1. We don't want a claim, we just want something. Checking in and then going Awol is... let's be polite (to myself) and say a distraction. If we leave this distraction then we may be back tomorrow (unless we get lucky with night abilities). I was glad I was lynched after I went AWOL, as I didn't want to be a distraction in the following phase.

    On that basis.

    I second this.

He also said hed be around if we need him, and now the phase is almost over, and he never came back.

  3. In my experience (all of which is real life, more signals to pick up on), it's worth it on day 1 if there's a hunch that's valid. But my forum experience (which is just watching the previous game) says you can run out of town way too fast. So hard to say at this point what to do, if anything.

Anyone voting for non-silly "stereotypical day 1" reasons?

Playing werewolf in person, I started really going for day 1 lynches. It was easier to make people break and frantically defend themselves in person. Not so much on forums.

It was also easier to achieve day 1 lynches and pressure in person.

I'm all for day 1 motions, but I remember it not going so well on here.

And I tried playing MW3 and did not like it. But I enjoy Black Ops 2.

I also had Battlefield 3 and hated it as well.

I was thinking about getting COD: Ghosts, does anyone know if it's any good? I don't want to get it if it's going to suck. But I do want a new game.

  8. I hated GTA IV. It was boring. I started playing when Grand Theft Auto 2 came out. Then got into 3, Vice City, and San Adreas(my personal favorite).

4 did nothing for me. The story was boring and the main character was a snooze fest.

Anyone into Saints Row? The first game was ok, but Saints Row 2 was amazing. I can't wait for the third one.

my dad bought the three pack of GTA: 2, Vice city and San Andreas.

  9. Hey! The original ones rocked too! That's what I grew up on!

I can't stand the graphics. And those games weren't around anymore when I was little.

I am also not a fan of the GTA series, especially since I can't play it while my kids are still up!

My dad plays games like that around me and my sister.

I've beaten the first Super Mario Galaxy, just not 100%. :D What I mean is that I've beaten all the bosses, I just haven't gotten all of the stars.

I got 60 stars. I am trying to save Peach.

  10. I am a staunch 'not fan' of the GTA series. It's not my kind of thing. The driving is pretty good, but the combat and shooting is pure amateur hour. I'm not all that big a fan of free-roaming either. I'm playing Fallout 3 right now, and struggling to stay into it because of the lack of clear direction (also, the world Cup is distracting me) and the action in that is something I find actually fun. I like things linear I guess.

I like running around shooting people. Except old people. And I also have a hard time stabbing people or hitting people with shovels, it's just too violent for me. Especially when you slit someone's throat with the knife and see the blood squirt out

  11. Nah, my only console of this gen that I have (that's not portable) is a Wii. (Changes discussion yet again) Has anybody played Super Mario Galaxy 2 yet? And yes, I have almost always been loyal to Nintendo consoles (what can I say? They've all been superb consoles IMO).

I want super mario galaxy 2! Has anyone beaten the first one? I am at the last stage and it's making me mad. I keep losing at stupid parts, that I shouldn't lose at.

  12. Nah. (Changes discussion again)

Anyone else exicted for Fable 3 and Arkham Asylum 2. God I am a geek.

Never even heard of them -_- (Changes discussion again.)

I don't even know of any other games anyone here would be familiar with...... Gosh I am such a kid.

  13. Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and Wario Land 4 are the three games that I'm looking at.

(Never played any of those games. Starts new conversation)

Anyone play the Grand Theft Auto series?

  14. With the 4th coming up, is it weird that I hope for rain? I love it when it rains on holidays, because it screws up other people's plans. Yes I am that petty.:D

That's very nice of you :) I wanna grow up to be just like you :p

I hope it rains in your house. :p

    Lol :p

Last night (THis morning really) when I was watching Eclipse people were getting on my nerves they kept "woo"ing, "Woot"ing "Ooooh"ing "Aaaah"ing and clapping. And they kept saying Oooh he's hot -_- Can't I watch a movie without everyone being loud?

And it's obvious none of them read the books.

Also I thought all the vampires were ugly in the sage 'till I saw Riley, he's pretty cute :)

  15. The recent trend of werewolves being glorified shapeshifters bugs me a lot. I'm sure there's other literature that deals with that too. Southern Vampire Mysteries and the Twilight Series are guilty of this big time. I love the Southern Vampire Mystery books, and I really love True Blood but I've always considered Werewolves to be more upright man-wolf hybrids...like this:

    http://www.werewolves.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/spell.jpg

Werewolf= Man that can shift into either a wolf or a werewolf form.

Shapeshifter= Man that can shift into a wolf form.

In the very last book Edward tells the other vamps the pack isn't of werewolves but of Shapeshifters. ANother small thing Edward does that ticks Jake off.

  16. I like you so much now. :)

I prefer the books over the movies. The books are great if you liked the movies at all.

I got into the books just before Twilight came out. My friend talked me into reading them. I read the whole series before I watched any movies. I am glad I did.

  17. I actually didn't mind the first two Twilight movies. Bit dull, but mostly harmless. Vampires have come in many forms over the years, and a lot of the versions have links to sexuality. The Twilight version is simply that, tailored to how teenage girls view love and sexual urges.

I am also on Team Jacob, by the way.

I like the second one better when Edward actually leaves.

    Haha me too :D

  18. Reminds me of the song "dude looks like a lady"

Taylor Lautner Is a lot better. Robert Pattinson was not very good for the role of Edward. Also Kristen Stewart really kills the role of Bella for me. No emotions at all in her acting.

I started singing the song in my head when I read the line as well Mlt :)

I watched another movie with Kristen stewart in it. One of the nora roberts movies. I think it was Carolina Moon. She is a really bad actor.

Taylor Lautner almost got replaced because he didn't have enough muscle.

  19. R-Patz is related to Dracula. Also I hate Twilighters. I hate how they obsess over everything. Vampires aren't supposed to be cool, damnit!

I don't obsess over everything like most do. Unless you call wanting to see it at midnight when it comes out obsessing :D

  20.:eek::eek: It has been revealed. Now wonder. The Dude looks like a lady.

    He sounds like one too.

Never saw the appeal of Robert Pattinson. Well, I kinda do, he's playing a popular character, so the lust for Edward translates into lust for Pattinson, but... The dude looks constantly stoned to me. I don't know, maybe that's the 'in' thing for teenage girls right now. I'm not exactly on the cutting edge of these things. Maybe I should hang around teenage girls more often.

Well reading the books Edward was ok (I guess so if you pick what the characters look like.)... But I prefer the furry warewolf.

But watching the movie, Edward is just plain ugly
