Finally, WWF Owner Vince McMahon appears and demands Bulldog to leave the ring! Bulldog finally backs off, and medics are allowed to check on Bret. <p>I dove in headfirst into the 1994 Real World Mod, and boy has it been an interesting ride as Vince McMahon, trying to avoid the nonsense that was the 2-3 years before the Attitude Era began. Lots of signings, lots of pushing aside lackluster talent. Got the roster looking pretty good now, though I’m currently losing the national war to WCW every month cause of their current star power.</p><p> </p><p> Anywho, here is the first major PPV from my ‘94 game. As you can see quickly, this isn’t the WWF ’94 that you remember! With the referee down, HBK would blind Savage with powder, allowing him to hit the Super Kick for the win.</p><p> </p><p> <em>(Savage refused to re-sign with WWF, seemingly because of his hatred for McMahon. It’s forcing me to cut short this feud, and October’s In Your House will be headlined by a HBK-Macho Man “Loser Leaves WWF” Match.)</em></p><p> </p><p> The Undertaker defeats Yokozuna via Intentional Count-Out after making his triumphant return at Summerslam. Taker extracts some revenge from the Royal Rumble, but Yokozuna bails on the match, clearly overwhelmed by the return of the Phenom.</p><p> </p><p> In the Main Event for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship, champion Bret “Hitman” Hart defeats challenger “The Rocket” Owen Hart in a Submission Match. In a battle of Sharpshooter versus Sharpshooter, The Hitman would come out victorious and stand tall as the #1 Guy in the World Wrestling Federation.</p>

Unfortunately, JYD showed up and wrestled on a show completed drugged out. As a result, I sent JYD to rehab. Slaughter substituted into the storyline, and turns out he and Hayes make a good tandem.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Roddy Piper</strong> defeats <strong>Ted Dibiase</strong> by Disqualification when Dibiase’s Million Dollar Corporation interfered. <strong>Match of the Night!</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>Post-Match, Piper cleans house of Dibiase’s MDC goons (Bob Orton Jr. & Magnificent Muraco). Dibiase uses this opportunity to flee from the arena.</em></p><p> </p><p> WWF Tag Team Champions <strong>The Hart Foundation</strong> & <strong>The British Bulldogs</strong> battled to a Double Count-Out after an all out brawl fell to ringside.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Davey Boy Smith takes to the mic and tells the world that he refuses to let this match as a Count Out. He challenges The Hart Foundation to come back to the ring and restart the match! The crowd loves the idea, while Bret & Anvil start heading back to the ring. Sadly, it’s just a trick, and the Hart Foundation laugh at the Bulldogs and take their exit with the Tag Titles.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>King Kong Bundy</strong> wins a 20 Man Battle Royal. Greg Valentine is the final participant eliminated, while also having the most eliminations.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Harley Race</strong> defeats <strong>Jake Roberts</strong> with underhanded tactics. Roberts nearly hits the DDT, but Race shoves himself free and nearly pushes Roberts right into the referee! Roberts is able to put on the brakes before he runs over the ref, but Race sneaks up behind Jake and rolls him up! Race gets the 3 count with a handful of tights! The referee never sees it! </p><p> </p><p> The hated team of <strong>Bob Orton Jr. & Magnificent Muraco</strong> defeat the energetic duo of <strong>Jim Duggan & Billy Jack Haynes</strong>. Orton clobbers Haynes with his cast, allowing Muraco to make the 3 count.</p><p> </p><p> WWF Intercontinental Champion <strong>Macho Man Randy Savage</strong> defeats <strong>Ricky Steamboat</strong> to successfully retain his championship. Yes, history is rewritten, as Savage manages to kick out of the small package this time. Steamboat survives not one, but two Flying Elbows. But after Savage hits the third, Savage finally gets the victory.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Apparently TEW2016 didn’t like me rewriting history, because Savage-Steamboat received a sad, sad 76. This comes after they were apart of a 99 rated tag team match earlier in the week.</em></p><p> </p><p> The powerhouse team of <strong>Paul Orndoff & Dino Bravo</strong> defeat <strong>Strike Force</strong>. Mr. Wonderful hits the classic Piledriver for the win.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Main Event!</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> WWF World Heavyweight Champion <strong>Hulk Hogan</strong> defeats <strong>Andre The Giant</strong> to retain his championship. Yes, sometimes history remains the same. Some things will never change. Hogan hits his trademark Shooting Star Press onto Andre for the win. Not on purpose, that is. Time for a new change to history. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Next major PPV will be King of the Ring, which will be introduced a whole lot sooner. Summerslam will also debut one year earlier in 1987. Otherwise, that’s it with the PPV events for now. I’m not introducing In Your House a decade early, that’s going too far. I still want to treat 1987 like it’s…well…1987. I think 5 PPVs per year is a fair compromise to play the game. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Until next time!</em></p>

<p>I just set up the 1987 Golden Age mod today and man...have I fallen down the rabbit hole. Been looking at, studying, and setting up WWF for hours. I haven't even created a card yet. Just so much good work done with the mod. </p><p> </p><p> I was tempted to play the game as Mark Callous (Undertaker) and play his career out from the start, but finally went with Vinnie Mac as owner of the WWF. </p><p> </p><p> Much credit to the creator of The Golden Age mod. The ratings for every performer is done excellently and are very accurate, despite my bias for Bret Hart and wanting him better haha. Really, the only one stat I disagree with is Ricky Steamboat. At age 34 in '87, I think he should definitely be in the 90s for Star Quality. But hey, can't complain about one stat out of thousands in the game. </p><p> </p><p> Definitely more updates to come in the future.</p>

May I ask, how did you manage to steal so many wrestlers and get business to thrive in the first year? I have heard that TCW is extremely difficult to make competitive in 2016, due to the financial concerns and guys such as Rocky Golden jumping ship. I'm very interested to find out, as I want to start my own game with them, but I'm hesitant due to the aforementioned concerns. <p> </p><p> Also, fair warning. The addition of Steve DeColt may not be harmonious with the locker room. Nate Johnson's problems with the DeColts may result in clique building. Hopefully Steve's isolation from his brothers prevents this from happening.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It actually wasn't hard money wise, so I'm surprised to hear ya say that. It was much harder in TEW2013 getting TCW in gear. I just made sure I had good PPV Contracts, which is where the big money is made. Got my PPVs on North America Prime Select now (Huge level). In the end, I've been making $3 Million per month now. </p><p> </p><p> As far as stealing wrestlers, I just beat out the competition. I've got the money to waste now. I've become pretty stingy with signings though. With my roster, if the guy doesn't hit my criteria (an impressive mix of in-ring, entertainment, star quality), I don't have the need for them. I have a developmental farm that allows me to be stingy like that.</p><p> </p><p> Yeah, Rocky Golden was a nuisance with his *cough* golden *cough* contract. Had creative control and wage matching. Thankfully, he was up for renewal and took six figures and nothing else. I'm not the biggest Golden fan. He's not bad by any means, but his psychology is never at a level I prefer to be THE guy. </p><p> </p><p> Nate Johnson won't be a problem...he's in my developmental farm, winding out the final months of his contract. He was in decline from the start and now has sub par stats. As soon as his in-ring skills and stamina fell into the fifties, he wasn't even useful as a jobber. </p><p> </p><p> Maybe I got lucky with TCW. I mean the game currently has a solid wrestling industry and a excellent economy in the US. But yeah, pretty smooth sailing, nowhere as bad as TEW2013.</p>

<p>Posted my champions on the other thread yesterday, but hey, I'm bored so here we go. Finished Year 1 in my TCW game. Business is thriving with 3 shows: Total Wrestling, a Cruiserweight show, and a Women's Wrestling show. </p><p> </p><p> 2016 went out with a bang, a huge December for sure, especially at the PPV Psycho Circus. It was all highlighted by <strong>Sammy Bach</strong> challenging <strong>Angry Gilmore</strong> for the World Heavyweight Title. Bach's twenty year career was the story, twenty years to get to the biggest match of his life. Meanwhile, the arrogant champion mocked Bach as a guy who can never win the "big one." Sadly, Bach came up short in an epic encounter (92 Score). Something tells me there is a rematch coming soon...</p><p> </p><p> There was also a battle of behemoths, as for the first time ever <strong>Rocky Golden & Remo Richardson</strong> face off one on one. This war has been stewing for awhile, and finally the historic matchup took place. The match of the night at Psycho Circus with a 94, Referee Francis Long was forced to throw the match out when he lost control, and the locker room emptied as Golden & Richardson brawled for another ten minutes around the arena post-match! This war is far from over!</p><p> </p><p> The feud of <strong>Rich Money & Wolf Hawkins</strong> came to a close in the only way possible. Inside a Steel Cell! With the crowd behind Money like never before in his career, Money survived Hawkins's endless assault on his knee, the same knee that Hawkins deliberately injured and put Rich on the shelf. Despite being hobbled, Money left the steel cell victorious. A former SWF & USPW World Heavyweight Champion, the 41-year-old Rich Money now has his eyes set on the one major US World Title he's never worn....</p><p> </p><p> After being defeated decisively by International Champion <strong>Eddie Peak</strong> at A Little South of Sanity, <strong>Joshua Taylor</strong> was insistent that he received another chance. Neither Peak nor GM Ricky Dale Johnson would give it to him at first, RDJ himself saying that there were other challengers that deserve a shot first. Taylor would not stop in his attempts. Finally, Eddie Peak agreed to the rematch...IF...Taylor agreed to his terms. Peak's sick, personal choice, A Dog Collar Match! Taylor agreed...and pulled off the upset! Originally a Triple Threat, The Rising Suns were removed due to Shiori Jippensha's injury. </p><p> </p><p> Frankie Perez defeated Mikey James to earn a Cruiserweight Title Shot</p><p> </p><p> Raven Nightfall defeated Alicia Strong</p><p> </p><p> Jacob Jett defeated Demon Seed (aka Duberry Excess)</p><p> </p><p> Purple Viper & Paige Croft defeated Blue Chip Grunge (Jaime Quine & Eve Grunge) in a Tornado Tag Match</p><p> </p><p> Mimic & El Diablo defeat Fox Squad (Fox Mask & Jimmy Fox)</p><p> </p><p> Out of the ring and in the office, it was also a big final month in 2016. I was forced to sign a bunch of veterans due to backstage issues. Most specifically the Women's Brand, as Fuyuko Higa & Shiro Jippensha had become quite the locker room cancer. As mentioned, Phil Vibert is now on-screen as Joanne Rodriguez's sport agent. Michelle Brendon also joined TCW to become her sister Tracy's manager/enforcer, just to name a couple. Pretty much, I just bolstered all three locker rooms with positive influences to avoid any more big dips in overall backstage rating. </p><p> </p><p> Had two big suspensions, too. The previously mentioned Fuyuko Higa provoked a fight with Carmen Ruiz (aka Mystery Pink unmasked), leaving me no choice but to suspend her for 30 days. It also forced me to abruptly end her feud with Tracy Brendon, which she lost the rubber match. </p><p> </p><p> Same case with Jay Chord, except he actually got knocked out by Mighty Mo in the fight he started! Unlike Higa, though, Chord's stats have stalled, so I have a tough decision about what to do with him and his extremely negative influence.</p><p> </p><p> On the positive side, there were two huge in-ring signings. From NOTBW comes Steve DeColt. He's up there in age, though yet to show decline. I've never used him yet in TEW2016, so I'm giving him a shot. Helped also NOTBW just let him go without a fight. </p><p> </p><p> From USPW, Rick Law is heading back to TCW. My plan is to team him up with Aaron Andrews as a nice heel tandem. Always a fan of Law, I have long term plans for the Boss Man errr Rick if I can get his psychology up (just like Andrews).</p><p> </p><p> 2017 is gonna be fun with a huge roster. It's to the point that I'm becoming stricter on who to push. It's not good enough to be good at one or two things anymore. A wrestler needs the triple threat: in-ring skills, entertainment skills, & star quality to even be considered past a tag team position. Wrestlers missing just one are starting to fall down the card, or not getting signed at all.</p>

Just had an incident in TCW where Jay Chord was reportedly "being a jerk" and threw a punch at Mighty Mo. He would get beaten up by Mo as a result. Went ahead and suspended Chord. Both were pleased by the decision, although it didn't affect Chord's extremely negative influence at all. I'm stuck in a tight spot with Chord in this game. Currently, his stats aren't improving. His psychology and entertainment skills are just good, not great. Not really worth pushing past midcard with his negative influence. He was the leader of a stable with Kirk Jameson & Davis Wayne Newton, but they've begun to match and surpass him in certain stats, so it's become more a freebird team now. DWN has been improving immensely, in all stats, so much so that he's on his way to a singles push. Just funny sometimes to see who is the one to break out from the group.

<p>About to finish off my first year with my TCW game, as Psycho Circus is around the corner. In a course of a year, TCW has regained control of the wrestling world and now has two additional shows. One is based on the Women's Division, the other on the Cruiserweight Division. The developmental territory is heavy with a ton of talent. 2017 is looking to be a pretty good year for TCW.</p><p> </p><p> The major feuds going into Psycho Circus are as follows:</p><p> </p><p> 1) Sammy Bach wins a 20 Man Battle Royal to challenge Angry Gilmore for the TCW World Heavyweight Championship. The entire storyline is based around Bach's decade long struggle to scratch and claw to the top of TCW. Once a small guy who was always overlooked, Bach is on the brink of being the #1 guy in professional wrestling. Gilmore continues to mock Bach as a guy who has never won the "big one," but Bach looks determined to prove him wrong.</p><p> </p><p> 2) One of the reasons Bach won that Battle Royal was because Rocky Golden & Remo Richardson were so focused on destroying each other that it allowed the rest of the combatants to dump both behemoths out of the ring. This has been mulling for a couple months now. Now, it's finally going to happen. Two of the biggest stars (figuratively and literally) in professional wrestling are about to go to war. </p><p> </p><p> 3) Wolf Hawkins turned his back on his fans after losing the World Title. More so, he set his sights on Rich Money, a once hated heel who the TCW fans have come to love for everything he has contributed to the industry. Hawkins deliberately injured Money's knee, and it has been a target ever since. Nevertheless, the battle stands at 1-1 between these two. The challenge has been set by Money. Hawkins has accepted. These two will battle at Psycho Circus in a Steel Cell to bring their blood feud to an end!</p><p> </p><p> 4) Joshua Taylor came so close to dethroning Eddie Peak as International Champion at "A Little South of Sanity." In the end, Peak used his size and strength to overcome his toughest challenge to date. Taylor has shown to be obsessed over another chance, so much so that he even agreed to Peak's own terms. A Dog Collar Match for the International Title at Psycho Circus! In a battle of Superstar & Bodyguard versus Mentor & Protégé, Andrews gets the win for his team. It’s not without controversy, though, as Speed trips Drake from the outside as he tries to lift Andrews into the air. Speed then proceeds to hold Drake’s legs down as Andrews pins Daniel for the 3!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>TCW International Championship Match!</strong></p><p> <strong>Eddie Peak</strong> holds off the rising stars of TCW, <strong>Joshua Taylor & Mighty Mo</strong>, in a Triple Threat Match to retain his International Championship. Peak puts Mo away with the Peak of Perfection to gain the pinfall.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>TCW World Tag Team Championship Match!</strong></p><p> The crowd is disappointed by this one, as the newly babyface team, <strong>The Backseat Boyz (Roger Cage & Troy Tornado</strong>, defeat the Tag Team Champions<strong>Eddie Chandler & Mr. Lucha</strong> by Count-Out.The Boyz hit Chandler with the Kiss-Kiss Drive By and look to be on their way to winning the gold, but Lucha pulls Chandler out of the ring before the referee can slap the mat for the 3rd time! Lucha & Chandler then walk right out of the match and the arena, ignoring the referee’s ten count! Lucha & Chandler leave with the gold, but definitely don’t look like champions!</p><p> </p><p> <em>Wolf Hawkins makes his way to the ring. He’s booed all the way to the ring after his recently change of attitude, blaming his title loss to the Angry Gilmore on the crowd and “washed up” superstars like Rich Money. More so, the crowd boos after Hawkins assaulted Money on the last episode of Total Wrestling, where he targeted Money’s knee with a steel chair. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Reports are TCW’s lead medical doctor refuses to allow Rich Money to wrestle tonight. His knee is too damaged. Rich Money’s music is played twice, but Money doesn’t appear. Hawkins demands to be declared the winner. Instead, the ring announcer announces that the referee is giving Money a count of ten to come to the ring. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> 1…2…3…4…5…6….7…</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Rich Money’s music hits again, and Rich Money limps out into the arena! The crowd goes nuts, and Wolf is stunned! TCW’s medical staff appears and pleads with Money not to go to the ring, but Money shoves them aside! His knee heavily bandaged, Money enters the ring and orders the referee to “ring the damn bell!” After much discussion between the referee, the medical staff, and Rich Money, this bell is called for! This match is happening!</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Wolf Hawkins</strong> defeats <strong>Rich Money</strong>. Rich Money shows more courage than any man could possibly show, but he cannot overcome the injured knee. Hawkins targets the knee constantly throughout the match. Even when Money rallies and has Hawkins on the ropes, a timely kick to the knee sends Money face to the mat. With Money struggling to get up, Hawkins puts him away with the Full Moon Rising. Hawkins gets the W, but the talk is all about the courage and health of Rich Money. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>TCW Women’s Tag Team Championship Match</strong></p><p> <strong>The A-List</strong> defeat <strong>The Rising Suns (Gemmei Oonishi & Shiori Jippensha)</strong> to retain their Tag Team Championship. As always, Nadia Snow & Demelza Wade cheat to keep the gold. With the referee distracted with Wade & Oonishi fighting at ringside, A-List’s manager Venus Angeletti sprays Jippensha in the eyes with some type of hair spray or perfume, blinding her! This allows Snow to hit the Snow Ball and retain the gold for her team.</p><p> </p><p> <em>With the finals of the TCW Cruiserweight Championship Tournament coming up next, it is revealed that a second Cruiserweight tournament will start tomorrow night on TCW television. You guessed it. TCW is bringing the Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles out of retirement after 12 years! Starting tomorrow, eight tag teams will go to war to decide to who will wear the gold for the first time in over a decade!</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Finals of the TCW Cruiserweight Championship Match!</strong></p><p> In a stunning upset, <strong>Edd Stone</strong> defeats the heavy favorite <strong>Masked Cougar</strong> to become the NEW TCW Cruiserweight Champion! The 16 Cruiserweight Tournament was a bit of a revival to Stone’s career, but Masked Cougar looked to be the favorite to win it all after a successful tag team title reign with Mighty Mo. Stone proves everyone wrong, though, and gains some revenge on one of the guys who took the tag team gold from the now defunct Canadian Animals! As they brawl on the top rope, Stone sneaks in a thumb to the eye, which the referee doesn’t catch. This leads to hitting the Party’s Over off the top rope and get the 3! Stone celebrates with the gold, and doesn’t mind rubbing it into the faces of the each and every fan, especially those wearing Cougar masks. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tonight’s Main Event!</strong></p><p><strong> TCW World Heavyweight Championship Match!</strong></p><p> In a controversial main event, <strong>Angry Gilmore</strong> defeats <strong>Rocky Golden</strong> to retain the TCW World Heavyweight Championship. This looked to be the night that is finally happens, that Rocky Golden finally regains the World Title. He dominates the match. Gilmore appears to have no answer for the monster heavyweight. Gilmore tries to work a leg, tries to work an arm, he even tries to put Golden away with a sleeper. Golden just kept getting the best of Gilmore. It looked to be over as Golden lifted Gilmore up for The Rack, but one of Gilmore’s flaying legs accidentally hits Referee Francis Long right in the face, knocking him down! Golden tries to help the referee up, when Remo Richardson races down to the ring. Richardson spins Golden around and shows amazing strong by lifting Golden up into the air. Richardson hits Golden with the Destroyer! To a burst of boos, Richardson marches out of the arena without looking back! With Golden out on his back and Referee Francis Long stirring, Gilmore crawls into the cover. 1..2..3! </p><p> </p><p> <em>A beaten down Gilmore snatches his title belt at ringside. He staggers out of ringside, not having any clue about what just happened. Rocky Golden starts coming to in the ring, and he doesn’t have much of a clue, either. Rocky & Remo faced off in a tag team match recently, otherwise there was nothing that would have hinted at Remo’s actions tonight. As the show comes to a close, Gilmore finally gains enough senses to look back at Golden in the ring and begins to laugh triumphantly.</em></p>

TCW Hotter Than Hell Sunday, Week 4, August 2016 Greenwalt Dome (Tri State) Attendance: 45, 710 PPV: .88 (440, 698 Buys) In the opening contest, Joshua Taylor & The Amazing Z (Zimmy Bumfhole) defeat Aaron Andrews & Remo Richardson in a rematch from last PPV. (82) Post-Match, Andrews is down and hurt. He looks for an assist from his partner Remo after taking the pinfall for his team. With his partner’s hand held out, a disgruntled Remo turns his back and leaves! It looks like Andrews has lost his second tag team partner in just a span of three months! Jacob Jett defeats Freddy Huggins, as the newcomer continues to rise up the ranks. (78) Sara Marie York successfully defends her TCW Women’s Championship by defeating Tracy Brendon, Joanne Rodriguez, & Suzanne Brazzle in a Fatal Four Way Match. The first ever TCW Women’s Champ continues to roll. (72) Roger Cage defeats Mikey James after an assist from tag partner Troy Tornado. Tornado shoves James off the top rope as Cage has Referee Ray Johnson distracted, setting up the Rage Cage for the finish. (81) In a shocking upset, the brand new tag team of Eddie Chandler & Mr. Lucha defeat The Fearless & Mighty (Masked Cougar & Mighty Mo[/b] to become the NEW TCW Tag Team Champions! It doesn’t come without controversy, though, as their manager Floyd Goldworthy removes one of the top turnbuckle covers, just in time for Chandler to smash Mighty Mo’s face into the exposed steel! (82) Daniel Drake (KP Avatar) defeats Marc Speed, as another young star continues to climb up the ladder. (70) A bunch of TCW superstars head to the ring for the upcoming Lumberjack Match. Included in them is the newly signed wrestler, Valiant, who receives a big pop from the live crowd, and a loud USA chant! In a major upset, New Era Leader Jay Chord defeats Rocky Golden in a Lumberjack Match. The participants come into play for sure, as Chord’s New Era followers Kirk Jameson & Davis Wayne Newton interfere at every chance. In the end, when Golden has Chord up in the air, Jameson trips Golden by grabbing and pulling on his “broken” ankle! Chord comes crashing down on top of Golden for the cover, as Jameson pulls down on that injured ankle! 1,2,3, Chord pulls off the shocker! (87) A sad turn of events, Jaime Quine & Eve Grunge defeat the TCW Women’s Tag Team Champion The A-List via Count-Out. After having an injured ankle for a month, Demelza Wade tries to use the crutch she used to walk around with as a weapon. As Nadia Snow holds Quine up at ringside to be struck with the weapon, Quine ducks, and Wade hits her own tag team partner! Nadia Snow is knocked out cold on the floor, and is counted out by Referee Ray Johnson! Unfortunately for Quine & Grunge, the titles cannot change via Count Out! They beg for the referee to restart the match, but the decision stands! The A-List are still the champs despite the L! (75) TCW International Champion Eddie Peak heads to the ring for his International Championship Open Challenge. After promoting it for weeks, Peak calls out anyone on the TCW roster. After a long pause, out comes…Jake Idol??!! It’s underwhelming, though Idol is a promising young wrestler. Wait a minute…before Idol hits the ring, the music of Rich Money hits the PA System! The crowd goes nuts! After being Power Bombed off the Stage four weeks ago by Eddie Peak, Rich Money is back! Money lays out Jake Idol at ringside, and enters the ring to accept the Open Challenge! Wow! Rich Money defeats TCW International Champion Eddie Peak via Disqualification when Peak uses a Steel Chair right in front of Referee Francis Long. The war doesn’t end with the match, as these two heated rivals continue to battle all the way up the entrance way. Peak gets the edge and sets Money up to Powerbomb off the stage again! Money fights back, and reverses! Money back tosses Peak off the Stage, right through a table down below! The crowd roars as Rich Money stands victorious with a taste of revenge! (94, MATCH OF THE NIGHT!) Joss Thompson & Atom Smasher defeat The New Era (Kirk Jameson & Davis Wayne Newton). The assist comes from Rocky Golden, who comes limping down to the ring, wanting revenge on the New Era! Security is able to talk Golden out of it, but its enough of a distraction to allow Thompson to hit the Clean Cutter on DWN! (79) In Tonight’s Main Event, TCW World Heavyweight Champion Angry Gilmore successfully retains his championship in a thrilling Triple Threat contest with Wolf Hawkins & Sammy Bach. Gilmore comes off the top rope with the Sky High Elbow and crushes Hawkins as he tries to pin Bach after hitting the Full Moon Rising. Gilmore covers Bach himself and gets the 3! (91) Gilmore quickly exits the ring and crawls out of the ringside, demanding his title belt and quickly receives it. Former Champion Wolf Hawkins is left to watch in disgust Angry Gilmore leaves once again on top. Show Rating: 94

TCW Summer Showdown Sunday – Week 4 – July 2016 Greenwalt Dome – Tri State Attendance: 44,977 PPV Buy: 0.87 The New Era (Kirk Jameson & Davis Wayne Newton) defeat Joss Thompson & Atom Smasher using underhanded tactics. (81) Jacob Jett defeats Brent Hill. (73) Rich Money & Eddie Peak are both disqualified around the twenty minute mark when Referee Francis Long loses complete control of the match. The locker room is emptied as TCW officials and lower card wrestlers struggle to keep Money & Peak from brawling all over ringside and the entranceway. (94, MATCH OF THE NIGHT!) Daniel Drake (KP Avatar) defeats Nate Johnson. (67) Fearless & Mighty (Masked Cougar & Mighty Mo) defeat The Backseat Boyz (Roger Cage & Troy Tornado) to successfully retain the TCW Tag Team Championship. (85) Sara Marie York defeats Tracy Brendon via Victory Roll to successfully retain the TCW Women’s Championship. Medics attempt to help Golden back to the locker room, but the enraged giant shoves them away. Golden struggles to limp back backstage, clearly injured. (86) Aaron Andrews & Remo Richardson defeat Joshua Taylor & The Amazing Z (Zimmy Bumfhole). (81) In the Main Event, Angry Gilmore connects with a timely low blow to Wolf Hawkins, setting him up to hit the Anger Management and become the NEW TCW World Heavyweight Champion! Gilmore brings Hawkins’s Six Month Title Reign to an end! (83) Cue Wade Barrett’s “End of Days,” Angry Gilmore reveals a rare (devilish) smile as he celebrates his title victory. Thanks to Rocky for being unhappy to take a loss here…no matter how I swung it…you only won every singles match in the feud…douche…</p><p> </p><p> In the finals of the 16-Women Tournament, Sara Marie York defeats Joanne Rodriguez to be crowned as the TCW Women’s Champion! Booking notes say the young TCW female fans rejoice!</p><p> </p><p> In their tag team debut, Aaron Andrews & Remo Richardson defeat High & Devine.</p><p> </p><p> In the Main Event of the evening, Wolf Hawkins defeats Angry Gilmore to successfully retain the TCW World Heavyweight Championship! After controlling most of the match late, Gilmore was caught with his shoulders on the mat by a Hawkins roll up. An infuriated Gilmore assaulted Hawkins post-match, the attack so bad that is brought out a ton of TCW Officials, including new GM Ricky Dale Johnson. The show came to a close with a Gilmore roaring about being the real champion, and Hawkins being checked on by TCW medics. </p><p> </p><p> Got some major decisions coming up, at the top being that Sammy Bach is probably the best talent I have right now, so I’ll have to maneuver him to the top of the card. Much to my surprise, he continues to improve both in the entertainment category and psychology. Never have I seen Bach get past about 80 in psychology in previous games. Right now he’s at 87, and he continues to go up. Originally, he was just supposed to be a stopgap in the midcard as younger talent progressed, but he has become much more than that. Now I just have to decide to keep him a face, or turn him heel to challenge the likes of Hawkins & Golden. Interesting times are coming!</p>

<p>A small update on my TCW game. We're about to head into this year's Total Mayhem PPV, with just one PPV left before the big show (Where Angels Fear To Tread). </p><p> </p><p> I've always had this special match to set up the #1 Contender at Total Mayhem, pretty much like WWE's way to set up a contender with the Elimination Chamber, except the match is Money in the Bank with a World Title Contract hanging above the ring. So right now, I have the top 6 TCW stars dueling for that opportunity. My goal is for Jay Chord to win, who is leading a heel stable called The New Era. That could be altered, unfortunately, if Rocky Golden is yet again unwilling to accept a loss. That has been an issue! haha</p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile, I need a filler PPV main event, and I found it. Ricky Dale Johnson's talents continue to dwindle, and I have the perfect "going out" match. After Wolf Hawkins's last PPV World Title Defense, RDJ confronted the champ and asked for an opportunity. One more title match, and if he loses? RDJ vows to retire! Reluctantly, Wolf Hawkins accepted the match out of respect. The outcome might seem clear, but TCW fans are guaranteed to fill the arena and buy the PPV in the hopes that the legendary RDJ can pull off one more big win!</p><p> </p><p> On midcard news, the tag team division is starting to grow to the point that I enjoy. I love a solid tag team division, so much that I prefer at least 3 tag team feuds at once. The Canadian Animals lead the way as the champs right now, with the Fearless & Mighty (Masked Cougar & Mighty Mo) currently standing as #1 Contenders. </p><p> </p><p> More tag teams continue to join the fray, including the newest one of Aaron Andrews & Mr. Lucha. After suffering several heart breaking losses and depressed by his own losing streak, Andrews is confronted by Lucha with an opportunity. Andrews is looking to regain his stardom, Lucha is looking to take over the United States like he took over Mexico. Lucha proposes they take over and become the hottest team in TCW. Andrews accepts, and they seem primed to take over the tag division...if they survive the implosion of their own egos! </p><p> </p><p> I wish I had the time to write a dynasty like I used to, but unfortunately life makes that problematic. Anyways, good luck to everyone with their careers!</p>

<p>Despite spending over 50% of my time on TCW with TEW2013, I’m only diving into the company now on TEW2016. Truth be told, I didn’t like the roster at all, and with Tommy Cornell gone? I really wasn’t interested. But finally, favorite wrestlers of mine like Wolf Hawkins & Eddie Peak were calling out to me, and I couldn’t help myself. </p><p> </p><p> I spent a lot of time overhauling before producing a single card. I even restarted at a point because (can’t remember exactly what) I realized I could do something a lot better. Thankfully too, because a ton of wrestlers were in decline (Sammy Bach, Troy Tornado, etc) on my first save that weren’t on my second!</p><p> </p><p> Anywho, my biggest change was to maneuver TCW back towards it Sports Entertainment ways without angering the fans. I have no problem with Tradition Updated, but really? TCW doesn’t even have the roster to really do that. But they do have a ton of charismatic guys who can still pull off Sports Entertainment. </p><p> </p><p> And despite ever doing it so early in any other save? I quickly changed the Figurehead from Rocky Golden to Wolf Hawkins, right after turning Wolf face. Sorry Rocky, but my best success in TCW has always been behind Wolf (& Tommy). I’m going to rely on history for now. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. I had to pay a hefty penny to make an angry Rocky Golden feel better, but I think it’ll be worth it long time. </p><p> </p><p> I also bit the bullet and bought out the contract with Pop! Network to move over to USA Sports, a much better network that airs all over the world. No way was I going to stay on Pop! for the entire two year contract. </p><p> </p><p> Also plan on opening Developmental asap, but don’t want to do too much soon. Already dished out a ton of cash right away for my vision.</p><p> </p><p> Soooo….I really hated the champions to start with TCW. Like, hate is putting it nice. So the first TV card in 2016 was TCW Championship Week! Sammy Bach defeated Marc Speed for the International Championship. The Canadian Animals won a Triple Threat Tag Team Contest to win the Tag Team Championship. And Rocky Golden finally got his return match to defeat Aaron Andrews!...by DQ due to interference by Eddie Peak, thus Andrews retains the World Championship…wuh wuh…</p><p> </p><p> So after a bumpy start, everything is going smooth by the end of the first move. The right guys are getting pushed, and a bunch of new talent have been signed (Roger Cage, Mr. Lucha, Kirk Jameson, Davis Wayne Newton, etc.) </p><p> </p><p> Last but not least, these are the main storyline matches for the first pay-perview of my save and of 2016, TCW Malice in Wonderland:</p><p> </p><p> The Canadian Animals defeat High & Devine (Benny Benson & Darryl Devine) with underhanded tactics to retain the TCW Tag Team Championship.</p><p> </p><p> Ricky Dale Johnson defeats Jay Chord after Chord gets himself intentionally disqualified. Chord would assault RDJ after the match. </p><p> </p><p> Sammy Bach defeats Troy Tornado with a Roll Up to retain the TCW International Championship. It’s clear that this feud is far from over after such a close encounter!</p><p> </p><p> In a Wild Brawl, Rocky Golden defeats Eddie Peak. Afterwards, Golden looks back into the ring to find Peak maniacally laughing, begging Golden that they “do it again.”</p><p> </p><p> In the Main Event, Wolf Hawkins defeats Aaron Andrews to become the NEW and 3-Time TCW World Heavyweight Champion. Cue the fireworks. </p><p> </p><p> I do like Aaron Andrews, and he was one of my guys in TEW2013. I just think he needs a bit more work before putting the World Title of a National company on him. </p><p> </p><p> And there we go. Time to rebuild TCW back into the powerhouse it once was!</p>

<p>I decided to bow out as booker of MAW after receiving a pretty crazy goal of making a profit of $100,000 in one year, when the company was barely making money per month (was more interested in increasing popularity). My approval rating was at High, so I decided to move on and start my own company.</p><p> </p><p> Thus, Five Star Wrestling is born (yes, with an actual star in the logo!). Cult Level, cause hey, why not. FSW starts off as a mix of promising talents and old stars who are there to...well...put the promising talents over! </p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately for MAW, I raided much of the talent that I worked so hard to put over. Fro Sure, El Mitico, Delirium, Blue Phantom, etc. Dynamite Express might be a future option, too, if I don't care much for my tag division. Sam Keith can't be too upset, he signed on to be a Road Agent! haha</p><p> </p><p> Buddy Garner is my reigning World Champion right now, though it's a stopgap. It's all about the up and coming talent, and whoever I might snatch away from other companies.</p>

Two years have passed in my MAW career. The roster has had a massive overhaul in 24 months, both by my choice and bigger companies snatching my top stars. Greg Gauge is now working for USPW, and Kill Switch (Frankie Perez) is now in BHOTWG after a long stint as MAW Champ. Davis Wayne Newton now reigns at the top of MAW as Sam Keith's prized champion after Keith's son departed. He's coming off a long feud with MAW mainstay, Roderick Remus. Remus was able to defeat DWN for the COTT World Heavyweight Title, but faltered when the MAW World Heavyweight Title was on the line. MAW is currently in a transition as far as feuds go. The biggest feud going on right now is between former tag team partners Fro Sure & Logan Wolfsbaine. Logan turned on Fro when they failed to take the Tag Titles from the Dynamite Express. Fro Sure, meanwhile, won the 2018 Rip Chord Invitational Challenge, and as a result has been awarded a MAW World Heavyweight Title Shot. As far as the rest of the roster goes, Dynamite Express continue to roll on their historic reign as Tag Champs. 3 years and counting! Blue Phantom ended Delirium's year long reign as the MAW American Champion, though their feud is far from over. Delirium has become a personal fav, being that he's being billed as a crazed maniac who rarely is pinned but loses often due to Disqualification because of foreign objects he hides in his gear. As far as the business side goes, MAW is very close to Regional level, and now only faces two penalties as far as production goes (I don't improve it unless I make a monthly profit). As for my created character, I'm nearing the Highest Reputation, so I'll have to make the decision soon whether to stay with MAW or start my own company. Right now, my character's resume has been sent to TCW following the removal of Kyle Rhodes as CEO. I doubt I'll get hired, but we'll see what happens.

So Sam Keith, looking for his next big star after his son Greg signs with TCW, uses his power to book the crowning of the new COTT champ on one of his cards. The matchup? The aging Tank Bradley versus Keith's prized new signing...The Triple Threat...Davis...Wayne...Newton!</p>

<p>Man, this thread is my saving grace right now. I'm determined to make something out of MAW, and a few tips here and there on this thread is exactly what I needed.</p><p> </p><p> The roster has some fun characters, but definitely has dead weight at the same time. Steadily, I've just been swapping them out for better talent, most of them at a cheaper price.</p><p> </p><p> But yeah, it's hard to make a buck right away with MAW. That's been my trouble. And yeah, I fell for the production trap. </p><p> </p><p> So I'm give it another go from the start with what I know now. Probably this time put the belt on Roderick Remus just to switch it up. Hopefully I don't get the same handicap again, which was Remus & Greg Gauge having terrible chemistry. Man, did that hurt my plans!</p>

I was looking over everyone's diaries here and see how much fun some are you having, and dangit, I thought it would be fun too! I don't see a TCW Diary on here, and seeing that I haven't enjoyed any company more than TCW right now, I figure that's a good place to go. Unfortunately, I don't really have time to dive deep into the real world mods and such. I wish I did. But, I enjoy nothing more right now than coming home after work and putting together one or two TCW shows. So, I'm going to hop into the diary in November 2013, give a quick summary of what has happened for the first 10 months, and then try to give an update after every PPV Show. I think I'm going to call it "TCW: Making Mr. Cornell Proud." Seeing that Cornell seems to want his nose in everything!

Hey guys, just two small requests that maybe someone can pull together. 1) Joshua Taylor w/Sunglasses - I have him teaming with Danny Fonzarelli in TCW, but they're the only team I have that really looks like an odd couple. Preferably with large sunglasses, but hey I'll take what I can get! 2) Joss Thompson in a Suit (Sunglasses optional) - This might be floating around somewhere, but Thompson is my newest member of the Syndicate and future replacement of Wolf Hawkins when he turns face. So I want him to fit in. Thanks!
