Let's say I'm using a 2017 database, and decide to import AEW into it from a 2019 or 2020 database... I know it will open and all that if I select preferred owners (provided they are not tied up elsewhere). But here's the thing... There is no way to guarantee that AEW will become a sort of powerhouse promotion that they are in real life, and will just hire unpopular indie wrestlers. That's the chance I'll have to take. There's no guarantee they'll hire a Jericho, Rhodes, or Moxley. Or get a TV slot at TNT and so forth. That's fine and all that. My real question is, has any of you done anything like it, and become disappointed with the outcome of the imported company?

Is there a kind sould that would / could create event pics for AEW, for the following events: Winter is Coming New Year's Smash Homecoming Road Rager I thank you in advance!

It's not that I'm trying to make them unhappy intentional, but if I sign a guy, but really have nothing for him to do in the next 12 months, he won't complain?

What is the best main-event you can have in terms of description? I mean, is Strong better than Great? Is there anything above that?

I know there are MANY factors that decides if they will or wont, but a lot of them says that the financial benefits are not worth it... The game should let me offer a retired fighter a contract, before even talking to them, so they could decide from that offer. Declining to come back do to financial benefits, when they don't even know what I'd offer them is kinda weird.

Every time I start a UFC save, I keep booking the same shows as in real life and lose interest before even running the first show. Then I quit, create new save and do the same all over again. I can't seem to play as UFC, but man I really want to!

Maybe a dumb question, but here goes: If you have a fighter signed on an exclusive deal, but he hasn't fought in a while (let's say a year or so), can they become unhappy or demand fights?

Also, why would you use Throwaway shows? I mean, I've done lesser shows, which is pretty much all my shows that's not on PPV. But a throwaway show seems... weird. You're doomed to lose money and popularity.

If a fighter signs a non-exclusive contract with a company, how long needs to pass until he will discuss contract with you? Six months or something like that?

Yeah, it is very realistic but in-game it would get a poor commercial rating, lowering pop gain or even causing you to lose pop. Depending of course on how big your company is.

So basically, it's okay to have a main & co-main, both ranked great or superb, and the fill the rest of the main card with "preliminary" ranked matches?

So... Throwaway shows. To use them or not. I like using my big shows for PPV's, and the Fight Nights as lesser shows, but still the main cards are too weak as I usually save the big names for the PPV's, minus the Fight Nights main-event, and the pop drops because of it. Now, with Throwaway shows you can't gain or lose pop and you can use far less popular fighters. So maybe that is the way to go? Big cards= PPV TV-Shows = Lesser shows Fight Nights = Throwaway shows

If someone won't come out of retirement, is there any chance at all they'd reconsider at a later date? Especially a young fighter?

What are the penalties for not doing drug testing, when holding a show in a non-regulated region (ie. Brazil)?

But yeah, it has to be that. The other big companies only cut 1, maybe 2 people pr. show.

Yeah, I am using an older version, but still... And it's not like we're talking 6 releases a month. It's six releases after each show, and they have like 3 shows pr month.

Yeah... I just found it weird that they cut people like Elias Theodourou, Amanda Bobby Cooper, Thiago Alves and Lina Länsberg after just a single loss.

Cool. I'm playing a real life mod, and MMA is illegal in France, but I have so many French fighters, that I'd like to hold a show there sometime.

It could very well be because the roster is bigger than what the game suggests the AI having for a company their size... Haven't thought about it that way.

Well that didn't work... Set his attribute to patient, then he cuts 6 fighters after the next show.
