  1. Time changes the response, I also think the way you use them does too. Usually when I push a smaller worker then he will be willing to bump up to heavyweight.

Thanks. I've pushed him to ME and my main title is middleweight and above. This guy is lightweight and can go as high as middleweight so I guess I'll just have to keep asking every month or so and hope for the best.

Another question does anyone know the mechanics regarding selling and match length? My ME keep getting dinged for lack of selling. The workers I use have around c+\b- selling and the matches go for about 30/35 minutes.

  3. I was having about four to five matches with one sometimes being a tag match. Lost on average 7k per month. I ended up bitting the bullet in Jan 17 and sold the boot camp. That was costing me 5k a month. I've started turning a small profit of a few hundred dollars a month ever since. Didn't really want to do that but it seemed the only way no to go out of business.

  5. <p>Looking for some advice on how to stay afloat with MAW. This is my first game as the company in 2016 version of TEW. I'm losing money every month and taking a whooping in the regional battles to boot. I'm in May and already starting to worry I'll go out of Business. I lost around 10k in Jan bringing in Nicolas Lopes for the RCI then I've lost around 7k each month after. I haven't raised any production values. The economy is around mid 30's and rising and the industry is a solid B. I'm probably only using around half my roster each show and booking one show a month. I've hired no new talent and I don't think anyone has downsides in their contracts. Every month when I save a little more on wages I gain less from sponsors. I don't want to do anything gamey like release my announce team, plus they have great chemistry <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.</p><p> </p><p>

Is it just a matter of time before I gain more sponsorship money or do I have to find away to cut costs? my momentum is tanking and my best show is a 36 the lowest was 30 I think. my best match was 52 and best angle 54 off memory. If It was not for the production being so mediocre in comparison to my rivals my shows would be scoring mid to high 40's I'm sure. I feel that with my lack of growth I will struggle to make the money to raise the values It seems like a vicious cycle. I'm really enjoying this game early on and I don't want to go bust. has anyone had similar problems and if so how long did it take you to steady the ship and how did you do so?</p>

  6. Already had it in my game folder so it was nothin!

You wouldn't happen to have the other renders by Jtlant and Shipshirt that came out around the same time with blue backgrounds would you?

The Jtlant ones I'm looking for are Mr Lucha III, Rayne Man, Aces High and Cali Slick.

The Shipshirt renders are Sammy Smoke, Black Hat Bailey, Purto Rican Power, Remo and Johnny Martin.

If you had them handy In your game folder and could share the link that would be amazing. :D

  7. <p>Every case off depression is different and is personal to the person suffering. Things that help one person may make the next person worse. I've found over the years that certain things help me and others lead to bouts of depression. The one thing that we all share are the symptoms. Lonleyness, worthlessness, self hate and a complete lack of motivation to name a few. It's a mental illness no different an illness to cancer or a broken bone you can just snap out of cancer nor can you run on a broken bone but it is mental. It's in your head. It's in my head but I can't stop it. I just live with it and I live in pain. I don't take meds. I refuse to. I don't believe in them. I tried them and they failed me. I'm in pain I would try anything to make the pain stop. I've worked out how to dull the pain to a level I can live with. Not always is it dull but if I behave a certain way and do certain things it helps, other things bring it out. I've learned this over time and I hope I can help others by sharing my experiences. </p><p> </p><p>

Getting diagnosed helps me understand that my behaviour is normal because I'm ill. I talk to myself out loud and I have ticks. It makes life awkward to say the least. Some people understand and support me, others think I'm putting it on or attention seeking. I don't really understand their logic as it's unbearably embarrassing. What I do when I feel weird is read my diagnosis and it helps me feel less weird and alone. Understanding the illness is a great help to me. There is help out there you just need to find it. There is ways to live with this you just have to find what fits you. Suicide would hurt a lot of people after you've gone. There are ways to dull the pain. To do that you just need to force yourself to find the ways that work for you.</p>

  8. <p>I don't know how to beat depression. I can't tell you how to make the pain stop or give you the secrets of happiness but you can live with depression. I've had suicidal thoughts for as long as I can remember. I didn't let on to anyone as I was embarrassed and I didn't act on them until just under two years ago when I made my one and only attempt. I was first diagnosed with depression three months before the suicide attempt. My GP put me on an anti depressants called setraline, It didn't agree with me and instead of changing or stopping my med's the dosage just got upped. Within a year I had taken my medication daily and got far worse than I had ever been in over two decades of living with depression. I was then diagnosed with mixed mania and personality disorder. I stopped taking the medication and after a month of hell I started to notice myself again. My friends and family said they couldn't believe they where speaking to me again and that they had missed me. I had turned a corner after a year and a half of living in isolation, almost exclusively confined to my bed. </p><p> </p><p>

Whenever you feel down just try to remind yourself you will have ups to come. When you feel lonely pick up the phone and call someone you care about. Talking about your depression is a key I found. The more people who you trust that know you suffer the better. You may find its the weight of carrying a secret as big as depression that is making you feel so down and isolated. Then isolation, I found forcing yourself to go out the house normally helps. I had a bout three weeks back where I was in bed for four days. I forced myself to go for a five k run. I cried the whole way round but when I got back it kick started me feeling better and I went back to work shortly after. You don't need to run just a walk around a nice park should help but exercise is brilliant to get your natural endorphins going. Food is something I've found can effect mood. Try and eat healthy. Being properly nourished helps elevate mood and helps with sleep. Sleep patterns are important and hard to stick to so stay clear of drugs and alcohol as they throw your sleep patterns out and are depressants (not all drugs are depressants but any unnatural mental activity can be a set back). I also take niacin (vitamin B3) every morning I read it helps. Not sure if it's a placebo but I always seem to have worse days when I forget to take it.</p><p> </p><p>

Like I say there's no right or wrong answer but these are things that help me deal with the monster that we call depression. I've lost a friend to it. I have friends who suffer with it or they have family members who suffer with it. You are never alone as much as you may feel you are. If anyone needs to talk or wants to get they're problems off they're chest feel free to pm me. Trust me I'm not judgemental and if not me and you are alone call a helpline. I'm in the uk and I've used crisis and calm before and they helped a lot.</p>

  9. Not sure this is the right thread to ask, but I'm gonna do it anyway.

Been playing TEW since the 2008 version, but I have never (as in never-ever) played a C-Verse save. But there is no time like the present, and my first save when the game comes out monday, will probably be the C-Verse... So my question is: Which fed would be the one to choose, if I'm mostly into Sports Entertainment feds like WWE & TNA? In real life, I watch WWE and old ECW shows. So based on that, what would be their C-Verse counterparts?

If you want to book a fed similar to ECW the nearest is probably PSW. they are probably at a similar level to ECW in 95/96. Hardcore product with the focus on wild brawls and dangerous matches. If you want a more sports entertainment based fed the SWF which is like 98/99 WWF for me.

  10. Playing CV '97 SWF.

So one of the big storylines of courses is that Nemesis is one foot out the door and he inconveniently possesses the North American Championship, creative control and enough overness to deny any attempt to drop the belt to a midcard worker, elevating that worker in the process.

So at When Hell Freezes Over, it was Nemesis and Tommy Cornell. Nemesis refused to lose, and I was getting desperate. Unfortunately, Cornell was too much of a Boy Scout to participate in a screwjob finish. Same with Ref Darren Young.

I decided to introduce the Lords of War as mid-match entrants. The official storyline was that a mystery benefactor arranged for them to join the match. Darren Young took a ref bump and Richard Eisen, unknown to the fans, came out in ref garb to take over. Everything is copacetic so far.

The Warlord Pain pinned Nemesis to an Eisen fast count. Only the Pain, Eisen and myself were in on it.

Nemesis stormed out of the company. He already had a hatred for Eisen, but he added a hatred of Keith and Pain as well. Oh, and Phil Vibert, a strong friend of Nemesis, ALSO added a hatred of Eisen, Keith and Pain.

About half my locker room was angry at the incident, but you'd be amazed at what a $5,000 bonus will do for morale.

My new plan is to have the Lords of War join Sam Keith and Black Hat Bailey as a power faction, with Eisen as their own personal dirty ref. Keith will take responsibility for the screwjob, weaving real life into the kayfabe.

His claim will be that he used his influence as champion to arrange for the Lords of War and a crooked ref to join the match, because he couldn't stand Nemesis and didn't like the competition.

He'll cut a promo on Cornell, praising his ability and saying that he almost considered letting Cornell in on the screwjob, but Cornell was too morally upstanding.

"Did I screw Nemesis? You're DAMN RIGHT I screwed Nemesis. But I did not screw Tommy Cornell; TOMMY CORNELL screwed Tommy Cornell!"

That should give me plenty of story fodder in the months to come. :D

    That's brilliant :D

  11. That definitely helps thanks! I knew half of those. Knuckles and Shady K would make a good main event heel tag team. But none if them seem to be good options for Face main eventers. Maybe I can get a hold of Fox Mask and Remmy Skye. I'm worried about Skye and drugs though.

You could try the new soldiers of fortune, you can hire them now CGC aren't in the best shape also the dirty white boys but I see them as more of a heel team. Other notable mentions are the ring generals, the Latino kings and The American Cobras. I would take a chance on Remmy, you could use his overness to build up some other teams, then if he did mess up just let him go.

  12. I'm going to start a Tag Team federation. Will begin at Reigonal level and gobble up all the established tag teams on the Indy scenes in USA. Will make some of my own as well for future stars. So my question is, what team should I make my main event level champions? If this was 2013 it would be Matthew Keith and Steven Parker. But I'm not sure now. Any suggestions? It will be based out of the South East

Unemployed teams that work in the states at the start of 2016 are..

The Nation of Filth (Grunt & Stink)

The Young Guns (Ford Gumble & Harry Allan)

    The Hillbillys (Pete & Al)

Death Row (Knuckles & Shady K)

The Good Ol' Boys (Wooton Fitzpaine & Thinbleby Langton)

The Maryland Alliance (Buck Graham & Brady Prince)

Thug Life (Hardcore Killah & Slim V)

Los Heartbreakers (Junior Youth & Rebelde Loco)

    I hope that helps.

  13. This is a place to talk about all things world level. I think they have one of the most exciting rosters in the game. At first glance the loss of Narita and Eagle two of there top talents back in 13 looks like a big void to fill but look deeper and you'll see Maita is a bonafide main eventer and SPEED D and Kurata are nicely positioned to start challenging the older members of Def-REALM for their spots. Amagawa and Panda Mask II are possible candidates for pushes also, then there's the matter of having Frankie Perez on your roster with a decent amount of pop, E+ across Japan I think at the start of the game. He's only on a PPA (the only worker on the roster who is) but can be built up as well.

Sitting at cult with £10,000,000 in the bank and LuchaResu TV there's very little to worry about at the start of the game. You can sign a PPV deal with J-Remote 1 and don't have to worry about national battles for a while so you can take your time and build up a nice war chest. I haven't been able to put on a show worse than a B- even with midcard acts mixing it up with main eventers in the last match, so losing pop is very unlikely at the start of the game. You need to be careful though, on every show you need to book one match on story telling, one on comedy and one has to be filled with high spots, a car crash or has to steal the show. If you miss one or more of those matches out the fans will feel short changed and it will hurt your final grade some.

Ok now story lines and booking plans. This is the best bit about the promotion for me. So many possibilities. The starting stories big one for me is heaven & hell. It's been running since May 15 so you can look to wrap it up but I like to have Angel win at fame & fortune but I have Reaver as a constant thorn in his side let Angel defend against other workers but Reaver is always lurking. When the full game comes out I would let Reaver develop his performance skills and maybe have him finally get his win later on after coming close so many times before. I don't like the thought of Kobe as the next champ I want to build new stars so I'll keep him busy in his feud with the black house. I'm gonna book the black house strong giving Kobe wins over Rouge and Narato but Maita always is a step too far and the numbers game plays its part. I want to get Infamy Inc involved so I might have them drop the titles to black house in shady circumstances and then join forces with Kobe, so Kobe can finally get his win over Maita. I'll call the group Paradigm shift and have them as the leading stable maybe forcing the black house nation to disband and just leave the the team of Narato and Maita.

Future booking plans could involve a GCG invasion angle pitting Gakusha, SUKI, Takayuki 2000 and Hyobanshi against Kobe, Angel, Reaver and Maita having to put their differences aside to take down the much bigger men who are coming on their patch and causing them problems.

You could team up SPEED D and Emerald Angel for a new sort of above and below. Maybe call them Angels and Demons. I know no what your thinking, Did you think of that name by yourself? Yes I did. I'm smart.

Start a modern Japan title and hold a tournament either knock outs or blocks with two or four main eventers form each promotion. There are so many ways you can take the promotion from stable wars to tag team tournaments it's a fun and accessible promotion and I hope it gets the love it deserves this time out.

I'm hoping there's other players giving World Level a go in the demo and if you'll be sticking with them after Monday, and if so what direction you're gonna be taking them in.

  14. Canadian wrestling machines, Canada's elite or elite party animals.

I've started a stable in my WLW save it consists of :

    The Tic (leader)

    Panda Mask II

    Tiger Prince

    Fox Mask

Basically the tic has been scouting these guys for a while, he interferes in there matches without them realising to cost them wins, distracting refs, hitting them then saying it was unintentional. After the group are on a losing streak they decide to band together to get their careers back on track. What they don't know was it was all a cunning plan of the tic'c who basically wants to live off them ( on them ) to help boost his chances of getting to the top. The plan is to split them a few months to a year down the line and have the group kick out the tic and get revenge. This story will be the main focus of my comedy based matches just need a name for the group?

  15. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Larrikn" data-cite="Larrikn" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I've been playing as BCG and i'am almost out of January after a successful 9 shows<p> <strong>Noteworthy things:</strong></p><p> </p><p> - GCG poaches Razan Okamoto (Who was about to challenge for the World Title), Roku Sotomura, Sojuro Sen and Tanyu Toshusai (Mid card Champ who dropped the belt to Rokuemon Matsushita before he left) in the second week!</p><p> </p><p> - For some reason GCG didn't sign Funakoshi so i signed him to an Exclusive PPA deal and put the title back on him.</p><p> </p><p> - Fueled by his bio stating that he will never be more then a Midcarder i'm starting to push Sharaku Okimasa to stardom!</p><p> </p><p> - In an effort to rebuild my weakened roster i hired four new workers; notably Quick Kick Nakao and Hitomaru Suzuki</p><p> </p><p> - Spent a bucket load of money and opened a Dojo in an effort to eventually become self reliant on making new stars</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I've noticed that GCG always steal those same four workers in every save I've played so far. GCG won't be able to steal Funakoshi from you as he's loyal to BCG. I'm playing as WLW and having a blast I stole Razan Okamoto partly to see who GCG would poach instead and also I had plans to bring him in as an ally for Kobe. Now I have Kobe, Okamoto and Perez feuding with black house. SPEED D is being built up to face Angel after he wins the feud with Reaver. I don't get how Angel and Monkey had a mask vs mask match as Hell Monkey only wore his mask in his ring entrance. Did he put it back on after the match so Angel could pull it straight back of?? Anyways Infamy Inc will probably fued with the 505 for the foreseeable future as the 505 are made up of three teams and Kurata and Amagawa have excellent chemistry. The Tic is going to start a comedy animal based stable with panda mask II and Tiger Prince and later I'll hopefully bring in fox mask. I'm just having The Tic scout the other workers matches and have comedy style angles until I start a war with another unit and make the group official. Any ideas for a stable name made up of those four workers would be welcome ?</p>
  16. Booked my first show with SWF and got a B+, loving the new mechanics. Main event was Rouge vs Gilmore number one contenders match which Gilmore won. Got a B out of them even with bad chemistry. Had them tell a story in a 24 minute match. Semi main was James and Huntington going over Morgan and Valiant again scoring a B. Had the Crippler open the show with an A rated promo on how he broke Bruce's neck. I'm absolutely loving the game so far. Be really interesting to see what happens to TCW after there roster took a fairly big nurf since 13.
  17. It feels like to me that they are keeping all their big name's spots warm for when they come back. This is a backwards way of thinking because this is how they end up in positions like this one. Ambrose winning the big one could have caused a new heel to get elevated with him.

They could have easily had Roman vs. HHH without that belt. That fued doesn't need the belt. It starts out over the belt but Roman not diverting his attention directly on the title until his business was done with HHH would also "make sense."

I know somebody mentioned a tournament for the IC title if Ambrose won would be a brilliant moniker for fastlane.

I agree triple h eliminating Roman would be enough. He cost him the title job done. Roman gets revenge at fast lane and possibly moves on to ambrose at maina. With ambrose offering Reigns a chance to win the title he was screwed out of. Ambrose could retain. Having the champion retain is something different and you still get the feel good factor as I'm sure most fans would want that result. Now why would triple h the champion and basically part owner of the company ever grant Roman the chance to win the title back? He wouldn't, Reigns would have to really upset trips enough to get him to want to face him. Only logical ways I can think of is one:, beat up Stef (too heelish) or Vince but doesn't seem like triple h would be willing to give reigns a title shot over or two:, the number one contender steps aside to let Roman take their spot. It would have to be ambrose and it's risky, it could turn fans off him and make him look soft and weak. Any other way ie wining a spot makes no sease to be as why would they even give him a chance?.

I enjoyed the booking of the Whyatts and lesner up until lesner just walked away. Lesner should have gone back into the ring and eliminated Bray. I didn't think that done his character any good just walking away after being screwed. Zane and Owens should fight at mania. I think that would be awesome given that stage and a good amount of time they could still the show. I think Reigns should have either not gone back stage or at least sold the injury when he came back out. So he had to leave the match because he's too hurt to continue but when he comes back he's running, yes running and superman punching his way to the ring. So the injury wasn't that bad and you're just a bit of a baby. Poor.
