  1. Let's be honest here this whole twitter stuff with Big Swole is a mess. Most people are just pretending to care about diversity because they just need an excuse to attack people. F*** the IWC seriously, it's 1% care and 99% of it is an agenda. People starting to be racist against the like of Hikaru Shida, Hobbs, Dean, Thunder Rosa, Conti, etc on Twitter while pretending to be against racism and wanting diversity. Also most of them are just looking for anything to attack AEW. Most of what Tony Khan said was write, also where he said Big Swole isn't that great, which is true, but he didnt have to write that last part. Will Hobbs, Scorpio Sky, Cargill, the Acclaimed,Tay Conti,Shida,Guevara,P-N-P,Kingston,(the list goes on) are on weekly TV and somehow there's a diversity issue??Gtfo frl.

AEW World Champions: Jericho,Moxley, Omega (Bisexual), Page

AEW Women''s Champions: Riho (Japanesse),Nyla Rosa (transgender), Shida (japanesse), Britt Baker

    TNT Title:Cody(spanish heritage),Brodie,Allin,Miro(Bulgaria),Guevara(spanish)

Tag Title: SCU (Scorpio Sky black), Omega-Page,FTR,Young Bucks,Lucha Bros(mexicans)

    TBS Title: Likely Jade Cargill

    FTW title: Ricky Starks

Also they complain about not being a black champion at the moment. Who on the roster is black that is more of a star power, popular and better than the likes of Punk,Danielson,Miro,Omega,Page,MJF,etc ?

MJF is grossly overrated so huge number of them outrank him, second... you realize they could make people stars if they give them the TV time to get over Moriaty is the total package, Lockheart is super good and has been on Dark, Scorp had all the momentum in the world and then they just forgot about him for months.

  3. I still find it odd that people are surprised Cody was booed here, he's been a pretty unlikable face for a while now, add to that this was his first time wrestling outside of the south since becoming "america" guy. and most importantly Black is super over and hot with the audience, put all that together and I would have found it shocking if they did cheer for him.
  4. No, no.... we don't talk about that here. Shhhhhhhhhh!!!

It is weird though. I don't know why AEW don't acknowledge it other than to try to pretend it has never happened before and try to add more value. But given that the smart fans they appeal directly to know this kind of thing, it's a strange move.

There are only two payoffs I can see from ignoring it are either Kota Ibushi himself being in AEW to draw attention to it (and who doesn't want Omega vs Ibushi?) or someone else kicks out of it in AEW at some point to become "first".

I think it's intentional, in part leaning into the fact that Kenny is high in the actual company structure, they're deliberately ignoring it except for minor moment (like when Excalibur kinda mumbled "Ibushi did it" after Tony or JR (I think), so that, they can pull a big "Um, Actually" moment to set up a match between the two in the future.

  5. what is it with anti Deathmatch people and their inability to not bitch about it existing, and acting like it's somehow gonna hurt the show (and the business for that matter) Nick Gage did a very good number, and they put in on last so if it's not your thing (which is perfectly fine) you can stop watching having seen the rest of the show, one of the best things about AEW is that there's variety in the performers and they style of matches they put on, and that they don't shy away from any style. so if something's not your thing, something else on the show probably will be.

That came across my feed and I laughed pretty good. Seems like every wrestling page or group on social media there's always Omega fans that never shut up about him. Truthfully, that might even be apart of why my opinion of him has declined besides his decline in match quality since leaving New Japan.

The opposite is also true, there are guys like you everywhere that never shut up about how annoying they find him, I like Kenny, there are wrestlers I like more than Kenny, but I feel there's no denying he's very good, he may not work for you, but clearly he works for a lot of people or he wouldn't have those fans and he wouldn't keep getting strong reactions on every show he's on.

  7. That's certainly possible and I typically don't have issues with heel vs heel or face vs face match ups if there's a good story or good workers involved, but unless Nyla has vastly improved in her time away, I don't see her being able to overcome the heel/heel dynamic. Britt is already getting a huge face reaction despite being a mega conceited bitch. Putting her against someone like Nyla is just going to get her more cheers I'd imagine. Which I guess could work out if they want to flip Britt back to being a face, but that seems premature.

She made a few botches early and people like to say she's green, and not very good, but she already had experience and was already good before joining AEW, does noone remember the banger that was the second RIHO match that was considered AEW'S best womens match at the time by many, her title reign could've been great, but she was gone from the pandemic, and then instead of actually giving her the badass reign she deserved AEW just pretended she had a dominant reign and took the belt off her in defense #2. Once she came back

  8. Has any promotion at any point in history had a tag division as good as AEW's?

Not even trying to be an AEW fanboy, but holy moly, their tag ranks are friggin stacked!

Hopefully the promo Santana and Ortiz cut on Elevation is an indicator that they're on their way to the top finally. In my opinion they are the best team in the world bar none and have been for a few years. Even though I adore the Inner Circle, it's kind of put Santana and Ortiz on the backburner in the tag division.

we seem to have almost opposite opinions on pretty much everything AEW (including Inner Circle), so it's nice to see we agree on something, Santana and Ortiz belong in the spotlight and have belonged there since AEW started.

  9. might be worth considering taking 100% heel of of Kraven The Hunter, I've been reading some squirrel girl recently and he actually kinda has a pretty good face turn. I'm also not done reading it, so maybe I'm way off here.

Edit: Just caught this, but Rath's Bio appears to be a bio written for Vampiro
