Gauge taking the trophy (a 48).
Next day, BHOTWG approached Greg about a contract, but I also reached out for an Exclusive PPA, so we'll see how it goes.
MAW lost $2k on the show, but I might back off production values till we get bigger. Not sure how all the other small feds are affording Professional quality.
Doing better than me. My show got a 34.

Is there a good guide or explanation somewhere on what all the individual stats actually mean and how they translate into game performance? I know there's the player's guide in this year's version but it doesn't seem to have a lot of in depth explanation for stuff like that, unless I missed it.

The main three wrestling skills: Rumble, Technical, High Flying, that are at the top "row" of the Skills screen. Also there aren't such a thing as stupid questions.

They are rich and they have popularity in the US. So they are every bit as aggressive in going after US based stars as USPW and the SWF are.
That makes sense. Remo was the other big name I couldn't remember.

Has anyone had several of the big stars jump to SOTBPW in their games? I'm running a second game where I just watch. I'm in January 2019 and by then Rich Money, Nicky Champion, and someone else I'm forgetting all joined SOTBPW within the last few years.

Who really cares what I'm doing with MAW? I'm loving that Mark Carnie has caused five workers to walk out for various reasons in the same amount of months to start my game. What a scumbag. I really want to start a game as SNP now.

Yo, first hotfix is live! It fixes all the workers beginning with the letter "A" in the batabase. So all of them are now good looking, with no blue pixels floating around etc.
Will the hotfixes require a new game to be started?

That is actually supposed to happen as of now. The very first edition only showed the photos in the company's Roster screen. Now it shows it in the Roster, Match and Angle booking aswell as when you run the show etc.
I've posted a new thread into the tech support section, I'm asking which file those news and unemployment backgrounds use / if they use a file at all which I think is how it is right now. Hopefully we'll get more support for the feature!
Ah okay, cool. So then mine isn't broken. Good to know.

I started a test game and I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but on news stories and the like for other companies I'm just getting a black background for people. Is this supposed to be happening? I thought you mentioned in your previous posts this was fixed in a patch.

Just to be clear with everyone I want a good quality mod and I'm OK waiting for a good product. As long as it gets done right that's all I care about.
But you just said what I was thinking. Ive never tried CVerse. I may start a game and learn about it.
Do it! Might as well. It's going to be a couple of months probably before Fleisch's mod is ready to go at the earliest. Now is as good a time as any to play the CVerse and learn about it. That's my thought process.

Do you guys use Excel spreadsheets or anything to keep track of your games/diaries? Since I decided to start playing using the CVerse and know nothing about it, I feel like I need a good way to keep track of everything. So I wasn't sure if anyone had an Excel template or a recommendation of how to keep track of everything.

I've decided to learn about the CVerse and play a game using that database while I wait for Fleisch to get his mod updated. Works for me.
