  1. Been a while since I binged on new renders, so I'm gonna gush. Just throwing out a thank you so much/massive props to the render artists contributing lately. Off the top of my head, Undertaker and Blackman still going strong and (I think) better than ever, and domj and cooldude so quickly (I think?) on a level of quality and uniqueness that seems to be very difficult to find. Tbh you've each posted some of my all-time favorites in the past few months. If this really has to be the last WMMA, all the more reason to appreciate you folks adding to its longevity.
  2. RE: free pictures, yeah. There's a section for "Acceptable Positions" in the Free Picture form where you set the picture to Fighter or Non-Fighter or both. As for adding them some other way, not as far as I know. It's the same form that you use for fighters, *but* any information that isn't relevant to them can be completely ignored or set to absolutely whatever, because it doesn't show up or make any difference in-game. If they're a Retired Fighter then it would matter if they came out of retirement, but if they're Not A Fighter then all that matters is what the game uses and what you see on their profile (which does include their height, but not even their weight is visible if I remember right) and any fighter skills can be 0 or 100 or anything and it makes no difference... I usually copy and edit existing Non Fighters for my own anxiety reasons, but there's no good reason to do that. Just set up all of the relevant stats and info and the rest can be ignored.
  3. Look for the section called "Corporate Relationships" in the main (pre-game) editor.
  4. No worries, there's a way to recover your license. You can find the License FAQ thread here in the tech support forum. They just get kinda buried under the sections for newer games. Bottom line is that you'll need to email Scott@greydogsoftware.com, tell him you need to recover your license, and He has been quick getting back to me every time, for what it's worth, and it's a simple process... So it goes, nature of the beast with this kind of licensing system (so I'm glad they're helpful about it), and any user who hasn't been there before has been lucky:D Unlicensing is easy too (and covered in that FAQ), but sometimes you don't get a chance to unlicense :/
  5. <p>Thank you for doing this! I never would've:D I know too well how much time and effort it takes, even just adapting it to a new layout... I remember doing the 2016 update (and 2020 is even more different), and it really isn't much quicker than making a skin from scratch, and definitely no less tedious. -_- </p><p> </p><p> Thanks for asking first too, and wanting to share it with everyone and fulfill some color requests. Even simply changing the color after you have everything in place is tedious as hell honestly. Looks great from what I've seen of it so far.<img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  6. I've heard of people using a program called WhatPulse to track their time in non-Steam games. I can't vouch for it because I've never used it, but it might be what you're looking for, and I believe it's free. https://whatpulse.org/ That one seems more focused on tracking mouse and keyboard clicks, but it does track the amount of time you spend focused on that app I think. There are other programs that do the same thing. Worth looking into.

  8. <p>Amazing work lately, from everyone. It's greatly appreciated, and it's getting more and more difficult to decide which render I want to use. First, go to the folder for your savegame and try using the backup file.</p><p> </p><p> For example, I'd go to 'Program Files>GDS>WMMA5>Databases>Default>SaveGames>ALPHA-1>backup' and copy the WMMA5.mdb file, then paste and overwrite the one in the main ALPHA-1 folder. I save them all. The work you folks do is too damn good not to find some use for it, and it's so much easier to remember those new workers (and possibly push them) when their structure and poses are more unique.</p><p> </p><p> Don't know if anyone else does this, but when a re-render is too obviously Worker X to use as another worker or a free picture, I'll save it anyway and use it for the re-gen of X if they retire or die. I always turned regeneration off before, because it bothers me when it's the same picture, but this way they look different enough that it's not weird. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  21. Brooke Tyler: I tried to adjust the angle of the mask, but probably not enough, because it still looks off. Hopefully it'll do. The KC facepaint request would be much more time-consuming, but I might give it a go if I get bored enough soon, and you still need it.
  22. This is incredible. Please keep the joshi love coming.

They make me want to start a new game with Christian Faith as my user character.</div></blockquote><p> Thank you. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Like I said to the person who requested the alt, that's pretty much exactly how I'd picture Faith looking if he returned to the business. A bit older and more grizzled, with a righteous beard. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Most of the work on that one was stupidly easy, and the beard could have been much more difficult if I didn't get so lucky with the first picture I tried. Cutting it out was a pain, but once I fit it onto the render, getting it to blend in and look natural was surprisingly quick. As I look at it more, the edges around his mouth could have used more work, but whatever. Anyway, glad you liked it. Felt kind of good to get back into the alt game.</p>

I still have the Photoshop project saved from that alt I made for Eisen-verse's dynasty, so I have the scale pattern ready to go, but I'll probably have to draw the rest out from scratch since that render is at a different angle. Not that it's a very complicated design. Anyway, I love that re-render very much, and I'd like to switch to it myself (as good as J-Silver's re-render is), but I've made several alts for the J-Silver render that I use, so I feel like I need to re-do nearly all of those for shipshirt's render before I can really feel comfortable making the switch. Mikey James has a bright future ahead of him in my current on-and-off save (the only kind of saves I ever have), so we'll see.</p>
  25. Excellent work all around lately. It's so great, it feels like this renderer group as a whole is only getting better and more motivated with time, and basically taking up the torch from some of the render artists who covered a lot of ground in the previous threads, but aren't very active anymore. Lots of incredible new takes on various favorites, and I especially love seeing some of the workers who were still stuck with their default renders finally getting some love. I'm really looking forward to the day when the entire C-Verse has been brought up to the standard that has been set, which I feel is inevitable at this rate. Really impressive, all of you. Blackman, with your permission, I'd love to share some of your WMMA renders that I've put on a C-Verse background and used to replace various C-Verse females. Some of them have been re-rendered already, especially lately, but others still haven't been covered as far as I'm aware. If nothing else, maybe people could use them as free pictures? Some of my favorites of yours are included in that group (some of my favorite female renders in general, from either game), so it would be nice to see them getting their due attention on the TEW side of the board.
