You can change the background colour here:

http://i.imgur.com/By7Ouqa.jpg

You could probably use Genesis, but I haven't used it enough to help there.

Recommended assets:

Channing beard for M4 or M4 Beard or M5 Beard (getting the fit right can be awkward on an M4 character)

Fantasy Beard

Any hair by April or Neftis

Uber Surface

Uber Environment

Lighting

I use 5 different light sources, but its best to experiment (or use light sets you find online). The only important thing to do is to change Shadow Type from none to either Deep Shadow Map (faster) or Raytraced. This is vital to making a render not look plastic.

Add UberEnvironment to a lighting set to add some realism, with intensity set to about 5%

UberSurface

Add this at the very end of the rendering process by selecting the entire M4 model in the Scene tab, then selecting from Lip to SkinLeg in the surfaces tab, then CTRL+DblClick on the UberSurface prop. In the dropdown that pops up, change 'Replace' to 'Ignore' .

Add Subsurface shading (30%), Velvet (30%) and Sepcular/Specular2 both set to 5% White. Again, play around with these to suit your liking.

Other tips for Daz usage:

Enable the Surfaces tab, parameters tab, content library tab and scene tab. These are all pretty vital tabs to have. If one of those isn't there, you can enable it by going to Window > Panels (Tabs)

It can also be quite expensive getting all the assets to work with legally. Good luck though!

I don't want to argue because I like you but when we've established for the last seven years a certain way of doing something I don't think we should just say "oh well who cares". If you don't mind it then I'm sure people will happily PM you requests since you know you can just ignore it if you don't wanna do it but I think the threads should maintain the same gentlemens agreement they've had for nearly the last decade. Again I like ya but I don't agree with ignoring the rules that have been in place for as long as I've been here. It says on the first page requests NOT being accepted at this time. When it happens in any other thread the people that requested it get the same response they did here. Requests are not being accepted, it says so on the first page and so therefore its not unreasonable to expect that guideline to be followed. Obviously I'm not the only one that feels that way or it wouldn't have been posted in the first thread and I wouldn't have been agreed with when I made my original post.

The rule of this thread has always been not to expect requests to be granted, but if you go back to even the 2010 topic when I made it, we did plenty of renders at the request of people. If people wanna gently nudge us in the direction of certain characters, no harm, no foul. Keeps the topic on the front page if nothing else. All the front page means really is that JSilver isn't taking requests at this time, which I totally get. But for me, I barely play the games anymore but enjoy making the occasional render, so I like being able to deliver something of value to someone.

There is not a render request thread at this time so I would suggest taking the requests to the inboxes of your favorite artist and hope they give you what you're exactly looking for. Don't mean to lash out but this is about the fourth or fifth one of these "render the WWE into the C Verse" requests we've had and last I checked thats not really what this thread is about.

Who cares, people can ignore a post if they don't wanna do it. As long as there's no constant re-asking I see no harm in it being there. Pm requests are the worst, since potentially only one person will ever see or use it

This has nothing at all to do with him being called Daniel Wyatt and looking like Duke "The Dumpster" Droese's son after fans in Seattle hijacked the main event segment and chanted for him instead of Cena or Orton.

Not at all.

http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af173/ewanite/dbrypng_zps185555c7.png

http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af173/ewanite/DanielBryan_zps12265394.jpg
