<p>Playing as WCW in Hive's Clash of the Titan's 1994 mod.</p><p> The date is currently monday, week 4, April 1996, and I've risen to Global size. WWF are at Cult, yet they're still the #1 company in the world. Trying to steal Lex Luger away from them atm in a bidding war, but Bischoff won't pay anything, despite wanting a larger roster. But overall, I'm succesfull. I have no national battles atm. in the US., as WWF is Cult. I'm winning national battles in Japan (which is the only place I'm in a national battle).</p><p> </p><p> Next PPV is Spring Stampede, where the card will be headlined by Flair defending the World Heavyweight title against The Giant. Other matches include Eddie Guerrero defending the US title against Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho versus Sting.</p>

You can't. You should've selected to play as an owner when you started the save. There is a hard way to do it though... Add a second player to a random promotion. Then quit as player one with the company you are now. Then add a new player again, and choose the company you just left, but this time choose to be the owner. Then leave the game as the second player, so you are back down to being just the one company you are now.

The only thing I find a bit "irritating", is all the gimmicks that are not suited for the workers, given to the wrong workers (a heel gimmick given to a face and vice versa), and all the gimmicks with way to high difficulty and subtlety... It's something one can fix, but it does take some time. Maybe the gimmicks need an overhaul?

Popularity always plays a factor... even in a perf > pop company. The last few .something grades are probably popularity that's "missing".

Seems weird... I've not had that problem at all when playing below Cult.

If it says "Probably, his last turn wasn't long ago", is it a certainty that a turn will go wrong, or can it still be succesfull?

Only time of day, as you said yourself. The better the timeslot, the more viewers. Attendance depends solely on your popularity in that region. </p><p> </p><p> In regards to hurting another promotion when going head to head: No, not that I can seem to find. All that really matters are the National Battles... The more popular company will attract more people to the show, which in return will mean the rival will earn less money on attendance. That's the only "gain" I can think of.</p>

<p>Pop won't do anything... it's importance that decides a company's size. </p><p> And no, they have to reach the stat in their home region... If the company is a regional-based one in the US, but in theory has Cult in Europe and Canada, they will NOT grow to Cult until they have reached it in the US.</p>

I'm at International level, while the #1 company in the world, WWF, are sitting steadily at Cult. WWF's world champion is... Tatanka, and the title's prestige are sitting a 63. WWF have been retarded all the way. Things are going good for me though.</p><p> </p><p> Randy Savage are heading into Starrcade as the World Heavyweight Champion, after dethroning Hogan who had been champion for 1 year and 4 months, in a triple threat match at World War 3, also involving Diamond Dallas Page. Savage will now face Flair at Starrcade for the title, while Hogan will end his five month long feud with DDP.</p>

WWF has fallen to Cult as a result of some very poor booking decisions and tv-ratings. I beat them every week in the ratings. But I'm still the #2 company in the world, while WWF is #1... what's the deal? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Or to re-phrase: What factors in the rankings of the companies? Looking at the game world, I should be #1... Doesn't really matter, as I kick WWF's ass every single week, but I just want to know.</p>

Well, if your company is not required to run any storylines, then that won't be a factor.

<p>Popularity also comes into play, even though they are rated MORE on performance. </p><p> That, and storyline heat. </p><p> </p><p> I've had Hogan and Flair score a 79 grade in my Nitro main-event. Both had an in-ring performance of 99, are insanely popular, but they weren't in a storyline together.</p>
