1. I just created my own broadcaster for the purpose of having my child company host weekly shows! I assigned the broadcaster to them and all was good, but I wanted to assign the broadcaster to my main roster show? I have been looking through all the options and can't seem to figure it out!? I've searched through all the broadcasters and mine isn't in there. In the child company section, there is an option titled ''Own Broadcaster'' but I can't seem to find that option for my main show!?

This is weird, because if you have created one, it should be there.

Then you need to negotiate a broadcasting deal with your network and that´s it.

    So, the way would be:

Office -> Broadcasting -> View All Broadcasters -> select "your Network" -> Negotiate -> New Deal for ... "your TV show"

  3. There are several product settings that can't be affected by preferences. Most notably anything related to match times. Penalties for short or long matches, requirements for match time if it involves major workers, caps, etc.

    Fair enough.

You´ll still get penalties, if you´re using two jobbers for 20 minutes.

And now that I´m reading the OP again, I think with perfect show he really does mean "perfect".

  4.

No, only the match aim requirements and match ratios.

But you can turn off more things, down to the point, where the only requirements would be to have altleast three different segments on the show and to advance one storyline per show (if your product has storylines).

To be clear, I´m not against a "Freestyle-Product".

Actually, I would like to see it, because it would make a lot of people happy.

But reading the OP and what he wants to achieve, you can do this already by turning off the preferences.

Or maybe I´m just misunderstanding something??

Can we possibly get an option to turn off strict product requirements? If not, can we get a product with no bonuses or penalties? 6. I think this was mostly requested because of the new "Talk to Worker"-feature.

Before this, for example you could talk a Japanese worker to work in the United States, sign him to a cheap non-exclusive deal, so he would still work (and live) in Japan, but work for your US company too without covered travel costs.

So I think it was a good request. But I do see where you coming from.

Maybe the best option would be, that only workers from different countries request this and like you said, some workers based on their personality.

  7. It's not just the PPV buys, either. Attendance figures for pay-per-views seem waaaaaaaaaay to high as well. Medium sized companies should not be getting close to 30.000 people to their shows, in my opinion.

    Yeah, I forgot that point.

Malice in Wonderland (TCW´s first PPV) gets 50k in attendance.

Seems too high for me. If it was Total Mayhem (Season Finale, Legendary), okay, but not the other PPVs.

Overall, the financial side and the (more cosmetic) scaling of pay and attendance figures in the game are still a complete mess at this point.

I´m pretty sure, Adam will work on this. (hopefully)

But this is more complex I think, because it´s not just changing one number. So it will take some time.

TNA is a very poor example at any point in their history. A better example would be RoH. They've basically never broken 2,000 fans no matter how hot they've been without NJPW talent there on Wrestlemania weekend. That's a 20-year-old company with a fanbase. lucky to half sell UMBC Arena. Wrestling on the low end is a very bleak affair, You usually need a gimmick or a hot WWE event to piggyback off to turn a profit these days. If the majority of indie companies break a 100 buys on FITE, I'd be stunned. The idea that a small-medium company is doing 10k buys on internet PPV is ridiculous, TNA's average buyrate was 6k buys at the end. For most you should see almost zero buys unless the event has name value.

I´m completely on your side here.

RoH´s last PPV had under 800 buys. Before that 3.000-4.000.

    Same for bigger companys.

WWE had 1.2 million for Cena vs. The Rock, the biggest match in 10 years.

The other PPVs, not named Wrestlemania, usually had between 200k-500k buys. TCW and SWF sell over 2 million regurlarly.

As I said, the numbers need to be reduced drastically, by 80-90%.

Like 2016, which was much more realistic.

  8. ...

In general wouldn’t it be better for PPV shows if there was a requirement that they needed other shows to build to them less they suffer a penalty to their buys? That would give incentive to not make everything a PPV just for money.

You can turn on Mandatory Pre-Booking, that´s kind of a build up for PPV´s, but I don´t know how big the effect is.

But the PPV buys in general are way too high, be it on self-owned broadcasters or regular broadcasters. Like way too high.

Selling 2-2,5 million PPVs with TCW at size 72 is ridiculous. 40-50k with CZCW is also too much. They need to be reduced by 80-90%.

(subscription seems also too high, but I haven´t test this enough)

2016 was much better in this. I hope Adam tweaks 2020 closer to 2016.

But I´m pretty sure he will give this a look once the retail drops.

  9. This might already be something that is part of the final tweaking so apologies if it is something that has already been taken on board but looking at the new worker profile screen, the space given to skills is still a little inefficient and not as user-friendly as it could be, in my opinion. In a similar way to the restructure of the office screen, is something like this possible:

    T8NdEJG.jpg

It makes better use of the space, you don't have to scroll any more, you can see all the stats at a glance, they are separated by type of stat. Personally I would really like that sort of change but don't know how feasible it is in terms of coding (if the programme only allows the list to be exported as one for that screen, obviously this wouldn't be possible).

Like others said, please post this in the Suggestions Subforum.

This would be a huge upgrade.

I also always preferred when worker skills could be descriptions and I would set scouting to 8 or below so I could get them, or had a grade option. ...

There´s is some kind of "workaround" with Pro Mode.

I know, it´s not the same like the descriptions or even grades, but it´s atleast something.

  11. Somewhat off topic but another thing that I wouldn’t mind changing is booking time overall. I think it would be better if time was booked in ranges. Maybe 7-10 minutes, 10-13 minutes etc. it really don’t make sense for a person to be fatigue for a 7 minute match but would be perfectly fine for a 6 minute match.

This could also open up a scenario where a selfish worker would go over his allocated time and you’ll have to make adjustments to other segments.

    I really like this idea.

  12. There are products in the game, that allow you to run longer angles.

Well, atleast there is one. Coincidentally, it´s the default product of the company I always run in the CV, that´s why I know it.

Actually, if you have a worker who is over and has decent enough skills, you will score higher with 10 or 15 minutes, than with 5 minutes (rated on Entertainment or Microphone).

So, this seems to be more of a product thing.

With that being said, I actually think, it´s "realistic", that longer angles are penalized.

At what time the penalty should occur, 5 minutes or 7 or 10 or ... that is another question.

But even during the Attitude Era, most angles wouldn´t run longer than 10 minutes. There were just a few exceptions and they would feature Austin or The Rock, to keep the crowd invested.

And I said this in another thread, I wish the game would be better in recognizing these exceptions to the rule, where a worker, who is over enough and has the skills to pull it off, should be able, to avoid these penalties occasionaly.

And if there´s a hot storyline behind the angle. But I mean a really hot storyline, not what TEW considers as "hot" (Heat > 50).

  13. Anyone got any ideas what the Bach/Chord feud could be about?

Before the Beta came out, I hoped that TCW has pushed Chord to the moon.

Back in 2016, I had a huge storyline with Chord retiring RDJ.

I mean, with the history between Rip and RDJ, it had to be Jay right!?! Right??

Well, Adam thought different. Missed opportunity in my opinion.

So, my plan was to continue this in 2020, so Chord being the guy, who retired RDJ (in this case, his Pop would be much higher, around 80 at minimum).

But as he isn´t, I see the feud vs. Bach as a classic, simple "My time has come and it is my destiny ..." vs. "No, I´m first in the line ...".

Chord is mocking Sammy "You are here for what, like 30 years and you won nothing?? Maybe, you are just not good enough."

Jay dominates the feud and seems to be proven right.

Sammy struggles after that, gets a new gimmick (something like "man on a mission", who gives everything he has to finally achieve his dream) and as I said, my plan is to give him his moment at Total Mayhem 25.

I think he just deserves it. And it helps that he is one of my favourite wrestlers in the CV ;)

  14. I noticed that banners didn't display as prominently in TEW20 as in 16 so didn't really see much need in making them as much. (only found 3 screens - Announcers, Hall Of Fame and Investments)

I did have enough saved of the gray logo to make this though

    Banner.jpg

If there is enough demand, I might make banners but do people view those screens often enough to warrant it?

    Yeah you´re right.

You basically never see the banners, so not really needed.
