  1. If anyone has the original pick pack for this mod laying around somewhere I would really greatly appreciate it <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />. I just want all the old pics of the bellator fighters before they were updated. I believe it was 2 updates ago
  2. <p>Damn dude thank you for this gonna run TEW for the first time in months. Would love more Marvel/DC heroes from different eras. I believe I have a list here somewhere I can PM of people I found that werent in the mod that I wanted in if that helps <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Also glad you're splitting the two big leagues in Marvel/DC. Makes way more sense</p>

  3. For now at least, the game will be set in the US, with the timeframe being young boxers (19-25 mostly) just turning pro, and entering the pro ranks. The world will consist of (initially) 7 weight classes with 10 boxers in each class, and fighting among themselves for titles in each class.

The default universe will be randomly generated each game (of course there will be options for you to create your own universe with real boxers, trainers, etc. from whatever era you want).

You select up to 3 boxers (1 per class) and control their negotiations for money, their training, and their progress, signing them to contracts that may change over time. Their skills will develop (or not!) as you assign training and manage them, and each boxer will have 8 skills, including Strength, Footwork, Stamina and Reflexes, along with ratings for Jab, Cross, Hook and Uppercut, along with a hidden 'Potential' stat that may dictate how well they develop.

You'll hire a Trainer and a Corner Man to help you manage your fighters of course, with their own set of stats, including Judgement, Wisdom, etc.

This isn't really a 'booking' simulator, as Boxing is somewhat different than Wrestling in this regard. If your boxers do well, the purses will be able to rise up and you'll earn more, and even the right to fight for a title at some stage for big bucks. Injuries, accidents, etc. may happen that can derail a figher's career of course.

Over time, I can add other countries, etc. as demand dictates. The design will be very modular so that expansion of the game will be easy.

I think the comparison everyone is going for here is wmma (or at least the people who mentioned it ). The game sounds super fun and like it'll be a good time. Sad about the booking aspect. I feel like we should have the ability to add our own weight classes like wmma. Wmma did so much right when it came to combat sims. Boxing and mma are different like I stated before, but that engine blew me away personally. Hopefully we can get a lot more countries added too. Like I said the more in depth it is the better for everyone.

  4. The UI is being worked on right now, but otherwise, details and game name should be coming soon. The UI will be quite slick and polished (no big surprise from my stuff really) and easy to get going, but have enough depth to be interesting.

Fighter, trainer and corner man selection screens are finished now.

There will be a forum here and announcement soon!

Thank you for the response! Been addicted to watching boxing matches ever since you announced the idea of making it a game from Greydog. Seriously cant wait for the screenshots and more info. One suggestion tho, please give us the ability to have tournaments in the game. I need to get my Ali Trophy Tournament going. Itll be interesting too see the whole game world too, really hoping this mirrors Wmma in some kind of way. The more in depth we can get about boxers, promotions, fights, rankings, purse bids, title unifications, olympics, match cards etc the better. Also interested in how many countries will be in the game as boxing is a universal sport at this point tbh.

  5. In my current SIGMA game in WMMA5, my big problem is that other companies keep signing away my fighters. I can't get to know them because they are never around long enough. My belt holders don't stick around for more than 1 defense. I have been signing a lot of guys recommended by the advisor, even the not-so-good ones, just so I can have enough fighters to continue to run regular shows.

Any suggestions on how to keep fighters around? Right now they won't sign exclusive contracts. Will they sign exclusive contracts if SIGMA gets more popular?

I have a save in WMMA3 where I play GAMMA.

I usually give them a huge pay bonus, more guaranteed fights over more years, and sometimes bump the regular pay up a thousand or few thousand. That was my problem with SIGMA but I found out they usually dont say no to a 20k bonus once you make profit.

  6. I've not fixed those yet, no. I mean it is playable but I'd probably suggest finding another more complete 2002 data set at this stage (besides, mine is more a fantasy 2002 than a real world 2002).

Glad you are enjoying it. I've decided to stick with it and fix it up as best as I can but have a lot to do still. Unfortunately the newer version is no longer nGo compatible.

Glad youre fixing it up! Sad about the NGO news :(

  7. Been hyping myself up about a good boxing sim from greydog. I'm curious how the sim will emulate boxers with a lot of fights on their record. Theres so many boxers who have a ton of fights in their career.. it can't even be compared to mma. Will be cool to see boxers with over 100 fights.
  8. World Boxing Manager is very good base-wise (if very dated looking), yes. I did try to contact the '2013' Title Bout makers with no success so far.

I think I have a solid base started up with my own product, and it should be nicer and slicker to use and be just as engaging, I think. Some screens and details should be up on Grey Dog soon.

Very cool can't wait to see the screenshots. I'm curious how title unifications will work with multiple promotions. It'll be interesting with all the countries who participate in the sport

  9. You'll definitely be able to control each of your boxer's training regimen and their development, along with managing your boxing organization.

Oh wow this might be a def buy from me. Sounds like a real game changer. Really hoping it emulates WMMA in some sort of way. We need to see other companies results and and fight cards

  10. With the 1992 mod, I'll probably release an updated copy so you all have what I have - let's face it, the mod was playable and a lot of fun when justtxyank released it. Im mainly just tweaking and updating a few rosters, workers and title lineages for the most part and adding more cosmetic updating.

Great News! The Mod was amazing just how it was before you worked on it, however all the updates and adding all the future workers seriously made the mod amazing to me. I think you got most of the most well known names so thats great.
