According to Wiki, Kowalski's International Wrestling Federation promoted under the name "Killer Kowalski's All Stars", but it sounds like they only started using that name in the '90s. That's the closest I can find.
Looks like its more of this promotion...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NWA_All-Star_Wrestling and being Canadian.
So I have corrected it to reflect this as well as shutting the ASWA which closed in November 1974.

Oh dear! Will sort this tomorrow! And super cool you have gone to lengths to play!!! Have made the same sacrifices myself in the past since EWR...and now hoping Pro Wrestling Sim on Steam will be worth it too and recommend if you haven't yet!!!!

I'm finding work taken from my Free Pic Pack used in this mod without credit. Since you credited Gaz, who has stolen from me & others previously, for some of the pics I'm hoping that's the reason for this happening, that you had just had no idea at all.
There's no need to make any major changes to your mod, as long as you will please credit me in this thread & in the database details for the images used. I know it's a tiny thing, but it took awhile making those thousands of pics & the database that accompanies it.

EDIT: Additionally, I've spent lots of time in the editor & found ASWA is set to open Jan '85, but it was only open for 2 years in the 70s. During the period in the mod, she was dying of cancer. Here's a really cool read about the company, if you like wrestling history like I do. I know you said you want to make this as good as it can be & wanted feedback, so I hope that helps.
I also can't find any record of All-Star Wrestling by Killer Kowalski ever existing. Maybe my Google-fu is weaker than it used to be, but I've also never heard of it before.

Out of curiosity, how many more updates do you envision? I wanna give this save a go but not until all the major eras are complete.Yes I’m thinking the same thing if there are any thoughts on it.
In reality, one more for Agers. And I'm only doing that due to my OCD of wanting all pictures to be in the sticker gif format, otherwise they are all already there in jpg format.
My ONLY concern is some future Companies starting up with no event pics or belt pics when the AI creates them, so if you can tolerate that (I struggle to!) then all good.
And then other than people letting me know a glaring issue, me then fixing it or a HUGE facepalm moment. It's as is now really.
I've simmed it for 5 years and 10 years and all seems stable.

Aye, most likely. Would love to work on jpg's but would struggle to find the time when already working on pics (gifs) at the mo. You are more than welcome of course to give it bash and we can add it as alternative pack. But I'm afraid I'm not going to have the time.

It'd definitely be a bit of a pain to keep ontop of. But... Man, I just really wanna use my personal ngo stuff for this. lol
You should be able to simply goto each section in the data (workers, companies etc) and just mass edit "Picture Becomes JPG Format." Hopefully that does the trick.

- Removed Touring from Mexican Companies
- Added Monthly Event/Shows Across Most Companies for Game Balancing
- Fixed Dormant Event Issue When Companies Were Set to TV or Monthly Schedule
If you have previously downloaded the pic pack ensure you copy and paste all pics from logo file into event file Do not overwrite/replace. Otherwise just download pic pack on OP.
Agers will take longer. So will need more days to complete these.

That is due to many companies having their schedule set as TV or Monthly. If the promotion has a TV Show then it will set the events to Dormant. I will tweak this in 4.3. I would suggest putting some to fixed (like WWF and JCP). But I have pretty much finished that now so will upload a quick version. The Agers...are taking an......hey great mod thanks guys.just one thing, i simed few years and i noticed that all the companies automatically set their events to dormant why is that?

Happy to see this picked up by someone. I began working on the mod but I will allow you to do that sir. Good work so far. If you don't mind me asking, when can we expect 4.3?

Ive been playing the original Jaysin version and really enjoying it. What would you suggest importing into my save, is it import friendly (i.e. have you renamed any workers or just added new ones) so that I can import without risking any worker dupes.

Not many new workers, I am currently working on them now (jobbers and future workers). Shouldn't be any issue in importing.
Main changes so far are re-worked stats across majority of workers, worker potentials, worker attributes, pictures matched up (events, belts, tv etc), company AI behaviour fixes, more stable names, tag teams.
Just trying to put finishing touches on an already great mod and ensuring it had a place to live where it can be found front and centre.

How far into the future can you play this? Just a rough estimate?
Huge question and I haven't tested its longevity past 5 years. There are lots and lots of future workers, all the way till workers debuting in the early 2000's. So At least a good 15 to 18 years....
Might be a good shout to add more workers and I shall indeed now....how many years do you usually play for?

That's strange, all folders are there when I open it.
I have posted an alternative link on Mediafire, please let me know if it works for you.
I've just downloaded it myself from Mediafire and all pics and folders are there, so hopefully will be all ok for you.

A TEW 2020 MOD BY JAYSIN AND MATTYWOOD
So after playing this beloved game in its many, many iterations over the years and a love of Pro Wrestling since I could walk (I'm now officially middle aged
) I have picked up the baton from Jaysin with his blessing to complete the Risky Business beta mod.When I say help, I mean that this is not all my handy work by any stretch of the imagination. All the hard work credit goes to firstly Jaysin and Mattywood as this is quite simply their mod. Also further credits go to Hammerglenn, Alvarasus, Mammoth, Oyaji, Derek B, Idolized, RayW, Kryptonite, Beejus, Bro4dway, Smasher1311, Taker, lovegun77, Hive, Genadi, Sco xY2Jx, Walrus and SlimJim. I have simply edited it further to I hope a more pleasurable place so we can all enjoy it like I currently am.
I am not looking for kudos or credit (as I don't deserve any!!!) as lets face it I haven't put in the hard mileage those guys have, full stop. But I just couldn't let such an amazing mod and time period fall by the wayside.
Thanks goes to Gazwefc83, Justtxyank and sabin357 for the crazy pic pack that makes this game now far more immersive than before!!! Amazing!!!

Important to note is that when playing you will need to check the events to make them active as they are currently mostly dormant (e.g. Wrestlemania when playing as WWF) .
I will be consistently tweaking and editing so any feedback will be appreciated to make this amazing time in history more enjoyable for all of us.

Hey Jaysin.
Would you have any objections to me working on it a little? Not looking for props or any credit as that my good sir is all yours. Just want to help out as there are not many databases out there from this period. All mid 90s, 2000's...which doesn't interest me.
It's pretty much ready to go.
So you can have a check. I have updated, pics (using sticker pack and NGO, belts etc) so credit will need to be given to Gazwefc83 for them and then worker stats, broadcasters, events and schedules..etc. Still might be some work on pics (it kills me when there are pics missing in terms of immersion), but have covered pretty much everything. Have updated future worker potential and current workers etc. Of course based on my opinion and sad life of loving pro wrestling since 84 Have sent you links to files and if happy to have in your name, let me know.
Otherwise I guess I will just enjoy playing privately. :) -

Gaz, now this request may fall on quite rightly deserved deaf ears, but you seem to be the master of knocking out era mods now. Pic Pack is pure genius!!!
No-one has ever released a 1990 mod starting at the Royal Rumble when The Ultimate Warrior clashed with Hogan...for me it was the best year in wrestling would love to see that time made at some point. If I had the willpower I would have a bash myself at some point...but a request to yourself is my first stop! Your Killing the Business mod appears to be the focus currently which makes sense, but if ever you pick a time again, please consider 1990....

It's too late now.
But who remembers these rankings in PWI? To have had the rankings represented in such a format and presentation would have been something really special.
Something for the future? We already have rankings in the game, not sure on the level of work to make it happen. I would say the program language most likely limits it.

Sorry, life took over as always and just had no time!!!!! It's not really mine to ask for permission solely to update and amend so if anyone wants to take up the mantle please do! Just make sure to ask and credit all the people I credited in my original post
I might get back into TEW again, I'm hoping though that PWS will pick up the torch as there are some glaring issues still with 2020. This is still my favourite era of wrestling up to around 92.
