<p>Weird question. While I'm trying to set up everything for the reincarnation of my APW diary (which takes way longer than I would've expected), I'd really like to try something else. There's a mobile game called 80's Mania Wrestling that seems to be pretty funny because it's very lightweight and features zany characters. I'd like to make a diary about this game, but obviously it has absolutely nothing to do with TEW - so I guess the right area in this forum to put it in would be the "Special Dynasty Forum". The thing now is that very few people seem to read in that area and therefore I'm a little afraid that creating a diary over there would be kinda wasted.</p><p> </p><p> So the question is - may users (in this case, me) open dynasties about other wrestling games right here? Is there someone who would absolutely reject that? Oh, alright. Maybe I just misunderstood you. So you'd still go with it, but you also say it's realistic, right (hopefully I've got it this time)? I mean, realism in that regard isn't that important in a dynasty anyway, like BHK1978 pointed out, but since I'm new to this kind of stuff, it's great to hear what others think about certain aspects. That's interesting - things aren't as bad as in Germany everywhere then. We have a company called GEMA here that's responsible for 50 % of the popular music videos (or videos containing popular music) on Youtube aren't available to watch. That's exactly what I think. I already noticed that I like some of my workers more just because of the theme I've given them. So basically you're saying it's not realistic, but you'd go with it anyway?

The thing here is that, at least in Germany (I don't know how it is in other countries), you have to pay a fee every time you play a copyrighted song in public. That's probably way too expensive for small companies, letting someone produce a generic rock theme is a one-time payment (and probably not even a big one because you can leave that to some hobby musicians) and therefore more affordable for regional promotions. It's pretty interesting that there are two completely different opinions, though. MHero, would it actually worsen the quality of the dynasty for you?

For an APW dynasty (i.e. a regional company from Australia that does shows with 2,000 attendees), would you prefer to have popular entrance themes for the wrestlers (which would be unrealistic because promotions at this size will probably only use in-house music, but may add a special feeling to the dynasty and recall value to the workers) or is realism more important to you, meaning such a thing shouldn't be used because it would destroy the immersion? Or do you not care about entrance themes at all? I've already found themes for all my workers, but I'm not a hundred percent sure whether I should really use them (because of the reasons stated above) and I'd like to have some more opinions on that topic.

There definitely are similarities to WWE broadcasting the epic match between John Cena and CM Punk on RAW while Cena vs. Rock at Wrestlemania will probably be way less entertaining. It's interesting to see the development of SWF here, especially since I'm new to TEW and therefore don't have any experiences with how they're doing normally. Your storylines are developing well and you consistently add some depth to them every show, as well as further construct your characters. Go on like that (:

Well, that show already had an improved structure (: It's also nice to see that the Paratroopers got some kind of revenge on those cowboys, 'cause they well deserved it. It will be exciting to see how Tagan and Laine will react. And, of course, I'm even more curious about if Skip Beau will finally get his hands on Nomad and let him pay for his devious actions.

If you ask me, it means something completely different - in particular that you put him across very well, 'cause in the end he is a heel (isn't he?) and as such depends on the fans hating him. Since I do, you've done a great job (; Your write-ups are good! Like I said, it was just the structure of the show and didn't annoy me or something, I just pointed it out in case you didn't recognize it by yourself (and so it served the purpose) (: Concerning your recent posts: I really like your case notes, 'cause they're a great way to provide us with interesting background information (especially when you design them like entry #5, which was very well written and gave us a lot of backstage knowledge). Like I said before, it's also great that you give us steadily sight of the happenings in SWF - all in all, I'm still reading, I'll go on with that and look forward to your next posts!

Good show, and certainly surprising as Renluenn didn't win the Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship as I and several others expected. Nomad seems to be a pain in the ass and definitely has no sense of honour, but I'm sure someone will take vengeance for that injustice, if it's not Skip Beau himself. I liked the promo of Tex Tagan and Joffy Laine, you wrote that pretty well and granted them good chemistry. Keep them up as a team if the game allows it, since they probably could be very entertaining. There's also a bit criticism, though - the show had a somewhat boring structure, with one part of the next match coming out to address his/their opponents, then wrestling them before the next one comes out, addressing his/their opponents, then wrestling them... and so on. It wasn't too bothering and thus didn't really lower the show's quality, but you could add more variety next month.

It's nice that you examine the SWF's current situation whenever there are important things to report, such as the rise to international size and give us an overview on their booking. However, I hope they won't take under contract anyone on your roster (and I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure they won't), as signing one of your agents probably would take the sense from this dynasty...

Good first show. It's a shame that the Paratroppers have been destroyed so badly, hopefully they will have the opportunity to shine sometime in the future. I agree that it's pretty hard to form authentic characters during the first shows, but at least I really like the character of Renluenn - he's such an idiot!

Extremely great idea and I'll certainly be following this promising dynasty! Love that the initials of the new promotion you've founded and the FBI are the same and really enjoyed reading your work so far, so I'm looking forward to this. First of all - why isn't this thread pinned? Oo Secondly - I'm thinking about writing a dynasty in these forums (as this is probably the best place in the whole internet to do so). The problem is that English isn't my mother tongue and therefore I'm not up to writing completely correct texts, especially when it comes to things like grammar, syntax, and, most of all, a good expression. What I want to know from you is if you could imagine to read such a dynasty, as I know that I probably would get irriated if I'd read a story written by a guy who's not completely familiar with the language he's writing in. Thus, if you're seeing things the same as me, it's senseless to start such a project and this is exactly why I decided to ask before I act (: So - what's it like for you?

As I don't really get to like one of the free announcer pictures but don't want to simply use Currans avatar and replace his with a custom one, it should look broadly similar concerning the style, but it should be possible to see Curran and the alt picture as kind of two different people (:
