  3. How do the pics labled as "free" in the pictures folder work? I'm trying to create a database where I use "populate fighters" to create random fighters to fill the entire database with. I want each fighter created by the populate fighters function to each use a random face+body picture from those available in the pictures folder. Is that possible? what do I need to do to make it work? I have some pictures labled as free but they aren't being used when I populate. I see there's an option for 'picture requirement' inside the settings after starting a save, and it sounds like newly generated fighters will use free pics, but does it not work when populating through the database editor before starting a save? Thanks
  4. Is there a way to make it so fights are 100% devoid of any ground action? I just want striking only fights. I'm ok with clinching but I don't want fights to end on the ground. I've done everything I can to prevent the fights going to the ground by editing both fighters I'm testing with, including setting all ground/wrestling/clinch stats to 0 (except the defensive stats that relate to defending takedowns which i've set to 100), giving them attributes of loves to strike together with hates to clinch/wrestle/roll, changing the engine calculations to -99% for everything except striking. And yet, I still get some fights going to the ground and ending there... The fighters always end up clinching and then trying to take each other down and somehow one manages it (usually by reversing the other's attempt) and from there it's usually a strikes TKO. I want a striking only fight (occasional clinching is ok) with 10 counts on knockdowns. Is there a way to achieve that with certainty of not getting occasional ground wins? Thanks
  5. 'Generated Fighters' is disabled in my game but I still got a bunch of new generated fighters randomly appearing suddenly. Any ideas why? Also, is there a way to outright delete/remove a character from a game after already starting it? I cannot figure out how. Thanks!
  6. Hello, I'm trying to build my own database with my own fighters, and have created them following some basic guidelines from the default database in terms of stats distributions. However I'm finding that fights I simulate rarely end with a decisive finish, and most go to decisions, EVEN when I put the fight to 30 or even 60 minutes with only 1 round (so, no breaks). Seems like they can fight for much longer than real life MMA and I still won't get anything too exciting going on and usually get a decision ending. What would be some good ways to spice things up and make fights end more decisively and maybe even more quickly without completely ruining the balance of the game? (as I said fights can last 30-60 mins no problem without too much happening which seems unrealistic to me, but maybe I'm wrong? I'm not big into watching real life MMA) Thanks!
  7. Hello, Two questions if I may. Is there any way for a company to have a weight division that uses the same weight as another already existing weight division in the same company? For example creating two separate Flyweight divisions with the same weight range, or have one division 'dip' into the range of another existing division? I'm looking for a way to separate my roster into more than one "group" even if they share weight range. My second question - is there a way to set specific fight rules for a specific PPV or even just one specific fight? or are the company rules global for all fights/events within a company? If so, how? I couldn't find how to do it. I want to have some specific fights or events with different rules than the ones the company normally uses. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
  8. <p>Hey there,</p><p> </p><p> I am currently building a new database with pro wrestlers for my own playthroughs and can't figure out how many weight divisions the company I plan to play should have. I am wondering how much does weight difference affect fight results in this sim?</p><p> </p><p> If I put two similarly skilled fighters but one has a 20 lbs advantage, can I realistically expect the lighter guy to win? is he going to win 1 out of 10 times, or 3-4?</p><p> </p><p> How much weight difference would you recommend per division as the max limit? I know the standard is 10 lbs, but how high can you push it while still giving the lighter fighters a realistic chance to compete against the heavier fighters at that division?</p><p> </p><p> I don't want to create divisions that will have half the fighters unable to win against the heaviest ones, but on the other hand I don't want to split into too many small divisions because I want as many fighters to be able to fight as many fighters, splitting everyone up to tiny divisions would be a lot less fun for me, and some weight ranges do not have enough pro wrestlers to fill an entire division. So I'd rather keep it to the smallest amount of divisions possible while still keeping them competitive throughout the entire weight range.</p><p> </p><p> Thanks a lot for any help!</p>
