It would be great if someone, somewhere, would produce a boxing game as deep and accurate as TBCB 2.5. Ideally, TBCB should be updated, but that is not going to happen. I do not think a boxing game as sophisticated as TBCB will appear in my lifetime.
Sadly, totally agree. Often, a lot of great promises but all fall short of TBCB 2.5

If anyone still plays TEW2016 and is interested in Mattywood's 1985 mod; then I have a updated version of the mod.
A updated version of the mod that have custom game world settings for improved realism.
All broadcasters have been replaced with Asaemon's Broadcaster database. This means that broadcasters will evolve, change, rebrand, expand/become smaller, open/close just like in reality from the 80s until current day.
I would love it. I own TEW 2020 but just cannot get into it. How can I get Mattywoods mod?

Just curious if any of you know of any NASCAR text based sims? I am not interested in an arcade, I gotta drive the car, games. I want a game like TBCB, TEW, OOTP, etc. There is a game named Autosim NASCAR from a few years back and I actually like it but there are absolutely no instructions with it nor a sensible place to even discuss it with anyone. Anyone know of a NASCAR sim?

Very excited about the possibilities of this!!! Would love to have a better boxing game. I still play TBCB 2.5. TBCB 2013 is just way too buggy with no support at all! Always wanted the Greydog group would take on a boxing sim!

I used to remember this, but I am running a real world mod that starts in 1985. I only want real players to debut. I am getting Fictional players being generated at the beginning of each month. How do I stop that? I seem to remember that it has something to do with pictures.
What do I need to do to stop them from being created? Thank you so much!

Sorry for the silence! I've taken a full-time outside gig in the last few months, and this has sucked up a fair amount of my time. Tne game has had the first 4 screens finished, along with the boxer generation code, so it'll still happen, but it may take longer than I planned. No vaporware here!

I have a 1985 save that has progressed to mid 1987. I started off as Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. I have purchased Central States Wrestling and Florida's CWF. I pillaged them and now have three brands: MACW, CSW, CWF. with Flair as the traveling World Champ
I am thinking of having Magnum TA go on a year tear winning all the Regional Titles to force Flair to give him a World Title Shot. It will be a year long plan. I had the RnR Express feuding with Arn and Tully for the World Tag Titles, but lost Gibson to an 8 month injury, so Magnum and Dusty won the World Tag Titles from Arn and Tully. Going to let that play out for a bit, then thinking of feuding TA with Flair. Flair will refuse because he doesn't see Magnum as the NO 1 contender.
Thinking of having Magnum go on a belt collector spree winning the MACW, CSW, CWF and US Titles, maybe even the World TV Title to force Flair to face him.
Of course, I would give TA an eventual win over Flair becoming NWA World champ. Then the question is what do I do with all the other titles? I still want to have the three brand territories. Thinking I might have Magnum vacate all of the other titles to focus on the World Title allowing for tournaments for all the other belts.
Yeah, it is difficult to come up with a good way to get all the belts off of a belt collector.

It is being worked on, an announcement with some early screens and game name should be put up soon. It slowed a bit with some recent family issues, but should be picking up shortly again.
