  1. I propose a slight redesign of the tag team page. With the bigger window, more information can fit, so I think the addition of each teams last five matches would be wonderful. This would make it easier to keep track of how the teams have been booked recently.

This isn't the best photoshop in the world, but as you can see, there is plenty of room for a scroll bar for titles and a "last five matches" list.

  2. I like to think of this as The Pineapple Pete Principle.

If you bring in a local talent or a worker on any other one-appearance deal, upon appearing on television, they debut a gimmick. Perhaps it's really good, marketable, etc. Now they have more value to your company, and now you want to sign them to a full-time contract. I think you all know where I'm going with this.

The deal is signed, but since they left your company, they now need to "re-debut" their gimmick. This isn't completely realistic, as we've seen numerous people earn contracts based on how their gimmick got over in their tryout.

I don't exactly know what I'm asking for, though. Maybe some sort of way to preserve that gimmick for X number of days, whether that be 14 or 28? I'm not sure of the best way to implement it, I just know that fans remember the gimmick that debuted last week, especially if they liked it.

  3. Alter egos are (and always have been) independent of the worker's gimmick/overness. He'll have the same momentum and gimmick whichever alter ego he's using.

Alter egos are not designed to be used all in one company.

Yes, but with the debut of on-the-fly booking perhaps this is something that should be considered for a future iteration. Seems like the two should have gone hand in hand, especially since he was redoing the gimmick system anyway.

  7. Easiest way I've found to differentiate:

On-screen = this was filmed especially for this segment, the worker gets paid for showing up to film it even if he does nothing else. Whether it's pre-taped or not, if he specifically showed up to film something, even if he's only doing a voice-over, he's on-screen.

Off-screen = the worker doesn't get paid for that segment if he's not otherwise booked on the show. It's either footage edited together from other things, or he's not actually on the show (like being mentioned in someone else's promo).

Off-screen would be hype videos, highlight reels, being mentioned in a promo you don't appear in, any footage you've already recorded being shown again ("Last week on Raw!", "Earlier tonight!").

Of course, if you want him to be rated on anything other than Overness, the decision is made for you (he has to be on screen).

This makes so much sense, and also confirms that I had been using them correctly, so that's even better! Thank you so much D-Lyrium! :)

  8. I'm still really confused about the whole Off-Screen thing.

When is a worker considered on-screen? Is it when a worker is physically in front of the live audience (e.g. in the ring, on the ramp, etc.) or are they on-screen anytime they are physically visible by the viewer at home?

Specifically its things like the old "The following announcement has been paid for by the New World Order" promos. Is that off-screen overness or on-screen entertainment?

That of course opens Pandora's Box, though. Razor Ramon driving a car, on-screen entertainment. Jeff Jarrett playing at a Nashville bar, on-screen entertainment.

Where does it end? Is this the path I am supposed to take?

  9. I'd love to see someone IMPORTANT join the Dark Order to give the group an actual feud. So far, everyone has turned them down. I still think one of SCU (Daniels) should've joined before eventually being "redeemed." I suppose it wasn't possible without the Exalted One being revealed yet, but I digress. Someone from some team has to turn in order to give the group any sort of credibility. Jobbers turning isn't cutting it. Even if someone like Marko Stunt flips ("I'm so tired of getting beat up week after week and you two are never there until after they hurt me!") so the Jurassic Express has to bring back their friend, it's still a good story.

This would be such good television.

Vader can't be tapping out to Shamrock every week.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This got skipped a couple pages ago, so allow me to clarify my question.</p><p> </p><p> I've always struggled with monsters and giants. If I have a guy like Vader, I find him far more difficult to book than he should be. For him to be booked as a dominant force, then seemingly by definition he needs to run through the roster facing little resistance along the way. In reality, him losing clean, especially by submission, would hurt the mystique of the character. Are there any game mechanics that makes him less valuable if he loses clean on occasion? If he taps out in a match, does it make him less effective in his role, or is this one of those scenarios where the game is just a string of numbers, and I'm overthinking everything again?</p>
