Been downloading your stuff since 2010. Just a quick (probably stupid) question: Is there a reason why you use an underscore for your worker pics instead of a regular space?

Three reasons mainly, firstly it's from the EWR days so people who still use EWR can also use my pack (with some editing), secondly is I use to upload everything I cut to Photobucket and when you uploaded they would remove spaces so it was easier to add the underscore and be able to just download and add to the pack, finally, I've been using this pack for so long I cant be bothered to change it.

 2. Don't worry too much, even I don't have over 1000 of those pictures in my pack anyway.
 3. Just a update on the status of the next update, I've closed PCW and activated Crash. EVE and RevPro, I'm going to hold off on the NWA promotion switch as they are all going to leave eventually. I've also made a drastic change regarding global broadcasters, in short for every broadcaster not owned by a promotion, I've split them up by region so that they will only offer coverage in one region rather than all seven and cuts down on a cheaty way to gain quick global popularity, plus it means more feds can use these broadcasters since they are limited to the amount of promotions they can have deals with. I'll likely release it a little early, maybe Wednesday, since I'm busy Thursday and Friday.

 5. What is the required minimum amount of wrestlers needed in each weight class for a promotions using a weight split if their estimated roster sizes are 19-24 & 31-38?
 6.

Info on this from PWInsider - Billy Corgan bought the name NWA. The licensing to companies from the previous owner is apparently going to be allowed to run out. So any NWA branded companies will rebrand as the license runs out. No exact details in regards to Billy's long term plans for the NWA name.

Well that sucks, leaves the option to switch to a new fed when the license runs out or just say sod it and no longer bother.

Australia needs more active promotions anyway, as only MCW is active there in the mod.

That can be done, I was thinking of another Australian fed as either PWA or EPW, although they may not be added this month, along with ECCW I'll take some time since they may likely new workers, EVE and RevPro are now active bar a couple of additions and my main focus is on Vendetta Pro as the new NWA territory.

 8. Just an update on NWA Smoky Mountain, they havent closed they have rebranded to Innovate Pro Wrestling, cant guarentee they have left the NWA but since they are dropping the branding it may be safe to assume they have.
 9.
I'm looking into changing up the active promotions for the nest release, I'm open to ideas but these are my key focus

Closing

- Preston City Wrestling - Essentually down to their dickish actions regarding the Kris Travis memorial tournament.

- NWA Smoky Mountain - Running their final even this weekend.

Opening

- Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling - I want a canadian promotion outside Ontario and Quebec.

- Pro Wrestling EVE - The database needs an active women's focused fed.

- Revolution Pro Wrestling - Kept them out as I saw them as a spot show fed, they still are but they do run more shows than their London spot shows.

- Vendetta Pro Wrestling - Replacing NWA Smoky Mountain as an NWA territory.

This already shows some returns and some new additions to the wrestling world. I love your mods they are great, but I have a question fr you. I was playing as lucha underground in your June 2016 mod and it wouldn't let me sign with anyone besides el rey because it said " el rey owns me". I had never seen this feature besides in your mod so I was wondering if you knew a way to get around it.

Actuallyyou can only sign broadcase deals with networks under the Univision Communications media group (Univision Deportes Network, El Rey, UniMas, Galavision (US) & Univision).

I don't think the in game editor allows you to change the media group owning Lucha Underground so you have to restart the data after making changes in the editor, not sure why they have that set up, I thought I removed media group ownership to make things easier, it will be changed for September.

 12.

Why NWA vendetta ?

I did suggest it was the best option to look at, out of all the current territories it would be the easiest option to put into the data since they are active and most of their roster is known and has a profile on cagematch.

 13. Looks like Will Ospreay is looking to move to Australia in the near future.
 14. Would it be logical to assume that the change would happen between the Low and Medium levels, that would mean that it would be up to 20 matches to be in the low range, over 20 would move them to medium and from then on one match would be one experience, so to get to maximum experience would take around 80 matches.
 15.

They have worked together on a ton of house shows as well though so that sbould bump their tag score into the medium range you've listed there. Probably to the high 50s at least.

The game engine does not take matches from house shows into account for experience so I don't, it is one of the few areas I prioritise the game engine over reality.

Since I want this to be first good version of my database I've made the changes and updated all the links. It's the same data with the tital changes and some tweeks to GFW's product.

Database: August 2017 (V2)

 18.

At present GFW (although having multiple international TV deals) are not much bigger than ROH (if at all). That could change with time but from my own personal standpoint, I can't get behind the promotion anymore - and I know I'm not the only one. I think the damage done has been too extensive and for too long. They will never reach their earlier potential and are an Indie fed with some small international deals that could have been more but due to inept booking, terrible writing and the merry-go-round of heel/face turns seemingly weekly, nothing they do will capture my attention because I just don't care about the product they are releasing any more. I can see most of their roster on other shows - and better booked too so why waste my time?

If they still had Roode, Styles, Joe and Eric Young, then maybe they could have patched themselves up, but this new crop of "stars" are generic indie guy 544749 and very few of the roster has any character outside of being generic. Lashley is ok, and I think in terms of star power he is their top draw but Anthem are looking for a quick buck rather than looking long term - which will spell the end. If they were looking long term they would have invested in people like Magnus rather than trying to take 10% of their wrestlers outside booking fee. The deal should be if you use GFW intellectual property such as name trademarked to them then fine, but not as an out and out clause regardless. It's why they will struggle to get anyone of any value from the indie scene. TNA/Impact/GFW or whatever they will be called next month pretty much have no hope of ever reaching their initial potential. Even with JJ and Dutch back.

Sorry, went into ramble mode but as I'm not in the TNA thread I will say TheWho, I'm looking forward to seeing your alternate world data when complete.

It would be better to just kill everything off and start from scratch but I guess the rebrand is the closest we will get.

As for the alternate world mods, I'm currently working on the Whoniverse transfering over rosters and working out pop, currently one fed down, 57 to go...

Pretty harsh assessment of GFW. Regional promotion with only one wrestler touching C pop. Doomed to failure it is, lol. Oh well. I like a challenge.

What were you expecting from TNA/GFW they have a habit of starting something positive then things happen and its like they shoot themselves in the foot, updating their pop is on my to do list this month as well as do some product and pop tweeks on active promotions.

 20. Here is the update for August, the good news this month is that the overhaul of stats and pop has finished, I plan on going through and fixing rosters and popularity but it won't require the time like before, I also want to go through and tweek some promotions products and hopefully set them up a bit better. On top of that I've added some new workers and promotions, mostly adding people I had cuts for that were not in the data. Another big update this month is the updated worker picture pack, finally got to clear my cut picture folder so everything in there is all the images I have, there is still around 1,500 workers with only placeholder images and I plan on reducing that for the next update that will be in a few months. As usual I've done the typical updates for the month and made changes that have been posted in both threads. The first post has been updated with all links. Enjoy EDIT I made a small mistake with the worker picture pack where you need to rename Awesome_Kong to Amazing_Kong, I am not reuploading 72MB for one incorrect file name. 21.
I don't like advertising in another mod thread but I guess you missed this post

I remember a while back you said you might can the women's mod so I put it back on my to do list, I'll likely start work on it after I get my first couple of alt world mods up and playable.

From there the naming file just needs the ability to distinguish between common names, rare names and kayfabe names and we could create a name file that could create a wealth of interesting data and easily add all kinds of new family relationships for things like randomly generated children of workers and the like. I want it so bad, and I would happily put that file together if it were to become a reality. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Instead of kayfabe names how about alter ego names, that way a worker gets generated with a real name but there is also a random occasion where they also generate an alter ego such as "John Smith has entered the industry and will be wrestling under the name Blue Demon", it can also add into company hiring having an AI option for newly signed workers to get an alter ego for the promotion.

 24. Is there a reason you havent added history for their current employment?
 25.
I haven't downloaded your data to check, but it appears Billy Gunn owns the trademark use of Billy Gunn when WWE's trademark on it lapsed. Just incase you have him under another name outside WWE.

https://trademarks.justia.com/868/75/billy-86875012.html
