  2. I could not find this asked before (but I am sure it has), but is there any way to edit a title's lineage in a saved game? I know you can do it in the database before creating a new game, but I had one guy in a tag team retire (no advance warning other than he is 47) so the titles were vacated. I figured maybe I can just edit him to an occasional wrestler and have them drop the belts on my next show ahead of my scheduled plans, so I put the belts back on them and now the lineage shows them as two time champs....all I want to do is delete the extra line.

    Thanks in advance!

  3. NWA Tag Team Championship Qualifier

The Aces of Mayhem vs The Rock City Stars

Comment: This is a toss up to me, I think the Aces are the better choice because Turner usually goes on a tour with his band mid year.

    For the NWA Television Championship

'The Hardcore American' Chris Caulfield © vs Charlie Corner

Comment: The hardcore one definitely wins over the kid, waiting for his showdown with Youngman

    Miller Fforde vs Doug Peak

Comment: No reason to have the visitor win

One Man Army vs Andre Jones

Comment: Seems like Jones will win since he needs momentum going into the Heavyweight title match, I smell some outside interference.

Extra - What question would you like to have J.K. Stallings Jr answer?

Question: What was your biggest regret when you sold your company?

  4. I read somewhere that TNA is hoping that the current round of tapings will get them through 2016 and the rebranded company will debut in 2017. It also sounds like all talent and TV contracts will remain in tact and the only thing going to the WWE is the video library going back to 2002. I would love to see WWE Network release the weekly PPVs that TNA did back in 2002 and 2003...there were some great matches back then and you can never get enough Monty Brown.....The POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUNCE!!!!!!
  5. I don't know why, but Ambrose reminds me of Roddy Piper....maybe it's the "crazy" gimmick but whenever I see him, Piper is the first guy to pop in my head. I think Ambrose is great in the ring and has good mic skills, but there is something about him that I just don't like and I just can't figure it out.

On a side note, did anyone like that they turned Carmella on Smackdown? I think she will be a great annoying heel....I never liked her as a face and I think the only reason she was a face was because she was linked to Enzo and Cass down in NXT. I think her feud with Nikki will be good....although I see Nikki coming out on top when Carmella should be the one to get the build from it.

  6. It might be the start of title inflation, but the women really need something tangible to fight for. Either the women's title need to float and be contested cross-brand at least on the PPVs, or they need their own Smackdown Women's Champions title. Same thing for tag teams. Otherwise the tag team division will consist of American Alpha beating up the Vaudevillains or the Ascension once a week.

I really hope they do the floating title(s) between brands. I could be an easy storyline between the two brands, where both want to have more titles than the other, but I have this feeling that there will be a new Women's and Tag Title for Smackdown once they build up both divisions so they are not so top heavy.

  7. Ziggler has no change in hell of winning the title off of Ambrose. THis is just a filler. Ambrose is having a nice run and he won't lose it until AJ Styles or Bray Wyatt most likely. WWE is just giving the fans what they want for once, which is a solid in ring performance. No one in the business outside of AJ Styles gives us as good of a match as Ziggler

Oh I know they are not going to take the title off Ambrose this soon, nor should they. I think the match will be a good one and I really hope that down the road he gets another run with the top title.

And to have Styles eat a pin when he didn't even take the finisher? Odd.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I always thought that Ziggler deserved another run with the title. He is a great worker in the ring and has charisma and it seems the fans are behind him. Plus he can play the face or heel role really well. I am looking forward to the match between him and Ambrose at Summerslam, I just wonder if one of them is going to turn heel or AJ somehow gets involved.</p>
  9. We were scratching our heads on the finish of Young/Miz as well. It looked to me like after Maryse slapped him, he jumped up and tried to tear off his shirt and she fell backward and then was saying that Backlund hit her to Miz, which set him off and he ran down and got into his face and shoved him to the ground, then the bell sounded? Not sure what the heck they are trying to do....
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="iruleall15" data-cite="iruleall15" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Soooo.. whata going on with Heath Slater?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> He is going to be Sasha's partner at Battleground!!! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I was thinking the same thing....maybe really do a "Social Outcast" angle with him? It really made no sense.</p>
  11. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jaysin" data-cite="Jaysin" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Anyone else have a feeling Bayley will be Sasha's partner at Battleground?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I can't think of anyone else they could bring in that would make sense. Maybe Nia Jax? Are there any former "Divas" that could be a possibility? I am kind of hoping for a Velvet Sky sighting, but I doubt most casual WWE fans would know who she is.</p>
  12. <p>"PWTorch is reporting that Vince McMahon wants to tell a redemption story with Reigns coming back better than ever after being suspended due to violating the wellness policy.</p><p> </p><p>

McMahon believes if he creates the story the way he wants to tell it the fans will finally buy into the character, universally. As opposed to the mixed reaction the former champion is receiving now."</p>

  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="soxfan93" data-cite="soxfan93" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>So hoping for Styles/Rollins for the title at Summerslam.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Me too, but I have this uncanny feeling it's going to be a triple threat between Reigns, Styles and Rollins. And then there is the part of me that thinks Cena somehow gets involved.</p>
  14. Not going to crap on you. Your opinion is your opinion, but just because people don't agree with your opinion, doesn't automatically make them children.

It's a shame you didn't watch it in the earlier years because it was amazing. It was an alternative to WWE, it had it's own style, it's own identity and it worked. It didn't try to emulate WWE as much as it does now. It isn't an alternative, it's just the same product WWE produce but with less audience. They have the best roster they have had in a long while, but still they just go to "Matt vs. Jeff Hardy" that WWE gave fans about 10 years ago. I like Mike Bennett, ECIII and Drew Galloway (not seen any of their TNA work apart from ECIII) and hopefully they do push those 3 as the top guys in the company. I don't care about either Hardy brother or Bobby Lashley and I'd guess they'll be the focus of the shows which doesn't interest me even remotely.

I must admit, I've not watched TNA in about a year - maybe more, so if their product has improved, great, unfortunately I've seen the best "side" of TNA and they will never replicate that enjoyment for me they once did. I don't want the company to "die", but I've no interest in watching the product they are producing either. Maybe when they bring back a decent X-Division.

I'll just say (so as to put something positive in), some of my favourite matches from TNA were Kurt Angle against Desmond Wolfe in 2009 (?), the steel cage match between America's Most Wanted Vs Triple X in 2004 (how can you not shout "Holy you know what" at THAT point in the match), and if you've never seen it, I suggest you watch Christopher Daniels Vs AJ Styles Vs Samoa Joe at Unbreakable 2005 because in my humble opinion that is my favourite ever TNA match. I may be in the minority but 2004-2007 was probably the best time for TNA, with parts of 2008 and 2009 being pretty entertaining.

I couldn't agree more with you on TNA. I used to watch it back when they did the weekly PPVs for $10 and loved watching guys like Jerry Lynn, Team Canada, The Flying Elvis's and my personal favorite 'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown. TNA back from about 2003/04 til 2009, (before Hogan came in and in my opinion ruined the company) was some of the best wrestling I had watched in a very long time. To me it rivaled WCW in it's heyday and I was really happy to have something other than the big bad WWE to watch.

I really think it went downhill fast after Hogan came in and started trying to go head to head with WWE and that is all most people remember, they look at TNA as this "WWE wannabe" and forget that it actually used to be great and had it's own identity.

Eric Murphy: Tradition... when we were kids, we'd hit Atlantic City., we put 5 bucks on red. We win, we knew it'd be a good weekend.

Ari Gold: What if you lose?

    Turtle: Vince never loses.

    Vincent Chase: Five on red.

    Turtle: Come on!

    Roulette Dealer: Red 16.

Vincent Chase: It's gonna be a good weekend! Oh and Ari, I have something to tell you.

    Ari Gold: What's that Vinny?!

Vincent Chase: You know that old wrestler....Larry Vassey or something....

Ari Gold: You mean Larry Vessey? Yeah, the guy who owns that little wrestling company in New York City....he's a prick.

Vincent Chase: Yeah, that's him....well...he no longer owns that company.

Ari Gold: Oh really? What happened, someone finally get that S.O.B to sell?

    Vincent Chase: Yep.....me.

  17. <p>WrestleMania still looks mediocre and RAW last night didn't do a whole lot to help it much.</p><p> </p><p>

To me the best parts of the show last night was the "A-Hole" and "CM Punk" chants to Mr McMahon....and I thought his response to them were great. And the very end of the show when Triple-H and Bray had that stare down. Other than that, nothing really knocked me off my seat.</p><p> </p><p>

The Sammy/KO thing was good, but a little predictable and of course the Heel turn of <span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Chris Jericho</span> was good but also predictable.</p><p> </p><p>

I am really hoping they pull something out of the air to make it seem more like a Wrestlemania....but my hopes are not too high.</p>

  19. He should not be forced to retire, which I think WWE is forcing him to because they are paranoid.

With all the players retiring from the NFL early and all the news about concussions causing CTE, I think he and his wife made the decision together. Bryan said they want to start a family and he wants to be around to see his kids grow up. I was hoping it was a work, but after watching the speech it was clear to me he made this decision after getting some news that while yes he could continue to wrestle, but knew there was a huge risk. I don't think the WWE played much of a role in his decision....they just looked like an NFL team keeping a player out another week because of a concussion.
