  1. Am I the only one that absolutely loathes the Superbowl? Everything about it just angers me, and makes me wish College Football was back on.
  2. Watch ECW. Last show they had around 40 minutes of wrestling in 2 matches total. Very good matches too. Everything is very simple, but it all works very well too. The Yoshi/Goldust/Christian "team" is probably the most compelling, simply because of how they've treated it on the whole. And the Yoshi/Christian match was a great 20/25 minute main event.
  3. Am I the only one who just thinks it was Orton playing up his character? How far off is it to think that the character Randy Orton was pissed that Kofi Kingston, after being beaten by Orton last week, demands a shot at what he believes is rightfully his title? He can somewhat respect John Cena wanting a shot, and putting up with Cena would be worth it, but this bug known as Kofi Kingston wants to keep sucking Randy's life away. And then he had the audacity to team up with Cena in order to beat him, and he couldn't even do that well. He's just a stupid guy who doesn't know what he's doing, and he should have stayed away from Orton to begin with.
  4. You might not have meant it, but you just said Hulk Hogan didn't fill in seats.
  5. Well, this show pretty much put the nail in my "enjoying TNA" coffin. Just absolute garbage, with only one redeeming quality. And the AJ/Angle match wasn't even that good. It was OK. Doesn't make up for anything else though. Oh, wait, the knockouts tag match was OK as well. I don't much care about them, but they did a good job.
  6. I highly doubt that actually happened, but I could imagine it happening. Yoshi seems like the kind of guy who could pull that off, at the least.
  7. Tony Atlas certainly has grown on me, but I still groan everytime that segment comes up.
  8. The Verne Troyer show was bad. Jeremy Piven was bad. They didn't make me feel like this though. Sure Troyer did on his own, but the show itself had a saving grace or two that made it bearable. Like I said, the saving graces of this show weren't nearly enough. And I completely forgot about the 6 man, because nobody cared, it wasn't hyped at all, and took a huge backseat to stupid nonsense like Tiger and Little People's court. And I'll actually say Cena/Swagger should have main evented, because I'm always pro ending with a match rather than a promo/segment/whatever.
  9. This has been, quite honestly, the worst RAW of 2009. Just....unacceptable WWE. This was terrible. Normally RAW has 2/3 things to help save it from being this bad, but Sheamus/MVP and Cena/Swagger can't make up for this. Just....ugh.
  10. I'm actually going to say most people have no idea who he is or why he has the belt. Except for some wrestling fans in Ireland, because I've heard he was pretty good in Irish Whip Wrestling.
  11. They normally have to wear suits at formal company events. If you're just doing like an autograph signing or something, I don't think people care. I also think that Punk has been in and out of the doghouse more than your average canine at this point, if the dirtsheets are to be believed.
  12. Truth? I doubt it. He looks young, he wrestles young, he's pretty over, and he's got above average mic skills. I'm not saying he's "going places" but I wouldn't be surprised to see him mix it up in the main event a few times.
  13. Actually, unless it contradicted with their gimmick, almost every major wrestler had to wear a suit in the 80's, 90's, and this century.
  14. I could be wrong on this, but I was of the understanding that he didn't get his surgery yet, and came back to finish his feud with Batista.
  15. I thought Rey had to get surgery on his knees again, but this time it might actually keep him out of the ring...Was that wrong?
  16. No, I give evidence against your argument. Warrior drew absolutely nothing. I could also churn out a very well known name in Kevin Nash, who in the WWF was built up pretty damn well, and drew even less than Warrior.
  17. All he really has on his side is his look. And even that isn't that special. There are guys bigger than him, guys better than him, and even a guy as pale as him(well...not yet. But AmDrag will be on the main roster soon) so that doesn't amount to a whole lot, especially when the crowd is so "meh" for him.
  18. God damn it. The guy isn't over, he's been here for a couple of months, and while he impressed me, he didn't impress me enough to even win the US title, let alone the WWE ****ing championship. Just....just awful. Why not give that match to DiBiase? Or Rhodes? Or Kingston? Guys who have proved they are good, have gotten over, and have proven they're far more reliable?
  19. If JoMo can keep up the above average promos he should be, but most of the time he just doesn't cut it on the mic. He and Drew...I'm not even going to try to spell his last name right now because I'm positive I'll get it wrong, have good chemistry. Let's hope that shows up at TLC too.
  20. I'm kind of curious and really hoping you guys can provide an answer for me. How is it that Cena is always "carryable" but never "good"? I mean, really? If he was only having good matches with Michaels and Taker I could understand the thought. But when he's having absolutely fantastic matches against Orton, Umaga, Edge, Punk, and putting out good matches against Show, HHH, and even pulling a decent match out of Khali. When does the IWC finally accept him as a legitimately talented performer?
