1. As much as I enjoyed the match (probably my second favorite of the weekend after Nakamura vs. Zayn), that was a definite downer ending. Becky loses to Charlotte AGAIN and now she'll probably fade into irrelevance. Charlotte being the one to win the new belt suggests she's the one they see as the leader of this generation of women, and while I don't actively dislike her or anything, she's nowhere near as good as the other Horsewomen. Plus it means more Naitch, who has go away heat with me at this point.

WWE seems hard to push the people who have family ties to the business. Charlotte isnt interesting to me. I hate Flair and always have. The more he is on TV the worse it is for me.

  2. Yeah, it was weird. Graves damned him for cheating, and then the next match was sticking up for Blake and Murphy cheating on behalf of Alexa. And then Dana cheating from the outside on behalf of Emma. I guess only blatant outside interference is OK?

He seems like a dude Graves would love, too. It's weird what they've done with him.

Maybe its just me but Graves seems to have gone a bit to the WWE style of announcing instead of the great job he has been doing for months. God forbid a heel be a legit heel on commentary.

  3. I think I might be the only person on Earth who liked Mongo in the Horsemen.

Something a little off-topic from Mania: I've been catching up on NXT before Takeover. Do people like Elias Samson? For weeks I've been waiting for them to develop his character, but it seems like he's going to be a one-dimensional lower midcarder before long. I like his work thus far, but I think that his gimmick is one of those that can only go so far. It's not like he's Raven or anything like that in terms of character or charisma, so I see a lot of Sandow career trajectory in him, at best. And not just in his look. I just think it's interesting to hear others' opinions since he's not an 'indie darling' as far as I know.

Agreed. Doesnt help that both announcers dump on him his entire match. I think unless he gets an actual storyline hes done. But him losing his last match and his undefeated run ending he might be done getting pushed.

  4. - WWE is reportedly not happy with the crowd's reaction to Eva Marie at Monday's RAW in Brooklyn, NY. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Eva was meant to be a returning babyface and WWE management was not expecting her to get booed out of the building.

Ummmmmm WHAT! Have they not watched an episode of NXT? She gets "YOU CANT WRESTLE" chants until she is gone from the crowd

  5. The best part of Raw this week was Kevin Owens. The best wrestler in backstage segments not in The New Day is Kevin Owens. Owens usually has at least 1 MOTW contender every week. It really is KO Mania.

A feud with Reigns for the WWE Championship would be pretty good. If anyone could get people to cheer Reigns it's Owens.

Owens is gold in everything he does. That man needs to be pushed as the #1 guy. He can wrestling and talk circles around Reigns and a good portion of the roster. A guy like Owens is what people want now. Not some roided out body builder type. The land of giants is dying and no one wants it to come back

Not fully. But I sure as hell will blame Dunn for the crapfest that has been WWE for the good portion of a few years now. But I dont think Reigns is a full HHH project. More so Vince

After Mania I could imagine him turning heel, hell we could see a double turn.

Reigns is the reverse Ryback. Ryback is supposed to be a demolishing heel but it doesnt work for him hes great as a face. While Reigns is supposed to be the top face but clearly its not working so assuming he will work great as a heel.

Either way Dunn needs to GTFO of the company since he is clearly messing it up and going into Vinces ear.

I dont see her being a big player though in WWE. Shes better off in NXT where she will get consistent TV time.

They need to give the title to someone. Reigns wont sell them tickets and will an arena like a Cena did. They need someone to come back and take this title. Anyone but Cena though.

WWE already has a silent strong type bad ass and is called Brock Lesnar who has a mouthpiece called Paul Heyman and on the other hand has the ultimate babyface in John Cena. The fact is Reigns is between a rock, no pun intended, and a hard place and the only way to overcome his struggles is playing a path similar to Batista's, when he was fed with good heat machines at the time, like Triple H, JBL, Eddie Guerrero and Mark Henry before he got injured and skipped Wrestlemania 22.

That has failed. Thats what they have been trying. HHH is a heat magnet but look what happened the night Reigns got busted open. Yes chants for HHH to keep kicking the hell out of Reigns. Reigns is failing more and more. That arena might literally be empty by the time they match times on since EVERYONE knows the outcome
