  1. Just a heads up, something I noticed whilst prepping for a hopefully-upcoming diary, Randy Williams Jr's LSW bio is for a guy called Sigurd Jarlesson who doesn't seem to exist (maybe someone's alter ego?). His main bio is fine.
  2. FCW Puerto Rican Title Handsome Stranger(c) vs Mutant Can't see Mutant taking the title just yet... FCW Tag Team Titles Relentless(c) vs Young & Wasted Young & Wasted might be great one day, but not yet. FCW People's Championship Island Boy Apollo(c) vs King Kong Kennedy Kennedy isn't that great, and I can't see Apollo losing in his first defence. Marco Gonzalez vs Kanishoki I can't see golden boy losing to Kanishoki. Cobra vs Tex Tegan Feels weird to pick everyone on the left side. Ox Mastadon vs Giant Brody More right-side evening, plus the mysterious woman.
  3. Definitely agree with the event names, haha. I always change them, except for FREEDOM Fighters which I make into the big season-ender. I especially hate that Fight for FREEDOM is literally the next event after FREEDOM Fighters!
  4. Loved that! Great start. It's kind of amusing that you've gone all photorealistic with the renders for FCW of all companies, but it works! Especially love the renders for the Gonzalezes.
  5. Maan that intro was so cool. I've always admired FCW - for the same reasons you've mentioned. The whole "we're on an island and it's us vs. the world" thing appeals to me. FCW Puerto Rican Title Handsome Stranger (c) vs Bradford Peverell As much as I love Peverell, changing the champ on the first show always seems weird. FCW Tag Team Title Relentless (c) (Rob Reynolds and Ricochet Ramone) vs Latino Kings (Rudy Velasquez and Hector Galindo) As I said, changing the champs on the first show is a great idea. FCW People's Championship Xavi Ferrera (c) vs Island Boy Apollo Ferrera is great, and Island Boy Apollo is pretty much the People's Champ with or without the belt. Kip Keenan vs Giant Brody Ox Mastadon vs Bull Wrecker New Years Rumble Featuring; Cobra, Carlos Gonzalez, Marco Gonzalez, Kanishoki, Bret Kyle, Taylor Norton, Martyr, Curtis Shaw, USAce and Juggernaut Jones
  6. Just stop, facts mean nothing to him, it's pointless.
  7. There's a higher chance of the turn going badly. A bad turn will hurt momentum (and possibly popularity too, can't remember). Note that it's only a higher CHANCE - it might be perfectly fine (though it probably won't).
  8. I'd largely agree. Best: 1, 2, 3, 6, everything from 12-19, 21, 22, 23. Readable but not great: 4, 10, 19, 20, 24 Unreadable: 5, 11 Not sure if 19 and 20 are suffering from being sandwiched between two bright white-ish colours though, they might be fine on their own. Pro tip: <div style="background:#262626"> Anything you put in here will be on a grey background, so it won't matter if the reader is using a light or a dark skin. Click Source to show the HTML (your post should be empty at this point). Put the top <div> tag at the top of the post and the bottom </div> tag at the bottom. But a bunch of enters/returns in between to separate them. Click Source again to return to the standard editor. Write/paste in your show. That way, you can make it look the same no matter who's reading it. Obviously, feel free to change the colour to your preference. </div> Here's what #262626 looks like, for reference. Slightly darker than the default dark skin background. Link to a colour picker: https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp?colorhex=000000 Obviously there's more you can do, but if most of your shows are just images and text and you don't want to mess around with a fully custom layout, the div trick will enable you to have a consistent background throughout. Images work just fine too: L.A. CAMPBELL vs. Some Masked Guy World Title Match vs. Blablabla, filler text. Much like the match, booooourns.
  9. Finally caught up with last week's Dyanmite (doesn't air until Friday here, and I was bbuuuusssssyyyy this weekend) - Enjoyed the Punk promo. I appreciate the problems people have with it, and agree that the fact everyone in AEW seems to be doing this is annoying and problematic, but it's Punk's "thing" and he does it well. I didn't really see it as "promoting the other company" either tbh. Punk's a heel. He's supposed to say Moxley sucks. "Moxley is way better than Claudio or Danielson" and "Eddie Kingston is the best Eddie or Kingston I've ever met" wouldn't really have the same effect would it? He's a s---house heel, he's supposed to say s---house things. Then Moxley's supposed to shut him up. The only thing I didn't really like was the Adam Page thing. If you're going to do the 'call out a guy you know isn't there to respond' thing, you can't then immediately move on to Punk vs. Moxley next week (unless Page is going to make an appearance during that...). You've gotta give Page a chance to respond next week, otherwise it just feels like he's being buried. Moxley was good, love listening to him on the mic. There's just something about his promo style I really love. - Danielson vs. Garcia was a great match, but ruined completely by all the f£$%ing ad breaks. I appreciate that they don't do the WWE thing of putting someone in a sleeper hold for 5 minutes while the ads are on, and it does make it feel more "special" to go to a live show and watch it uninterrupted, but there were SO MANY in this match, and we missed some big moments because of them. Including the DDT onto the concrete right in front of Ricky Steamboat, which was a SUPER cool moment throwing back to Steamboat/Jake Roberts, that we didn't even get to see live. Loved the aftermath, with Garcia saving Danielson from the beatdown but then leaving. Stopping Jericho from being a total dick, but not going as far as to actually turn on him. "You're a wrestler!" chant was cool. - Did Moxley and Punk need to have ANOTHER brawl right now? I know they're trying to sell these guys being unable to be kept apart, but the show is damn near an hour in at this point and we've seen four guys - two of whom weren't wrestling. This should've been later in the show, if we had to have it. - Steamboat segment was cool. Referencing old storylines with Jericho. - Gunn Club, couldn't give a rat's ass. They're so boring, and have just turned on the only thing that made them even remotely interesting. The Acclaimed deserve so much better, and now this is going to drag on forever. This will be a toilet break for weeks to come. Not that we need a toilet break, with all the f***ing adverts! I realise this isn't AEW's fault, but the ITV Hub is also really bad and never re-starts the show properly, so I always have to fast forward two seconds to get it to run after the ads, which adds to my personal frustration. - Jungle Boy/Christian segment... this is the best feud in AEW right now, bar absolutely none. Just... perfect. Christian is an utterly fantastic heel, and proved it again here. Baiting Jungle Boy into beating the crap out of him just to prove that JB's not emotionally stable is A+ heelery. Accidentally(?) calling him Jack at one point helped. - Is the Wardlow/FTR vs. Sonjay and Co. six man match part of the tournament? If not, weird time to have it... Can't complain though, I finally get to see Big Indian Guy (no idea what his name is) and Wardlow in the ring. Also, I love the fact that they promote Rampage matches on Dynamite. It sounds simple and obvious, but can you imagine WCW promoting Thunder matches during Nitro? It helps Rampage feel important and worth watching, and part of the AEW continuity, rather than just an extra show that you can happily skip (which... it kind of is, but I do enjoy the fact that midcard storylines progress across both shows, so it legit feels like you're missing out if you skip Rampage every week, even if the stuff you're missing out on is stuff you don't care about). - Storm/King was decent. Felt a bit pointless, but did put King over quite a bit (at least with me, who's never seen her before). Still not sure why there are two women's champions and one of them is hardly ever on TV, but that's probably a me problem. Given what I've seen of Cargill so far, I'm not losing any sleep over it. - Main event was GREAT. Like, extremely good. I like the "Young Bucks trying to carry an injured Kenny Omega to the title" angle they've got going on - whether Kenny is legit still recovering or not is frankly irrelevant. The half-botched-because-injured One Winged Angel was a nice touch. The Young Bucks have the ability to just make any match into a spectacle at the drop of a hat. The Dragon Lee thing at the end was weird, but fair enough. The only thing is, as someone relatively new to Kenny Omega, he has more Triggers than a reddit post, which gets confusing. So this was the V-Trigger?
  10. I could be wrong, but I think the help file is just referring to the ability to borrow Alliance titles (therefore assigning them to your promotion for one night). I'm fairly sure there's no way to borrow other company's titles, even if they're in an alliance with you.
  11. Assuming it's an option, can we have HTML enabled in the dynasties forums? The WYSIWYG editor is pretty, and cool, but a lot of people are used to the way they format their dynasties, and for some layouts it's more convenient to use HTML (thinking of tables in particular, which are fiddly AF in Word). Plus, the existing dynasties that use HTML are broken now (not to mention BBCode... but I'm guessing that one's not going to be an option over here?).
  12. Seems like it might only be enabled for mods/admins at the moment, because all I have down there is a link to the theme creator's site, no option to change it.
  13. I disagree with milamber, but the option to choose would be cool. Most forums have a 'dark mode/light mode' option, which I can't seem to find here.
  14. Ohh, I've worked out why. I'm on my laptop at the moment and downloaded the trial version because my PC is out of action, the unpatched Trial version of TEW is only 1.09, and Three Ring Circus isn't in that version. Off to get me the trial patch! My bad!
