1. I was hoping for some lucha stuff, man. Hurricana's, planchas, you name it.
 2. Pretty much. TNA's poor man's version of Cactus Jack/masked Kane, in my opinion. And I've gone back and watched earlier footage and takes on his character. Not that appealing.
 3. I lurk there every now and then, but I'm mostly a wrestlezoner and here.
 4. http://boards.420chan.org/wooo/src/1290509105703.png All I'm going to say is this:
 5.

Oh I get the problem - but it has been done before. They did it with Shamrock, who had a decent run at the top end of the WWE for a while. They also did it to a lesser extent with Dan Severn and Steve Blackman. ECW did it with Taz (even going so far as having him choke out former UFC fighter Paul Varelans) and WCW did it with Tank Abbott, before they had him dancing with 3 count. If you push it, you could even say that they did it with Kurt Angle, another guy who went from a 'real' sport to a 'fake' one.

WCW also did it with Jerry Flynn and Goldberg.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqBvarUml90

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43LjkIizWIU

 6. Who saw the Reaction fight between the Gen-Me and the MCMG? That **** was just balls out crazy.

That cage will fall and Cookie is going to get hurt from this stunt. They couldn't just ban her from ringside with the stipulation that if she does, Robbie is stripped of the title?

 9. Go back two pages and you'll find my post. If you're actually reading each page as you claim, then you'll know I've professed a liking of current TNA product. I am however, furious that they would do such a thing as throw their championship in the trash. What purpose does that serve, other than denigrate those who won it? Why not simply announce the belt change and produce the new one, rather than doing a disservice to the old?
 10. ... You know guys, I'm starting to see what you all meant by continual disapointment.

As a matter of fact a lot of people wanted them gone since they add very little to the shows now days but Dixie re upped them anyway. Current rumors have them doing singles runs as heel and face and possibly feud with one another. No matter their plans they just reupped.

They could just be working as road-agents. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

But a lot of us will have to see it to believe it.

Now don't think I'm saying you shouldn't let it play out and see where it goes. I'm glad you have the energy to do that. Just letting you know how much you don't know at the moment. Things sound like they are starting to ease in the right direction but I'm skeptical until further notice.

I guess you guys will. I'm perfectly understanding over where you guys are coming from. You've been burned plenty of times, and it seems like its just another burn coming your way. I apologise if I came off as condescending in any way when I said it, but I'm generally optimistic when it comes to wrestling, so who knows? <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Obviously our tastes are different.

Obviously. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I don't need or want to see 60 year old Hulk Hogan as the anti establishment heel, I don't want or need to see Jeff Jarrett in yet ANOTHER main event stable where apparently he's on the screen the whole time.

Anti-Establishment? Isn't he the establishment at the moment? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> And Jarrett can still go rather well from what I've seen, not to mention Immortal needs numbers. Right now its Hardy/Abyss/Jarrett in terms of non-Fortune wrestlers, who are already splintering.

Abyss derailing the Pope? Didn't Fortune derail this guy last year?

I meant Kayfabe derailing. Stopping him from his mission against Immortal and his fight. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Last year the Pope was the hottest act in the country and going into his title shot he might have been the biggest or second biggest baby they had. What is he doing now? The SAME stuff he was doing in March, playing the upper mid card, every once in a while main eventer. This Immortal stuff should have elevated him to the top of the company, instead we got a flash Matt Morgan turn (which I was ok with) and Pope is still left feuding with lackey's and what not before his eventual world title shot will be at some throw away pay per view. I know you're knew but you have to understand Pope has been upper mid card, teasing main event for nine months now. At some point you have to pulll the damn trigger and give the guy the biggest story in the company.

Maybe. But here's the thing. Its not about Pope alone. Look at all the major faces. Each and every single one of them is going alone. Anderson, Pope, Angle, Joe, etc... None of them are unified, and I'm expecting down the line that they will all do so, with or without Dixie Carter. And to be honest, I'm fine with Morgan getting the shot at Turning Point, because as much as I like him, someone needs to lose to Hardy and put over his reign, so why not him, while Pope is conquering Abyss.

You're making a common TNA mistake. You're reading dirt sheets and trying to predict TNA's future. Just because their contracts are coming up doesn't mean anything. Sabu is likely done but I'm sure Rhino will get resigned. Also there is ZERO indication that Raven and Dreamer are "headed for backstage roles" their still as prevalent on the screen as the day they came in.

Maybe I am. Who knows?

As far as has been's still wrestilng? Where do I count the ways. Jeff Jarrett, Team 3D, Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Rhino, Mick Foley, I'm sure I could go on but I haven't watched in over a month now.

Foley isn't regularily wrestling though. Team 3D is retiring at Turning Point. Sabu and Rhino appear to have their contracts coming up. That leaves Raven, Dreamer and Jarrett.

To me though you come across as a guy that says "I don't mind 2000 WCW that much, sure they weren't great but they were on the right track before this or that happened".

You pegged me somewhat correctly. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Watching back to 2000, I both liked some stuff and get so furious with the things they easily got wrong.

TNA fans sometimes fall into a trap of defending the company because their fans of it and so they make excuses for the silly, non sensical things that they do both on and off screen.

Yeah, that's very true. Kinda pisses me off whenever I try to say anything about TNA good or bad. LOL YOU STUPID WWE MARK! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

To say there are hardly any has been in the company when there is an entire STABLE of has beens who currently have been kicking the young guy "elite" stable's but for months now. Well thats just silly.

To be honest, I kinda forgot about E.V when I wrote it. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

As far as the X Division, again that Jersey Shore guy is feuding with Jay Lethal over the title right? One Jay Lethal was the hottest act not named Pope in the company. Wasn't he feuding with Ric Flair, AJ Styles, and at the time the only main event faction there was? Now he's wrestling the Jersey Shore guy? This guy should be in Pope's spot now. He should be the guy that every heel has to go through to get to the main event scene. Instead he's stuck in some silly feuding, with a meaningless championship, fighting against a bad Zack Ryder rip off.

The other guy might be talented but answer me this is he Homicide talented? Is he Amazing Red talented? Is he Jerry Lynn talented (before), Low Ki, Chris Sabin, even Brian Kendrick, Shannon Moore, Christopher Daniels, so many guys have been in and around this X Division championship in the past, Joe, Styles, etc and you look at all those names are you really prepared to put THAT guys name on that list of elite, game changing, in ring superstars? To coin a phrase I don't think so.

Are you prepared to give him the chance you gave Homicide, Sabin, Daniels and Low Ki? Because it doesn't seem like it. Those guys were unknowns before they joined ROH and TNA. 8 years ago, were you saying : "The other guy might be talented but answer me this is he Guerrero talented? Is he Helms talented? Is he Guerrera talented (before), Psicosis, Misterio, even Kid Romeo, Shannon Moore, Evan Karagias, so many guys have been in and around the cruiserweight championship in the past..." Or did you give them the chance to prove you wrong?

Lastly you mention the Knockouts Division being ok as is and just needs some padding? So you really think that Mickie James vs. Victoria a feud that could have happened in 2006 in the WWE is the best way to go? I'm sorry but you really think the BP's really hold a candle to Kong, Allisa Flash, Gail Kim even ODB? You really think so?

Gail Kim botches like no other. Alissa Flash didn't really do much without Kong. ODB is indeed missed. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> And as for Mickie versus Victoria, its a ready-made storyline with a lot of emotion in it. Would you prefer they ignored the history of every wrestler who's wrestled outside TNA? "The 0-Time World Champion, Ric Flair..." Sometimes people come into the company with well known storylines outside it. It happens, and they can take advantage of it.

Again you're new to TNA but the entire POINT of the Knockouts Division, much like the X Division is to be DIFFERENT give the fans the womens wrestling they can't see on the other channel. You really think a bunch of plastic blondes with little in the way of actual in ring talent and a bunch of WWE cast offs is really something different than what we're seeing on the other channel?

Hey, I've watched a lot of TNA's older years, so please don't put words in my mouth. While the Beautiful People aren't as good wrestling wise as ODB or Kong (both of whom I miss back in TNA), they're still pretty good wrestling wise.

Same with the X Division, the championship used to be about putting two guys in the ring with jaw dropping, in ring charisma and skill that could pull off moves the likes of which we've never seen. Now they got Zack Ryder 2.0 feuding for it? It becomes just another title at that point with zero meaning behind it.

Haven't a lot of the wrestlers there "graduated" for a lack of a better word? AJ, MCMG, Lethal Consquences, etc... ? Did you want them to stay there forever like Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko, Jericho did in the Cruiserweight Division? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Anyway like it if you want but like you said you're new to TNA, the things we're complaining about have nothing to do with Immortal aside from JJ, their storyline pacing, or even for the most part who's being pushed aside from a few glaringly obvious snafus.

Fair enough. I apologise for making any insinuations.

The people in this thread who are complaining are complaining because it's been the same set of issues for years.

So I've been told.
 13.
I think a lot of you guys are just complaining at the mo'. I'm an new TNA fan. Yes, I didn't like the Immortal thing at BFG, but considering its not fully played out, I'm willing to give it a shot. Matt Morgan's face turn, is something I liked, especially because I'm a mark for the big guy. There aren't that many old WWE has-beens in there anymore wrestling, unless you're counting Kurt Angle as one. Jeff's heel turn is actually turning out to be pretty interesting, Abyss is doing his job by derailing the Pope's mission against Immortal, and Mickie James and Victoria are settling their **** in the ring.

Sure, the X-Division needs some building, but when the Lucha guys come in from AAA they'll boost the division, not to mention the women's division just needs a little more padding and its perfectly fine as is. The old guys in ECW are getting phased out for the most part, since Sabu and Rhino both have contracts expiring soon, while Raven and Tommy are definitly going backstage more while RVD will be the only guy left wrestling.

 14. I hope they'd offer them contracts. The X-Division and the Knockouts really need depth.
 15. If that's legit then **** Matt. Because nobody should do **** like that just to get fire. Man, Rey should be pissed as all hell.
