No one is arguing or picking a fight. We will agree to disagree. You are entitled to your opinion and thats fine.

I realize I sounded accusatory there, which wasn't my intention, I meant it as I don't want to pick a fight, so I'll drop it after this (I realize reading it back that that's not how it sounded)

If both the AI company or person using the output are charging money whilst stealing others art then yeah it can be very sleazy. However when doing these images and not inputting any artist name, not charging money etc... I see no difference (morally speaking) in what AI creates to someone creating a 3d model based off of something/someone they have seen. There's arguments for and against AI and I can see both sides of it but seeing as these mods are free I don't think it should matter if AI is used in them.

I don't think it's worth picking a fight, but I'll say my counterpoint and than leave it alone, the AI companies even if they're not charging directly still make money off of it, and even if you don't input a specific name, it's still going to be trained on massive amounts of stolen art, even if you're not actively profiting off of it, the AI company still is and every piece of ai art made helps train it which will only make it more and more likely to be used in the even worse stuff.

edit: I hear this there's no difference between an ai copying and mashing together elements they've "seen" and a person making thing based on their influence a lot and I think it's not the same at all, one is an artist taking inspiration, the other is an algorithm mashing together things it stole, even if it's very good at that it's still at it's core doing that.

    Excellent. Thank you.

I use AI software and then use Paintshop 2023 and/or Gimp to make any tweaks to the images. I used to use DAZ (which a few images still are) but after spending over £300 on clothing/skin/lighting etc... I just didn't like what I was producing.

yeah, I don't care for AI stuff, too much sleazyness there, shame, I enjoyed the original mod.

    So to give a little bit of an insight into my new mod, here are a couple of screens;

There will also be some changes to the logo's and company names. Unfortunately I can't remember whose permission I asked for to use some of these logo's and although I was given permission to use them on the 2016 version, some people may have changed their minds on what I use.

Bad Idea Wrestling (the name, not logo) came from me and your welcome to keep it if you've not changed it yet, no harm done if you have, also oddity (I forget the spelling, and I also think I gave him a daughter) came from me and I'm fine with them being used, if you don't mind me asking what do you use to make these renders?

I think everybody was ready for the Wardlow win there. Feels like they pulled the rug from under him, just when he was getting going he had to lose in such a weak way. It was all poorly executed, kinda makes me question how much the talents involved believed in it. In their position, I would have rolled with the story being Wardlow using the TNT title as a gambit to get Max in the ring with him. The only way MJF will get in there and fight him is if the title is on the line, that sort of deal... Wardlow as TNT champ just defending it every week and powerbombing chumps to keep retaining as MJF lined up contenders would have been money.

For me personally, Sky is a bust. AEW are not going to get him over as a major heel no matter what they do. It's been long enough and the dude is not over in any town. Presentation-wise they've tried to some degree, the chops are just not there. The character isn't a natural fit. I would have cut my losses here, had him lose, put Wardlow over big and then have Sammy G chase his revenge against ATT for taking his title and hurting his girl. You can still do that and you don't need Wardlow to get pinned here to do it. Feels like a miss, let's see if they can rescue it.

I disagree on Sky, I think he's great, but every time he starts to get momentum, AEW forgets about him for months and kills said momentum. also pretty sure they're gonna run Wardlow vs MJF now.

  9. I'd rather them have one women's match featured a show that has some kind of meaning, than 3 matches that are just thrown out there for no reason and given no time. They have limited TV time and a roster that is honestly probably too large, there are a number of men who people complain aren't getting enough time as well. They are also having a women's match on each Rampage pretty regularly.

They are at least trying to give many of their female talent something to do, the aforementioned TBS Tournament, Anna Jay and Tay Conti's extended feud with the Bunny and Penelope Ford, Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb's feud. All of these have been long running and given ample time, not to mention Britt Baker being pushed as a big deal with segments every week. I'm not going to sit here and tell you it's perfect but I believe progress has been made from where the division started.

you for some reason you assume if there was more women's matches they'd be meaningless, you realize they could have multiple meaningful matches, and if they were meaningless that would be because there isn't enough women's stories, a problem easily solved by y'know having more women's stories

  10. The few matches I saw of her were decent considering she's not a vet (if they were short). She had a distinct look and had potential imo.

But if - upon not getting extended for not being good enough - you start yappin' how there's a lack of diversity, one can only raise his eyebrows. "Women not getting enough time? No black people?" Are you kidding me? Lashley, BigE, Belair,... These haven't been pushed lately, have they? And they certainly weren't champions.

    .

Bobbly Lashly, Big E and Bianca Belair, of course known top stars in AEW
