  3. Could anyone make a pic of Se7en (Dustin Rhodes' character when he debuted in WCW in 1999)?
  4. <p>Could work, but I'd rather go with a new idea... </p><p> Not bring back an "old" character.</p>
  5. <p>Okay, quick question:</p><p> I'm playing the WCW Lives 2001 mod, and I'm building up a stable of "mentally unstable" wrestlers, called The Asylum. The members so far are Vampiro, Crowbar, Daffney, Christopher Daniels, Abyss and Sting. I wanna add Dustin Rhodes, after he's turned heel and give him a weirdo gimmick. Since it's 2001, I don't wanna use the Goldust gimmick, so I was wondering if there was other ideas out there? I could "steal" the Black Reign gimmick, but... I dunno.</p>
  6. <p>I've never really used match aims, as I've never been able to use them proberly. </p><p> But what would be the best for a Street Fight? Car Crash, Mayhem, Wild Brawl? Something else completely?</p>
  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Danny_H22" data-cite="Danny_H22" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Will I be punished for ending a storyline via the storyline section as opposed to via a match aim? I meant to do it at the last PPV but forgot to add it.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Not at all. It's exactly the same, no matter which you choose.</p>
  8. <p>So... I've signed Chyna from WWF to WCW in my WCW 2001 save. </p><p> I want to rename her, but I can't seem to come up with a good name... I could just have go under her real name, or change one letter so she'd be called China. But I feel that's too lazy... Any ideas?</p>

  10. <p>New Blood Rising - WCW Lives mod</p><p> </p><p> Mod starts in January 2001 - I'm currently in May 2001:</p><p> </p><p> WCW World Heavyweight Champion: Goldberg</p><p> (Defeated Scott Steiner for the title at SuperBrawl)</p><p> </p><p> WCW United States Champion: Rick Steiner</p><p> (Defeated Shane Douglas for the title at Spring Stampede)</p><p> </p><p> WCW World Television Champion: Rob Van Dam</p><p> (Defeated Mike Sanders for the revived title at Greed)</p><p> </p><p> WCW World Tag Team Champions: Chuck Palumbo & Sean O'Haire</p><p> (Defeated Kevin Nash & Diamond Dallas Page for the titles at Sin!)</p><p> </p><p> WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Mysterio Jr.</p><p> (Defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. for the title at SuperBrawl)</p><p> </p><p> WCW Hardcore Championship: Terry Funk</p><p> (Has held the title since game-start - I'm retiring it soon)</p>
  11. <p>Hogan is not under contract with me, and unavailable. </p><p> Raven is with WWF, and thus not available. </p><p> </p><p> But yeah, I like the many roads this could take.</p>
  12. <p>I actually like this very very much... Just one tiny problem. </p><p> I already have a feud planned between Daniels and Mysterio for the CW title, before the stable is revealed. Meaning Daniels will be on camera before the stable is...</p><p> </p><p> Maybe even have the bodyguard win the revived Television title...</p><p> </p><p> Edit: I could give Rey a long reign as CW Champ, and postpone the Daniels / Rey feud until the stable has debuted.</p>
  13. <p>Wow, that was... a lot. </p><p> Now you're just bumming me down <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> But I know what you mean...</p><p> </p><p> To adress a few points: Daffney is basically there, because she's Crowbars manager. </p><p> Sting will join as the leader of the group. </p><p> </p><p> I haven't quite figured out what their goal will be, as the stable is still some months away.</p>
  14. <p>What would be the best way to debut a stable?</p><p> I could just have them all attack someone, and then declare themselves a stable, or I could build them up slowly, with two people recruiting and so on...</p><p> </p><p> I'm playing the WCW Lives Mod as WCW, and I'm creating a new stable called "The Asylum", so far consisting of Crowbar, Daffney & Vampiro... The gimmick of the stable is people who has "psycho or dark" gimmicks. They will be joined by Christopher Daniels (the preacher) and a heel Sting (when he has turned), and later a yet to be determined tag team...</p>
  15. Can announcers "awkward pairing" become neutral, if they call shows together long enough, like tag team chemistry can neutralize?
  16. Could anyone create a TV-show logo for AWF Aftershock for the ThunderVerse 16 DB?
  17. <p>Well, without seeing your road agent notes, I can't really say why.</p><p> But you can try and make the "Dirt Sheet" available, and see the plusses and minusses of the match, and what dragged it down and what made it better.</p>
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Azul" data-cite="Azul" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Sorry for all of the questions. I'm new to playing the game.<p> </p><p> 1. Can a development company sign a contract with a broadcast company? I don't have an option to do this. </p><p> </p><p> 2. What is the point of having 4-5 minute segments? I have some workers that have a mid 80 popularity rating. I like to do angles with them based on overness. I know that you need at least 4 minutes in a segment for it to count towards the show rating, but when I do a 4-5 minute segment at the best it gets around mid 80s because in the dirt sheet it says the rating was capped because of the length of the segment. If I do a 9-10 minute segment than I don't have that capped penalty and sometimes I can get ratings 90+. Why would I ever want to do a 4-5 minute segment when the rating gets capped? </p><p> </p><p> 3. Why can the AI get such better ratings than me? I'm playing the Cornellverse 2010 mod. When I don't play as PGHW, PGHW are able to consistently get show ratings of 88-93. When I play PGHW I consistently get ratings between 77-86. I tried changing the products drastically, and not changing the product at all. I tried using tons of road agents notes, and very few road agent notes. I tried the same thing with match aims. I've tried having a high motivation rating and a low motivation rating. There was never anything majorly wrong with morale or the backstage area. I've tried all of these things but I still can't get my workers to get the same ratings as the AI can. Muruyama, Ugaki, Miwa, Kwakami, Kawashima, and Diaz are getting ratings that I usually can't get them to have. I can't figure out why this is happening.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> 1) Yes, they can. </p><p> </p><p> 2) Personally, I don't understand the idea of 4-5 minute angles either, so I never do them. So... yeah. </p><p> </p><p> 3) Maybe you're just not that good a booker? Sorry, don't mean to sound arrogant, but getting good grades with the right workers is pretty easy. If you match up two workers with high pop and good in-ring abilities, and give the match plenty of time, it should get a good grade fairly easily.</p>
  19. So, for someone who's never played the Thunderverse before (yeah, I know), what would be a good starting company? Like, not too big so the expectations aren't too high, but not too small either... and if possible, entertainment style product...
  20. I've had two 100 rated matches in the 1998 DB... Austin vs Undertaker, and Rock vs Mankind

  22. Does pre- and post-show matches not count towards storyline progress?
