  1. Gonna put this into effect in the next update, great idea.

I've been trying to find a work around for Eagle FC never booking their popular American fighters like Kevin Lee. Won't have time this month to start a new game, but if its still a problem and anyone has any ideas, please lmk

I *think* there is a popularity threshold where they will start getting booked due to overall world popularity and not just Russian popularity, but I think they need some base level popularity in the home base. I think its safe to assume any veteran UFC fighter is going to have enough name value to Russian MMA fans, plus they're obviously going to be promoting them once signed. Truth be told, it might be worth looking at all UFC fighters baseline popularity outside of the US and giving them a boost, though that sounds like a project and a half.

  2. No, there is no way of doing it. The two years would probably make very little difference in terms of how her career would play out in-game though, so I'd probably just put her in as an 18 year old. The other option would be to put her age properly and have her debut on her 18th birthday, but then she'll have none of the fights or experience she gains over that time. Though if she fights like this for a few more years she won't have much career longevity.
  3. Do you know how to fix problem with brave cf and titan welterweight champions are not in the organisation? theyre currently both in pfl, and i cant start the game beacause its critical errors

Well, it says the champions are not in the organization, and you confirmed they were in a different organization. So they need to either be in the organization or not be the champion. Critical thinking fixes critical errors.

  4. Just some quick food for thought - I have been increasing every companies scheduling frequency by one (Super Shows > Normal, Normal > Rapid Fire, Rapid Fire > Saturation). I've found this to be pretty effective in getting guys more fights and keeping the AI game world progressing along. This also helps guys who you cannot currently sign get contracts completed a bit faster, letting you have more opportunities to sign them.
  5. Yeah sorry guys this was a personal thing. I always play as UFC and I think the "I just signed a standard contract w another company, I cant accept this" is an outdated game mechanic and this was a good work around. Especially if you wanna do contender series esque shows.

Honestly, i'm not sure I want to change this unless anyone can confirm it causes changes in how other orgs approach the talent. From my experience, it doesn't and just lets me work around the above game mechanic. Feel like it would just be easier for ppl who don't like this to delete those relationships than it would be for me to add them everytime i wanna start a new game lol

I feel you. I play exactly the same way and had done this in the past myself, before it was in the updates. I could take it or leave it though.

To truly evade the mechanic you'd need to have many more child relationships in the game, as otherwise those LFA/CFFC/CWFC guys are still going to field offers from elsewhere. Plus, as outdated and illogical as the mechanic may be, you're still most likely going to be able to get that fighter before they fight again. Maybe they get one more in beforehand from when you originally wanted to sign them. A lot of guys don't get signed to the UFC right away after the company becomes interested in real life either.

If you're a true psychopath you can make every other company a child company. I've done that before too.

  6. Fight odds are one of the reasons why I'd love a WMMA6. A lot of times their completely illogical like if you sign someone from Alpha One with unknown popularity in the U.S, They'll be a +1000 favorite against mid-level to high level GAMMA fighters which seems unrealistic to me.

Age and damage also don't seem to be factors. James Foster will be a +900 against a couple of guys even though he's in his mid-to-late thirties which seems crazy to me.

Yes, He's an incredibly dominant champion but so was Anderson Silva or Amanda Nunes. Time is the one undefeated enemy in combat sports. Foster usually loses in my saves which makes sense but the odds never reflect that fact.

You're reading it wrong. +900 is a huge underdog. -900 is the favorite.

  7. I think it's safe to assume Invicta isn't controlled by UFC anymore, if it ever was, and can remove that relationship from the mod.

It was bought by Anthem Sports last April and since then it's events have aired on AXS TV & the Fight Network (both owned by Anthem), and aren't on the UFC Fight Pass anymore.

UFC hasn't owned any of it's child companies in these updates. I think the original idea was just to make the leagues that have a "feeder" relationship operate accordingly but it doesn't seem all that necessary to do so. I'd remove all three of the child companies.

  8. Hey guys let's chill a bit. I can definitely look into fixing the broadcast deals.

Black Dog, are there any in particular that you could point out to me as being off? I'd be happy to fix it.

I'll get you a rundown this evening or early tomorrow.

Everyone else, stop trying to white knight here. The man himself is fine with it. I'm pointing out an area where the mod can be improved. Nothing more, nothing less.

  9. This is actually a very well planned dynasty so far. While you did jump at grabbing some UFC talent right away, you didn't make big reaches and kept everything feeling realistic which I appreciate (and never expect to see when reading these tbh).

I'd like to see the writing fleshed out a bit more. What you've done so far is solid, the booking and realism is there, I'd love to see the story told in even greater detail as you move forward. Especially when it comes to fight results.

Just my two cents. Good luck.

  10. Great stuff. I will really enjoy this one. Only one thing though. UFC with low level national rep in 1993? I dont think so. Should be at most low level regional.

I could be wrong, but if I recall correctly, in order to get all of the international talent from early UFC shows involved without just putting them all as "based in America", UFC would have to be a National level promotion.

  11. I had noticed that as well. That’s definitely on my list to fix before the next release.

I’ve added in a good amount of people for the next update. I’m not sure if you know this but there is a setting that lets you be able to book any fight that you want. I can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head but it’s in there. I have also tried to update people’s popularity so that will help as well.

I was not aware of this, actually. I'll have to find it.
