  1. The difference between Lesnar and Cena selling the curbstomp. (couldn't find Cena's Raw gif but he sells the same) http://i.imgur.com/i324Jiu.gifhttp://dailywrestlingnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Curb-stomp-RAW-gifs-001_001.gif
  2. Playing the race card to me is "They don't push me because I'm (insert race)!" when it isn't true but personally I believe it is true from how WWE has always been. Del Rio can only talk about his experience and what he has experience first hand. If he tried to stand up for black wrestlers he would need a black wrestler to speak out as well otherwise if just makes it seem he's trying to speak for others. Slapping the guy I don't see as playing the race card. No one ever denied that he wasn't a racist and from the news that have come out about him that wasn't the first time he had said stuff like that. Del Rio shouldn't have slapped him but that isn't playing the race card. I'm pretty sure the comments aren't as clear as they are in my head but basically saying he's playing the race card implies he's pretending he's a victim as least that's how i see it.
  3. Same here. Looks more compact without any major changes like 411 mania had.
  4. Renee is very hit or miss imo. Putting her with Lawler or JBL would probably be the same as putting her with Alex Riley in that it just becomes BAD mild flirting and gossiping with her being a big part of it.
  5. Here's a quick PRIDE Koiso so that he doesn't look too boring next to Iceisle's Rainmaker Kozue http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss210/ricky696119/PRIDEKoisoBiker_zpsf7e4b173.jpghttp://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss210/ricky696119/ykzjNn_zps5f42aabb.jpg These ones have different eye color through it isn't that noticeable http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss210/ricky696119/PRIDEKoisoGreen_zps37f978a5.jpghttp://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss210/ricky696119/PRIDEKoisoGray_zpsdc6a7199.jpghttp://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss210/ricky696119/PRIDEKoisoBlue_zpsf3363f03.jpghttp://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss210/ricky696119/PRIDEKoisoPurple_zps10585a31.jpg Don't really know what to do to position the glasses better so if someone wants to improve them or wants the psd files i'll be happy to send them Edit: Here's Akinori http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss210/ricky696119/AkinoriKwakamiSwat_zps9e869563.jpg I however have no idea what to do with this Tetsunori render (those teeth! ). If nothing else I'll have him imitate Akinori as a tag team. Seriously the lack of aggression or coolness in his face just makes me blank out. http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss210/ricky696119/TetsunoriYasuda_zps61769fea.jpg
  6. I have to agree with Jaysin in the I love the new look. Simple and the darkened arena keeps the attention on the ring and the wrestlers. Plus the grey ring ropes are a nice touch.
  7. I think the mentality in the USA is too different for NJPW to catch on to a mainstream audience. To smarks like us yeah but to everyone else no. WWE's ahead due to sacrificing their future for their present. If John Cena was injured badly enough to take a long extended break or retire WWE has no one to support the entire roster. Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin had other main eventers (Savage, The Rock) around them. John Cena has only himself. They basically spend the last 10 years building around Cena and the WWE brand that they are synonymous. No Cena no WWE. No WWE no Cena.
  8. If I remember correctly I think Del Rio mentioned he only fought those MMA bouts for the money. So I don't really think he was trying to make a career out of it.

I'm guessing his influence is more overall than show to show things. Still him and whoever is the writer are the ones that deserve the credit.</p>
  10. You can also add non-steam games like TEW to the program so you can launch everything from it.
  11. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lazorbeak" data-cite="lazorbeak" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I just didn't understand the idea that everything had to revolve around belts, which I guess wasn't what dj was trying to say. I mean if you've got workers that are talented and over, there's lots of things for them to fight over that allow for storytelling more nuanced than "that guy has a belt and I want it," such that even if the belt is involved, it's not really a story <em>about</em> the belt.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I have no problems with Rollins vs Ambrose feuds where the characters have history (even someone attacking a higher profile wrestler to make a name for himself works or even to get a PPV match/money) and are feuding because of it but instead it's more of the idea that basically everyone forgets about the titles until it's their turn to challenge. No one tries to earn championship opportunities. No one has any character motivations. Why does Ziggler want the IC title back? Because he lost it? After eliminating 4 members of Team Authority he should be demanding World Title Shots not moving back down to the IC title. The announcers keep saying how awesome that match was but everyone including Ziggler himself ignores it. So it becomes an unchanging status quo.</p><p> </p><p> You can tell me how badass/cool/good/evil a character is over and over but if all he does is scratch his balls he's going to be the balls scratching guy no matter what.</p>
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lazorbeak" data-cite="lazorbeak" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>But why? Why should all stories revolve around belts? Is there really any reason beyond "it's a really easy story to tell"? I mean I understand it's symbolic and that it's something you give to the guy that you're telling the fans is your best guy, but what about all the other belts? I'm loving Lucha Underground right now, and while I assume there will eventually be some kind of belt, this current status quo has been a really fun change.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Lucha Underground is establishing NEW characters. WWE has a decades long history behind it. IMO it's not fair to compare the storylines to each other. The character development and backstage interactions sure but storylines no.</p><p> </p><p> Going to Title storylines. The World Championship should have a different meaning to everyone.</p><p> </p><p> The Miz - The title was him proving he wasn't a joke.</p><p> CM Punk - The title made him the Best In The World.</p><p> Daniel Bryan - He was a Main Event Player.</p><p> </p><p> The belt is a prop. But it should be a meaningful prop. The thing that heroes and villains want. Be it for glory or money everyone should want the belt.</p><p> </p><p> The midcard titles should be what other wrestlers use to put themselves in title contention. Defend it constantly and use it to rise up the ranks. Use their positions as title holders to become and talk to the world champion and former world champions as equals.</p><p> </p><p> The tag titles are about friendships, teamwork and alliances be it the The Usos' family bonds or Cesaro/Kidd deciding to become a tag team to refocus their careers.</p><p> </p><p> The belts should be important because they conflict between wrestler's that don't have history behind them and create reasons for them to interact.</p>
  13. I don't mind him not appearing but I just hate that he basically disappears from WWE. No video packages, vignettes, etc. He's The Champion. Everyone should be looking to get a title shot against him. They should talk about him and keep him fresh instead of forgetting about him until it's time to defend his title. He doesn't need to show up every week or even wrestle every show but instead they should show videos of him working out and how much of a badass monster he is. Lesnar is this unstoppable beast who can and will destroy anyone who they put in front of him. I was expecting Lesnar to beat Cena and then have him wrestle guys like Orton, Sheamus, Cesaro, Ambrose and whatever other face/heel they are able to build up between two PPV's. Losing to Lesnar doesn't hurt anyone if they present him as a monster and if the opponent puts up a fight then he comes out looking like a fighter.
  14. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="milamber" data-cite="milamber" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Even the Cageside reviewer refused to do a full review of Raw it was so bad. Although he did praise Lesnar's return and that was only because Jericho was unbearable and deserved to be F5'd by Lesnar. Seriously, Jericho was one photoshop gag away from equalling Cena at his worst. <strong>Only Rock can get away with pulling that crap (like his segment with Rusev & Lana a while back).</strong></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I would say it's 50/50 with The Rock. Sometimes he goes too far in trying to be funny than actually being funny.</p><p> </p><p> #KungPowBitch#CookiePuss#GAYJOKESAREHILARIOUS</p>
  15. <p>I just want my babyfaces to be more Sami Zayn and less Cena. I want them to have the moral high ground not be douchebags who try to prove how tough they are by fighting f-ing Paul Heyman. If Jericho wanted to get to Rollins then he could wrestle Noble and Mercury. It was the same bs with Cena saying "I'm not gonna be evil because of the children. So instead I'm going to kidnap and later beat up this fat 49 year old man if I don't get what I want!"</p><p> </p><p> Moving to Rusev he has talked shit about America and Americans yet has fought and defeated everyone cleanly. His last two feuds were with Mark Henry and Big Show who said they represented America, lost cleanly to Rusev and then turned heel. Not to mention Rusev was the one getting jumped by both babyface Henry and Show. </p><p> </p><p> Rusev is one of the few characters who has been consistent in who he is. He's the Russian Super Athlete who proves he's a wrestling machine week after week. He doesn't force people to pledge allegiance to Russia or call women streetwalkers (Jericho) and then calls for backup like a coward.</p><p> </p><p> Rusev entire character is centered on being a badass Russian and Anti-American. I'm not xenophobic enough to hate someone just because they dislike my country. I need reasons. Real reasons. Being Russian is not one of them.</p><p> </p><p> EDIT: Forgot to add this but "unwashed cab driver"...Racism is a heel trait. I'm pretty sure the guy being called racist terms is always the face no matter the situation.</p>
  16. WWE High by the guys who do Total Drama Island. I think it's a great concept as long as they don't tie it in too much to the Main Roster unless it's a major change. http://www.wwe.com/f/wysiwyg/image/2014/11/20141126_Article_WWEHigh_10_GROUP.jpg
  17. Seriously. The only reason he's depicted as a heel is because of xenophobia. Probably the most heelish thing in his entire career was when they tried to force HIM to swear allegiance to America.
  18. Blitz is looking a little more clayish? rubbery? than his teammates. Love them btw. I have an passport activated Japaneses company and it would be cool to bring them three as a unit.
  19. It was the previous show where Sasha and Becky attack Bailey's knee. Then Bailey comes out in crutches to trash talk her worst enemy 5 feet away from her.
